Extra space storage is clean, well protected, and convenient. They seem to have made every effort to make the process easy. The one thing that annoyed me is that they require a few things that I did not find mentioned on the website that feel like they are attempting to nickel and dime you and not mention the cost up front. The first is that you are required to insure your items at a minimum cost of $10 a month. This significantly impacts the price of a smaller unit... thats as much as a third of the cost! And Id really prefer to just let my old teddy bears and random pieces of furniture burn in a fire than give you $10 more a month. The second is that you are required to provide your own lock. Its a storage facility that doesnt have its own locks. Huh. Otherwise, its a really nice place. Edit: After having not provided locks, they bothered the hell out of me about getting my own repeatedly over the next few days. It was a VERY busy time. It was going to be a few days. Anyway, after two days they called me that day at 4:30 and threatened to lock me out of my own unit if I didnt get a lock on by 6. Although the staff has been friendly, in a passive aggressive money-grubbing sort of way, the overall experience has been unpleasant.

Ive never rented a storage unit and was a little intimidated at first. Im so glad I chose Extra Space Storage because they have a very knowledgeable staff, the lowest prices and a very clean and secure facility. Jonathan, the manager, is so friendly and helpful! He was the reason I chose this place over any other. He set up a meeting for me to check out the storage space. When my husband and I arrived Jonathan showed us the grounds and the specific storage unit we would be renting. He was able to answer all of our questions and even showed us a larger storage unit. He was very professional and kind, we never felt pressured. My main concern was to have a climate controlled storage unit that was secure. After researching several storage facilities in PG I found that this place had the lower prices and best value. They offer a free move-in truck (all day use, but you have to pay for the gas you use) and they have seasonal specials. They are currently advertising a free first month or half off your first month depending on the unit. Seriously this place is 5 stars all around. Great people, location, PRICES, facility and security.

We needed a storage unit set up in June of 2014 just temporarily for 2 weeks while we waited for our home to close. Jonathan Hyde was the manager and he was INCREDIBLY helpful. He set us up with a large storage unit for FREE our first month, and he let us use the moving truck for FREE as well! Not only that, but when we had to move back out just 2 weeks later, he again let us use the moving truck for FREE! The only thing we paid for was gas on the truck and insurance on the unit. The grand total was less than $50! If I ever have need of a storage unit in the future, I will definitely be using this specific Extra Space Storage location, even though it is a bit out of the way from where we now live, just because Jonathan was so helpful, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. My only regret is that I cant give him 10 stars for his excellent customer service!

We had such an amazing experience at this storage facility. When we first moved our stuff in, we were coming from St. George and were behind schedule during our drive. The manager checked in with us periodically to see where we were at, and worked with us to get the paper work signed, even when we didnt make it before closing. Our unit was clean and the area was well lit. We loved having an indoor unit so that we could stay warm while we moved. The free carts and move in truck were extremely helpful and we were glad to be able to use them. Our move out process was wonderful as well. The staff was very friendly and personable, making the entire process as smooth as possible. We will definitely use Extra Space Storage in Pleasant Grove if we ever need a storage unit again.

My experience at Extra Space was phenomenal! From the moment I pulled in to the moment I pulled out I felt comfortable, informed, and important. When I pulled up the manager on site, Jonathan, was already at the door, he greeted me, and walked in with me. Although I havent gotten a storage unit yet, I wouldnt go anywhere else. He answered every question I had and made sure I understood and felt comfortable. He made me feel like I was all that mattered to him at that moment, was helping me get what I needed. I definitely would recommend anyone and everyone to come to the Extra Space in Pleasant Grove because of him alone. In addition to that, the office and the grounds were spotless and looked very nice! Very inviting. There wasnt anything that turned me off when I visited.

From the moment I entered the building, I was greeted with a genuine smile and a refreshingly honest desire to help me. Jonathan Hyde went above and beyond, assisting me on choosing an adequate storage unit, placing me in a better unit when his system refused to cooperate (at the same rate hed quoted on the original unit, no less) and he gave me a refund, without hesitation on a computer glitch in the rate applied. I felt like I was in the company of an old friend; not a stranger I had only-met moments, earlier. On every visit, I was made to feel like my business was the only thing that mattered, and - my satisfaction was a top priority, at every turn. Will I return to Extra Space Storage, in Pleasant Grove, Utah? In a New York second! Plus... hes drop dead handsome... JS

Exceeded all my expectations for dealing with storage services. Period. Most surprising was the value. I had to store everything for a month while waiting to switch houses, which meant essentially two full moves in a short period. The cost of a renting a U-haul truck alone, on two separate occasions, would have cost me more than the entire cost of my storage unit for two months -- and this facility offers free use of an excellent moving truck at my convenience, eliminating the cost and hassle of renting a separate truck. One bill, one location, all my needs covered. This one feature alone is justification for choosing these guys. The manager, Jonathan, is super friendly, making the entire process surprisingly pleasant. Cannot recommend strongly enough.

We recently moved to the area from Seattle. We needed temporary storage for our stuff until the house was completed. We found Extra Space in Pleasant Grove as it was close to our temporary housing until ours was done. The onsite manager, Jonathan, provides WORLD CLASS customer service! He knows his job and does it well. He helped us into two units, since we brought some stuff with us on a visit and then a large unit when we had a moving truck. He and Jeremy the assistant manager were always available for any questions or needs and they were very accommodating when I needed to leave the moving truck there overnight. Together, they made the moving experience a lot less stressful and I appreciated it very much!
