My car did not receive care from this establishment. I have been wronged not once but twice and Im finally writing this review out of frustration of passing by and seeing how advertise Desert Car is. I participate in the chamber of commerce and I strive to use local businesses to better chandler as well as other cities, I feel the owner of this business does not have the best interest for his customers. Not ever meeting Frank but being referred to Desert Car Care per business reference not once but twice both experiences I would love to explain in great detail. A long story short my vehicle did not get repaired in the timeframe that couldve been appropriate for any consumer coming in and getting a vehicle repaired. Not to mention the feeling of guilt because I stood up for myself. Based on my response to how I was treated I felt Frank reply to me in the most aggressive way, and then ignored me when I came to pick up my vehicle to take it to another shop. In that instant I ask for my vehicle back in order to get a repair. The reason was for work and Frank did not, "like that I was leading him along" to take my repaired to another shop. Let me break it down here for a second... 1st time I had my starter replace from DCC. I returned it 4 times to have the repair completed, which it was never completed and then was decided dead by a friend. As of desert car care and their repair if it fix my vehicle I was not please Paid for that. 2nd time I was going to buy a new car and sell the old one, I was referred by another friend to make sure the car was completely dead. I explain my previous experiences and hardships and I was told that I would be taken care of. Joan is great! The mechanics working here were wonderful to work with. Unfortunately when it came to paying the bill and when I drove away I was never satisfied. I tell my kids hate is a very strong word, but I can honestly say that I definitely hate seeing Desert Car Care all around Chandler to know how I was treated. And most of all Frank you never treated me like a friend and I never felt I got a true apology. But its just business right.

So the reason that I picked this place is because of the reviews I read on Google before I went there. Everything seemed to be great so I decided to go to them for an oil change. First of all the Owner was the one in the office and he was EXCELLENT. He acted like when I came in there he had known me for years. As for him, he was AWESOME, however once he left it kinda when down hill from there. I told them that I wanted an oil change, asked them if they could check the breaks because they were squeaking, and that there was a rattle on the passenger side in the car. The got the oil changed just fine, they came back and said that my air filter was filthy and needed replaced for around $15 dollars which was fine. Then he said they breaks were fine and they didnt needed to be replaced however the rear breaks were out of alignment and they needed to be re-aligned and that would be about $40 dollars. I didnt know what that meant and I asked him what he meant by that, I didnt get an explanation. All he said that will even the breaks out and take care of the squeaking noise and that was all which at the time was great for me because that is what I wanted fixed. Well my total bill for an oil change, air filter, my rear breaks re-aligned was about $95 dollars. Once I drove my car off the lot, the rattle in the car on the passenger side was still there and they told me nothing about looking at that. Also, the breaks were still squeaking if not worse then before. In essence it seems like I paid $95 dollars for an oil change. I just didnt understand after reading all the good things about this place why I had to experience that I did. I was trying to find a family and locally owned car shop that you would great wonderful and honest service and I thought after reading all the reviews thats exactly what the place was but it didnt seem like it then. I wish I didnt and wish it would have been better for me!

I came to Desert Care Care with an older truck (2001) and a stubborn Check Engine Light (CEL). I could not get the truck to pass the emissions test, no matter how hard it studied. What started as a seemingly straight forward repair turned into quite the odyssey. After many repairs and many friendly visits when the CEL just wouldnt stay off, Frank and his team took complete ownership of the situation and made sure, no matter what, that it would be fixed, and fixed right. After many laborious hours, through sweat and frustration, they came through and resolved the issue! The team went the extra distance and even took the truck through the inspection for me to guarantee it would pass. And pass it did! Although normally one may not want to spend their time in the repair shop, I know Ill find myself missing regularly talking to Susie, Joan, Frank, and the rest of the crew at Desert Car Care. I know I have a home away from home for my truck, no matter how big or how small a repair might be. I know, and you will too, that this is a place that cares not only about your vehicle, they care about you the person. And that is something that is becoming a rarity in this world. I actually cant wait for my next scheduled maintenance so I can get to see everyone. I know my truck will have a better life now that I have a place that will treat my vehicle like it was their own. I can never say thank you enough for all the work that was done and for the hospitality I received.

I have been coming to Desert Cat Care since Frank opened the shop 10 years ago. They have serviced and repaired both my personal vehicles and my company vehicles in the past. Words can not even explain how awesome this place is, but here goes: The technicians are fantastic and go out of their way to say hi and explain anything I have questions about. Brian and Micky work the front, They are not simply just Car Care Specialists, they have become friends of mine. Their knowledge of automobiles is outstanding. When they are not quite sure of something, they research it until they know the answer. Frank has sponsored my Chandler National Little League teams every year for 6 years now. I have told countless people whose kids I have coached about Desert Car Care and more than a dozen of those players parents have gone ahead and taken their cars in over the years. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has called me to thank me for turning them on to Desert Car Care Chandler. These folks run the most honest, dedicated and responsible vehicle service center I have ever been associated with in my 55 years of life. I would freak if I ever had to use some place else! If you take your car someplace else, you are doing yourself a disservice. Give them a shot, I guarantee you will be giving Desert Car Care Chandler FIVE STARS too!!!!! Pooch
