I have an excellent experience here each time I visit, so does my wife. Staff is surprisingly quick, professional, and did what I needed. Not that a mens haircut should be difficult. I liked the way they make you feel. I asked them about a good product for styling. Told them my needs and expectations. The recommendation for a styling gel/wax was so amazing!!! I cant buy the other stuff I was using anymore. I got everything I asked for, had no idea there was such a product out there that did both. Will keep coming here. They have my personal recommendation. Any of the stylists will do. I dont have to play favorites to get the right cut unlike other places. Same type of quality as Supercuts. One stylist told it me that both Smartstyle and Supercuts are under the same company and NOT affiliated with Wal-Mart stores. It is worth the $15+tip I pay every 3-4 weeks. Check them out if you are tired of the same old hurry up and rush you out places with sub-par haircuts. Plus you can shop at Wal-Mart when done, unless you hate Wal-Mart.

Less than ideal experience at the Riverton, Utah Smartstyle this last Saturday. I had all three of my kids scheduled for hair appts; two for color/cut and one for just a cut. The manager was gone, and she had called in a substitute stylist, who knew NOTHING about our appts; she didnt even look at the schedule book. We ended up only doing one color/cut and my youngest childs cut. I was able to get an appt for my oldest child at a different salon, so I had to have my spouse come in and wait until my two younger kids were done. I didnt find out until later Saturday what a terrible job the stylist did! The color on my middle child was still in her hair! My middle child (who is 9) had to remind the stylist to cut her hair, and my youngest childs hair had areas that were not cut right! Not a good experience, and Ill be looking for my money back most likely.
