We recently remodeled our kitchen and used Mountain Crest again (we have used them on several other projects in the past). We worked mostly with Russ but also with Brian. Russ came out and made some great suggestions on changing the island from what we had in mind. So glad we went with his suggestion!!!!! Kitchen is beautiful. We had issues with some if the other contractors being on time, but Mountain Crest showed up the day they had said. They were done in just over two days. I read a couple poor reviews and felt compelled to tell our story. I dont know the whole story behind the other people and their issues, but most often times there are other contractors holding things up. It was interesting that Mountain Crest was blamed for calling a guy at a funeral. Maybe somebody should have told them and they would have called at a different time (???). Russ called us several times to ensure that he had every detail covered. He did indeed!!! Dont listen to the haters. They are by far the best in the business!!!

HORRIBLE! I would not recommend them. I put in a $60,000 upgraded kitchen. I asked the cabinets to be just like the Ivory Model home with only a couple of minor adjustments (ie, put in a 2nd dishwasher rather than drawers and switch the glass to be at the top cabinet rather than the main and the paint color). Everything else, was to be the exact same. I did not get that. Rather than a nice 5" molding around the bottom I got a tacky one inch shoe that looks cheap and stupid. I also did not get the same legged bottom under my stove like the model. They did not pay attention to detail. They sent out their warrantee guy to put on the 5" molding and then he attached another 1" tacky shoe to the bottom. Its no better than it was before. I did not get model cabinets, I got a faster, cheaper looking version. Its insanely frustrating. I am hoping to speak to the owners and well see how they handle my frustration.

Well, lo and behold! A couple of weeks after posting this review we were able to get our cabinets switched out. It wound up being before Christmas which was definitely a plus, not quite 9 months. Glad its over with, not sure it was worth the hassle. Doubt we would ever use them again. If there was a 1/2 star I would give it or lower. The original consult and install is a 4 star, but within a few days of moving in we noticed a design flaw with one of our appliances that creates a safety hazard, that Bret, the designer didnt pick up during design. None the less, 6 months ago I told them I would pay for the change. Design was delayed and as of this posting, there is no way the cabinet is going to be corrected before Christmas, 9 months after moving in. Nothing but the worst service with Mountain Crest!!!!

Mountain Crest did such an amazing job on our new home. Russ did a great job walking us through designs and colors to create a beautiful home. He came up with some great detailed designs for our home. He encouraged us to change some colors and switch up a bit from what we were originally thinking. We love how the changes turned out and appreciate his guidance. He treated us like a true consultant and was very professional. Our installer was amazing. He installed the whole house of cabinets in 2 days by himself and they look great. If you are looking for a custom cabinet design this is the place I would recommend. Very helpful and professional people and the cabinets are high quality.

Home by Design

My husband and I recently built a home in Davis County and, for the first time, used Mountain Crest Cabinets for our cabinetry. I have personally built several homes, for myself and others, and have generally had positive experiences. But I have to say that Mountain Crest Cabinets far exceeded my expectations. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, especially Russ. As the homeowner, and a designer, my ideas and preferences were respected and implemented. After gutting our kitchen, and waiting to receive our cabinets in two weeks, they finally returned our contractors phone calls. Theyre no longer interested in making our cabinets. It has been four weeks of washing our dishes in the bathroom sink and living off of microwave food. Now, it will be another six weeks, minimum, before well have our kitchen back. With two children and two working parents, this really, truly sux!

Russ was great. They went the extra mile on our cabinets. We had them installed and they did according to the plan. And we wanted the island moved 8" and the next day they moved it to coordinate with the counter tops and matched the island color to a chandelier . Great, local, family company. That and if you can make my wife HAPPY you are AMAZING . Will use them again if need be.

Mountain Crest Cabinets guarantees nothing but disappointment. There contractors were months late on a job, and when the homeowners confronted Russ about it they quit. Ive used them before, their cabinets look great, but so do many others without poor customer service, overcharging, and showing up late.
