I took my mothers grand Prix into here for an oil change. First off I should say Im actually from out or town and Im a Manager at an Quick Lube shop in Michigan. Only reason that I did not change is because I was in town for a funeral and more convenient to have it done. The price was great 4.5 qt of "synthetic blend" which all bulk oil these days are synthetic blend these days. When a shop tells you their "cheap" oil is synthetic blend and your not paying 40-50 dollars its BULK OIL! The "Synthetic Blend" is nothing like a Pennziol Gold, or Valvoline Durabelnd. Its BULK OIL! but enough on that my moms car has been services regularly by a licensed ASE Master tech every 3000 miles if not earlier. I have all records to prove. Vehicle was 200 miles overdue from last oil change...Which i might add was only 2800 and the sales man attempted to sell me an engine flush. I went and looked and oil was not very dirty, and no sludge on dipstick. Then proceeded to tell me that @ 35000 miles my and may I quote "Sir your brake fluid is dirty and needs to be flushed" So I walked over to the car in she shop, pulled brake reservoir cap off and it was crystal clean. I run my shop as a HONEST shop and its shops like this that put a bad name for the lube industry...I understand that "up sells" are what make the company money, but there are honest ways to make up sells. I have been in the industry for over 15 years and have loyal followers that will drive for 40-50 miles just to see me because I am Honest. You guys are a new clean, and loved how your shop looked. Its not too late to change habits and trust me honesty will win you comeback customers, most for life. My shop has been open for 24 years and I have customers that have vehicles that we have been changing oil/servicing for 210,000 miles and up.

DISHONEST!!! Will lie to you in order to get more business! I highly suggest going somewhere else. Went there for my last oil change because my husband has had his car in there for oil changes regularly (close to his work). they up-sold me to inform me some belts supposedly needed to be changed. I bypassed calling my husband about it (he knows a lot about cars) because he was very busy at work and I decided Id save him the time of fixing it at home. For the extra $200 or so the belts were "fixed" after waiting about an hour and a half with my 3month old son at the time. About two weeks later it starts squeaking worse than before. And when my husband finally had the time to take it in (I was NOT waiting an hour again with my son), they said it was the alternator (and of course asked if wed like them to replace it $$$) - My husband is smarter than their up-sell game so we diagnosed through Auto Zone and it was NOT the problem. I HATE being up-sold for things that are not legitimately needed. Money is tight, and we cant even tell whether or not they actually replaced the belts they said they did. I will NOT be returning for ANYthing with these people, not even an oil change. I dont care how "Cheap" it is.. I am HIGHLY dissatisfied with my experiences here. I understand that up-sells are to make your business more money, but be HONEST about it... UGH!! As an update: My husband just fixed the problem in TEN minutes in the freezing temps outside by himself, with no problems.

THE most terrible service i have ever gotten. my car runs and starts great but it was time for an oil change, so i went in for a basic oil change and nothing more! while they were doing the oil change my car alarm starts going off and they call me in because they cant figure out how to turn it off, well i couldnt get it to turn off either, on top of that my car wouldnt start for them. the tech working on my car disconnected my battery to turn the alarm off, and said my battery was bad, he also tried to say my starter was bad and the cable from the starter to the battery had gone bad....WHAT?! all of this had worked fine just before i went in there, and i have never had a problem starting my car or with the battery. they pushed my car out into the parking lot WITHOUT even putting anything back together and expected me to pay $145.00 for a now non running car! I went into that place with a car that ran just fine and had to leave by being towed to another place to work on my car because i wasnt letting them work on my car anymore. They would not take any responsibility for breaking anything on my car and i had to pay the full amount of the bill. I will NEVER return to this place for service and i warn you to never go there as well. A bunch of dishonest crooks!

I took my truck today to get a Oil change and top of the fluids, the costumer service was really nice. Afterwards I was taking my truck to get a car wash, and read the receipt they gave me. It said "CAP MISSING PRIOR TO SERVICE" first thing that went through my head is my hub cap for my tire, but decided to check my caps, and My power steering fluid cap was missing. Which I know 110% for sure was there cause that same morning before I took the truck to get the oil change, I check the oil to see how long it had left and there were all the caps still. So i went to try to buy one from Autozone, Oreillys, & Nissan but they were all out, So i went back to the place see if they can check if they misplace it somewhere, but instead of checking they jump on me, letting me know thats not the place they run and went and got another person to come and scream at me. Honestly never going there again, it might be cheap but not worth all of that, would not recommended it to anyone. Ended up going to a pick & pull to get a new cap. The thing that pissed me off the most is that they didnt even tell me about the cap, if I wouldnt have read the receipt who know how far I would of drove before I notice, and could of end up doing damage to my vehicle.

I have used Precision Tune for about 8 years. I used to go to the one in Murray, but then I moved closer to the one in SLC, and now live in WVC. So Ive tried Murray, SLC, and the Kearns locations. I used to love these people. Now I simply cannot trust them. I dont know if ownership changed, or just the morals of the company have changed. I never had a leak in my Town and Country. Since the Kearns shop did my oil change, theres oil all over my driveway. I thought maybe this was a Kearns issue. So I took my 4Runner to the SLC store, where I had previously been satisfied. While waiting for my oil change, two people came in complaining about oil leaks since Precision Tune worked on their car. And insult to injury, the tech took me out to the garage to show me all the play that my front end had. Interestingly, both sides had the exact same amount play. That is extremely rare. This vehicle passed inspection 150 miles back. NOTHING was wrong. Now, theres play. And evidence that the bolts have been played with. Im sure the mechanic loosened my suspension to get me on an up-sell job. Ill never trust these shops again.
