My boyfriend and I are new customers with Public Storage in Mesa after a horrible experience with a competitor left us with a bitter taste for storage facilities altogether.. believe me when I say, we are a hard sale. Anyway, I researched different facilities online to compare prices and with the discounted 1st month along with the web price for a 10x20 unit, Public Storage proved to be the most affordable so I made the reservation. When we arrived to the office, we were immediately greeted by Peggy who was already in mid rental process with another customer. She was polite and professional, working quickly and efficiently. When our turn came, Peggy started by escorting us to our new unit so we could make sure it suited our particular needs and it was perfect!! Back in the office, she finished up with everything quickly, taking great care to make sure that we were properly informed and that any questions we had were answered. So far, so good.. everything seemed to be going smoothly but now for the hard part.. the move in. Now, wed been in quite a tough situation that had ultimately ended with our belongings being stored in 4 different locations, so finally being able to consolidate meant also being at this facility from open to close until the job is done. With that being said, if there are problems, we are usually around to see them.. Well, I am happy to say that this facility is AMAZING!! The manager Kay stopped by to introduce herself the next day, she was awesome! She saw us working in the heat and brought us cold bottles of water, making it a point to drive by periodically to check on us. So, the staff is wonderful, the property is clean and organized with rows large enough to actually fit 2 vehicles.. its well lit, quiet and has security cameras so you can rest easy that your things are safe. All in all, I give Public Storage the absolute highest rating possible.. Thank you Kay and Peggy for putting forth so much effort to show your customers that you truly care. My only regret is not coming here sooner.

I just wanted to tell Gabby from Public Storage on Guadalupe and Alma School thank you so much for finding my phone and treating it as important as it is to me by making sure you got it back to me the owner bye doing everything you could to figure out who it was it belong to and notifying my family that you had found it. I had just got back from a family vacation in Boston Massachusetts and had so many nude pictures of of my two children having the time of their lives and being able to experience Fenway Park for the first time in their lives I was absolutely crushed I have spent three days looking for this phone and I all but given up so thank you Gabby because this was an experience I have been looking forward to for so long with my two children and it was just this last week that we went to the game in Boston. I cant begin to tell you how happy you made me thank you very much and thank you for caring I appreciate it your boss is need to know when they have a good employee who cares about public storages customers. Im sure many of you have experienced losing your wallet or your phone and find yourself saying please let someone find it that is an honest person and are feeling like itll never happen cuz I found myself saying s*** whoever finds it is going to take the money or take the phone make it theirs or whatever and then throw my wallet away or whatever so I just want Public Storage note and you Gabby that I am so happy that a good person found my phone. So to Public Storage management you have a good employee good employees are hard to find so I just wanted you to know that Gabby has a great employee and cares about your customers and she deserves a night out on the town or a bonus or something thanks Gaby have a good one

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Im interested to see how many good reviews this place has because I had a very opposite experience! I had my items in storage here for over a year. I paid for a full month of rent in February 2014, and was in the process of moving out. When I returned to get my last item, the office employee then told me that I was "moved out already". They literally moved me out, unwillingly and without my consent! I was not given any notice either. When the office employee called the district manager (Dave) to ask for a refund for the rest of February (I was willing to pay the prorated amount up to the point they scheduled a move out date for me). Dave refused to offer any sort of refund, and then proceeded to tell me that my item left in the unit will not be returned. If you want to pay a storage place, on time for over a year, then get a move out date scheduled for you, you not get notified, then have your belongings go missing, this is your place! I have sent a letter to corporate for their actions at this location. Unacceptable and a disgraceful way of doing business.

I visited your PS facility on Alma School recently and was extremely impressed by the superior customer service I received along with the cleanliness of the property. I was greeted by a young lady by the name of Kay, who was not only professional she took the time to explain things to me in detail, also suggesting additional items I might need to store my belongings. Im in the process of relocating to the Mesa area and have been searching for a clean place to store my things for a few months and it looks like I found the right place. If this is any indication as to how your other locations are run, then I do believe you have a WINNER here! I will be returning to AZ in about a month and plan on storing my things at this location. Im hoping that someone reads this and will give credit where credit is due. See you soon Florence Ozzella-Bifano

I reserved a unit online. Went to the place to get it. Supposed to be $23 to move in for 1st month. They told me I HAD to pay for THEIR insurance every month(min $11) and had to buy THEIR lock($17) or no deal. So actual move in was $56! Peggy said I had to buy their lock. I couldnt go back to my house(2Mi) and get my own. I said Id be right back. NO she said, she have to buy ours at our inflated price and you cant get any other insurance but OURS. I said there was nothing about insurance on the web site and I just checked again. There isnt! I dont need insurance I said but she said you have to buy ours or no deal. This company and this store are deceitful, BEWARE! And Peggy is not friendly in any way. I dont plan on staying long now.

I needed to store most of my worldly belongings for a few months and required a large storage room. I selected this location of Public Storage due to its highly economical pricing for interior climate controlled rooms, ease of contacting, superior customer service (Ive worked with Connie and she is wonderful!), security and cleanliness. My belongings were delivered by a national moving company in a 18-wheeler tractor/trailer and they were able to maneuver around the facility fairly easily and had no difficulties accessing my interior storage unit. A very good decision to use this location and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to securely and economically store belongings.
