I highly recommend Acura as a brand and Jody Wilkinson Acura for that brand. We own two Acuras. Ive been a customer of Jody Wilkinson for ten (10) years. I brought our MDX in for an oil change. I get them for free for buying the car at Jody Wilkinson. Jodys son, Alex, worked with me. He told me that there was also a recall on an item and that it would take a bit longer than he expected. I settled down by the fireplace in the waiting room with my computer. The WiFi was very fast and I accessed it easily. It soon dawned on me that I should try to do my errands while the work was being done. I asked Alex if there were a loaner available. Before you could say "Jody Wilkinson Acura," I was in a brand new RDX making good use of my time. While I was running errands, Alex sent me a couple of texts. They normally call, but they have a very handy new texting system that made communication ridiculously simple. Alex called when the car was done and ready. (I missed the call, because I was racing back to Jody Wilkinson hoping my car would be done on time. It was. It was washed and dried. The work was performed and my car looked terrific. I should point out that our Acuras are not new. Jody Wilkinsons employees just always treat us like weve just bought a brand new Acura and like youre their best customer. Alex really went above and beyond the call of duty. For example, they have fresh cookies, other snacks, coffee, hot cocoa, water, and soft drinks. As I left with the RDX, and then left with my own car after the work was complete, Alex asked if he could get me any drinks or treats. He also met me in the parking lot with my key so that I didnt even have to run back into the building. Jody Wilkinson Acura offers exemplary service. If you dont have an Acura, you should, and you should get it from Jody.

First of all, I dont really care for dealerships. Pushy salesmen, overpriced product, poor service... None of this is the case with Jody Wilkinsons dealership. My first experience with Andy when I bought by TL was wonderful. No pushy salesman business. Being the frugal sometimes "cheapskate" person that I am, I bargained what I felt was a good price, then asked for a few little parts and pieces. They were mailed to me within a few days after purchasing the vehicle. My next encounter was when I took the car in for warranty repair. I live 4 hours away, so I scheduled everything ahead of time. I also scheduled some aftermarket accessory work to be done first nearby. That company (terrible experience) didnt get the work done until the next day. Jody really rescued me here, giving me a loaner car overnight (for free) Alex and Michelle in service kept me calm, I almost felt like I was with a counselor. During my wait, I had starbucks coffee, fresh fruit, and snacks. I also was able to set up my "office" and use wifi, and even their fax machine. We even went and test drove some SUVs. Andy wasnt available, so Mike stepped in and let us take a drive. Jodys team worked around the missed appointment, and got the car in right away the next morning. The work was completed by noon. The car was cleaned inside & out, and ready to go. I grabbed another cup of starbucks on my way out, and left with a smile on my face. Its not likely that I wont buy my next vehicle here (probably one of the SUVs we test drove). Apart from getting great treatment at Jody, we spent our day test driving the competitions SUVs, of which the Acura was superior.

I have driven luxury cars before, so I know what to expect, especially when you by a car for 60+K. I went to Jody’s only because they had the trim I wanted. I traded my BMW, and I think it was Jody’s daughter, Rachel, who said my car was worth less than what others had said and gave me less for my trade in, and now I see how much they listed that car for. I admit partly it was my fault, but none the less. Second, she made a comment when we were there something like “we would not give keys to a 60 thousand car to anyone else”, I thought that was offensive, because I would not have walked into the dealership if I could not afford one and I was already pre-approved, she knew that. And the final blow, I got a rock chip, on my windshield, and the service guy told me to go and get it fixed from ABRA. I found out that Mike Hales, actually would take care of small issues like this, and even if they don’t have a certified person to work on, they will call third party service providers like ABRA or SAFELIGHT into the dealership and fix it. So I am not at all impressed with service that I have received from this dealership. They have given me a free oil change as long as I own the car, honestly I would rather pay 100$ then to go get my free oil change and deal with them. I will probably buy an Acura later on, car is amazing, but not from Jody that is for sure.

The worst dealership experiences Ive ever had. I purchased an Acura TL 7 months ago, I paid extra to have it legally tinted and had to wait an additional 3 days. After picking up the car I received a phone call a few days later stating that they had forgotten to do the safety and emissions testing so I had to bring the car back. They then failed the car saying the front tint was too dark and had too keep the car another 3 days to remove and replace the front tint. When I picked it up the second time the tan interior had scuff marks from the service teams shoes covering the interior door and the speaker, all of the tire stem caps were missing and somehow they had left the rear right tire almost flat yet sent me to drive home like this. 7 months go by and based off the mileage it was time for an oil change(supposedly free), I had a long trip planned and wanted it changed prior. After bringing it in I was told that I had at least 2000 miles to go before the oil change was due?!? Well 250 miles into my trip the Oil Change notification came on, I called Jodi Wilkinson and was told that I would have to take it to a Honda dealership and pay for the oil change which is what I had tried to avoid. I love my Acura but will NEVER buy from Jodi Wilkinson again. All of my dealings have been extremely frustrating.

My experience with Jody Wilkinson was horrible! I went in because I heard a chirping sound in the engine of my MDX. $1400 later, that was fixed, but they said there was a different sound coming from the engine caused by using mid-grade gasoline. I have always used mid-grade gasoline, but had never heard that strange sound coming from my engine. The noise continued until I reached my home, but eventually stopped the next day. In the mean time, much to my dismay, the car started leaking oil on my garage floor. Up until this point, my MDX had NEVER leaked oil. A couple of days after having the car worked on, my husband noticed the big oil puddle when I had taken the car to run errands. I called Jody Wilkinson and brought the car back in the next day to have them see what was going on. They said that there was a leak in a seal and that the leaking had been going on for a very long time. AND that it would cost $1500 to fix it!!! Unbelievable!! When I told them that we had experienced no issues with oil leaking in the garage previously, they acted like I was lying to them. I hated being treated like I am just some jerk who wants to get some free work done. Sincerely, we had experienced no leaking issues at all until after they did the original work. This has all been a horrible experience!
