I would recommend this place over any Honda dealer or place that takes care of Hondas! The owner Tate is very easy to speak with even when you are frustrated with your car problems. My first experience was last week of March 2017 left a voice message and just as this place message says they call you same day/early evening! Tate trouble shoots and gathers everything he can to help in scheduling. Though they are not open on Saturdays and as a single female makes it more challenging to leave car, but well worth the care! All of my passenger windows on my 2006 Honda 4 cyclinder 4 door LX car were not working. They ran a thorough diagnostic on it and found issue driver main switch replaced and total came under estimate given on phone. But then left and next day when needed to arm car it was not working knowing battery on key was replaced a month ago. So Tate troubleshooter w me on phone again and said just bring it in next day and we will look at it again no matter what is on our plate. They looked at it and for some reason still no real answer but the alarm reset itself to not work after windows were reset and done. Easy second fix resetting alarm and the two alarms on keys. They did not charge and were happy they could take care of it. Tate even said if they do anything electrical on this model they will make sure the alarm part though not really tied together is checked out as well! Tate and his crew really care and want to offer the best possible service and pricing! Thank you all as I know where to go if anything major happens again! God bless and may your company keep being successful so you can help others! Warmest regards, Joann Zannoni

Tait, owner of Hon-Man, has worked on my 92 Prelude since 2003 and continuous to offer his expert advice and diagnosis 8 years later even though I no longer live in AZ. Today is the perfect example. I’ve been having trouble getting the Prelude started and was quoted a $435 replacement for the Ignition Coil at a local shop here in Huntington Beach, CA. Though I trust the recommendations for this local shop, I still felt I needed to get Tait’s input. It wasn’t 5 minutes into the call that Tait said “It’s your Main Relay and it should only cost you $120, on top of that even if it was your Ignition Coil that should only cost $250, but it is the Main Relay I’m sure of it.” I called the local shop immediately to ask them to hold off on the repair. When the mechanic got on the phone the first thing he did was apologize and say they misdiagnosed the problem, it is actually the Main Relay, not the Ignition Coil. They wanted to charge $100 more than what Tait, quoted me so I mentioned I was getting lower quotes and they matched the price. Besides the excellence service and integrity that Hon-Man Auto Care stands by, more than anything I think the most impressive piece to this story is that this LOCAL shop had my car in their hands, I was there when they witnessed the start-up fail, yet they still misdiagnosed it. Tait, in ARIZONA, accurately diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes over a phone call where I just explained what I was experiencing. There are no doubts when it comes to Tait and Hon-Man Auto Care. The only thing I must warn you of, is if you ever move out of Arizona, you will surely miss Tait and his excellent care.

I had a honda civic previously that needed CV Joints - I called about 6 companies and Honman came in at 1/3rd of the price compared to all the other repair shops. Its rare to find an honest, hard working and reliable repair shop. I have called several times and they were able to save me money by mentioning alternatives for cheaper repair, mentioning something isnt urgent or explaining how to fix simple things on my own. Its unheard of to find honest businesses these days, but HonMan goes above and beyond in this day and age. I just wish they worked on other cars since we dont only have Hondas. If you dont want to get taken for a ride and just want to fix your ride, go with HonMan auto in my opinion.

Love Hon-man, they make maintenance on my car a hassle free process. I set up oil changes/checkup online and wait around an hour in the shop on free wifi and everything is all good! They keep me posted of any out of the ordinary fixes they see in the future so I can see them coming and budget for them, and theyve never hit me with unexpected costs. Ive lost a proprietary bolt to fasten down my battery before and when they noticed, they looked up the part ($93) and recommended I go buy a hose clamp for $3 instead to hold it down. Great, honest shop and Im sad to think Ill have to search hard a comparable shop if I ever move or dont own a Honda.

Tate and his crew are hands down, the BEST Honda/Acura mechanics Ive ever encountered. My 01 Prelude has been serviced at Hon-Man for many many years. Ever since my cars warranty expired. He never tries to get you to get services you dont need. If anything, he talks me out of doing too much! Yes, it costs a little money to maintain any car, but if youre a Honda/Acura owner, then you cant go wrong with the top quality service they provide. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that I truly have full trust and faith in Tates work and his employees. I only wish he were located in Kansas City because Im moving there unfortunately.

I found Taite by accident and am very satisfied with his work. Back in the day I did some wrenching my self so I can can say that Taite is honest, knows what he is talking about (especially on the Acura Honda line of automaobiles). He will fix it right the first time, and true to his nature if you are a regular/returning customer he wil not hesitate to throw in a little freebie here and there. Taite will not up sell, and if you dont need something done he will let you know. If you own and Acura or Honda and live over by ASU in Tempe, Taite is the man to take it to when it needs servicing.

Ive taken a couple of cars to Hon-Man, and have been generally pleased with the service. The last time in there, he called and said I needed my cabin filter replaced. I went ahead and authorized it for the price of about 80-plus bucks. When I got the car home, I realized that its a pretty easy job, and that the filter can be bought for under $20. No huge deal...a guy has to make a living. I trust him with the repairs that I cant do...but in the future, Ill make sure its something that I cant do before taking it in. Overall...its a commendable shop. Not sleazy or run down at all.

I wish they were in my hometown, but I found them online while vacationing in Phoenix... from my experience, all the rave is true. Tait was able to work me into their already busy schedule and get my 2003 Honda Element with over 1/4 million miles now... back on the road and running like new for $125.00 Less than half the price of another shop I had called for a valve adjustment. Not only was the cost lower, but the service was top notch. I would recommend this shop to anyone and wish them success with their new shop in Flagstaff as well. Thanks guys!
