My computer was having some slight issues with running slower than usual. I was unsure as to what the problem could be. I took it into their shop, not knowing how long it would take for them to figure out the problem or how much it would ultimately cost for me to have my computer repaired. As soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted by an older gentleman who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He asked me some basic questions as to what was going on and proceeded to ask if I was willing to leave my computer with him for the day. He had one of his techs come out and I also explained to him what was going on. They were both very polite and professional. After reviewing all the problems with my now slowwwwww running computer, I agreed to leave it with them for the day. They told me that it would only cost $49 to have them look into what the problem was. I felt that was a great price considering I do not know much about computers and I would not know where to begin to try and fix it myself. I returned the following day after work expecting them to tell me I would need to buy a bunch of new parts (or even an entire computer) and instead I was pleasantly surprised with "We fixed the problem, and your computer is running smoothly again!!!" They then gave me a detailed description (which still did not make much sense to me) about what was going on and how they fixed it. I then asked what else I owed them for the fix and they said nothing! The $49 fee covered everything! I was so happy with my experience with this shop and would EASILY refer anyone to the Computer Hospital. They even cleaned my computer for me as it was very dusty! Thanks again for the great customer satisfaction and the timely work on getting the problem fixed. It has been over 5 days and my computer is running better than ever!!!

Expedient, competent, and great prices - I will use Computer Hospital again, if needed. The rest of what follows are just details of my experience. I moved to Sandy from Post Falls, ID in Aug. 2013. My custom built desktop was DOA after Bekins delivered it. The symptom seemed to be a dead power supply and I suspected that I would be required to purchase a new one. In reality the power harness had just shaken loose during the move and all it needed was for the power harness on the power supply to be reseated. The diagnosis and fix was very expedient. The tech also noticed that my system was slow with traditional hard drives and recommended a SSD to improve performance. I actually already knew this, but SSD technology was quite expensive when I originally built the system in Post Falls, ID. SSD prices have drastically come down in the last few years. The Computer Hospital tech priced a very nice 1 TB SSD, ordered it, and when it finally arrived, he was able to ghost my old system hard drive to the new SSD and make that SSD my new boot drive in the same day. Again, very expedient and competent. I also liked that the tech always gives full disclosure of how and why he provides the solutions in the way he does. These guys were definitely competent at diagnosis for my custom built desktop. The performance enhancement was a great recommendation and was mostly just a matter of how much I was willing to spend on a new SSD. Computer Hospital is also great at estimating cost, delivering on schedule, and the cost for service is pretty reasonable. I will definitely return to Computer Hospital here in Sandy for my future PC or laptop repair needs.

WOW! John and his team are simply amazing. My poor little 80-year-old mom and her young grandson were in a real bind with a non-functioning lap top filled with my nephews school work. They were desperate. After visiting 4 other stores, 2 independents, and two big names, they were confused, upset and didn’t know where to turn or who to trust. The services offered by others ranged from $200-$300 and weeks without the much needed computer. I felt helpless to try to do anything from Denver, Colorado. I am so blessed to have googled “computer repair” in Utah and found John on the other end of the phone line well after business hours. He promised to take care of them and the next day I got a tearful call from my sweet mom. John and his team diagnosed the problem sent them to get a simple battery and didn’t take a dime for their time or service. In a day and age where the most important component of doing business is marketplace trust – I will say – no matter what you need repair, replacement, upgrade, or custom computer design, having someone this honest, hardworking and service oriented in your neighborhood or market is worth its weight in gold. This is a company you can really trust. I’d highly recommend them to anyone for any kind of computer need. It is where we will go anytime we need service and when we are ready to buy new computers. Thank you John and Cameron!!

About a month ago my laptop was overheating so I took it in for repair at the Computer Hospital in Sandy. The employee was very knowledgable about computers. I liked how they were able to take a look at it right away and tell me the problem. They ordered a new fan which came in quickly and also cleaned out all the dust from my laptop while they were at it. I was also very happy to find out they cleaned viruses up which I didnt know were on my computer and installed a free anti-virus program for me. The customer service was amazing! They went above and beyond to help me out! I was so happy with them that I recently decided to purchase a computer from them when my husband wanted a new desktop computer. They were so helpful with assiting me in deciding parts to customize my computer just for my needs. The prices for the parts were extremely reasonable... I was very impressed with their honesty and pricing. I ordered a really huge video card (for gaming) and one of the cords ended up not being long enough, so at no extra charge they rushed in an order for the part to extend the cord! This is a wonderful company! I will never buy or repair my computers from anywhere but the Computer Hospital!

I own a HP desk top and we really like it but like all PC from time to time they start to run slow one day it got the FBI virus and that was all she wrote I unplug it and took it to Computer Hospital here in sandy Utah. I talked to the owner of the company and he assured me that they could get my computer back to where it was when it was new and virus free. I told him about my concerns about what we had on the computer and he told me that everything is going to be back to normal I also told him about the virus protection that we already had on the computer he told me that he could put on something better and it was FREE and to me free is always good. They completely swiped my computer and reinstalled everything like they promised and all for a small fee of $80.04 for the worked they did it was well worth it sense then my computer has been back to normal its faster and it is virus free. Most companys for this type work that needed to be on our computer is anywhere from 150 bucks to 2 or 300 hundred Computer Hospital is fast a good they had mine for one day and I recommend them to anyone that is looking for honest work on there computer thanks guys still running great.
