So horrible what happened at this daycare! I work with kids and honestly have a hard time picturing how such a tragic accident could happen under the care of someone being responsible. .but this review is not regarding any of that. After hearing this tragic story, I went to this schools website and was overly shocked at how horribly the website was written! Grammatical errors, broken english..literally using the wrong words, such as "exam" for examine and "conveince" for convenience! Even nurturing was spelled wrong!! All while attempting to communicate that they educate kids! I dont understand why any parent would allow their child to be in the care of individuals who cant even pay close attention to the accuracy of their own website; the website that parents (should) read prior to instilling confidence in their care. Is this daycare really that lazy or do they actually think the website copy is correct, or sufficient?!?! Is this the level of "attention" they claim to provide on their website? Either way...parents!!! Pay close attention to anyone you leave your child with! Research them, the facility, whether they have had infractions, and if so, what for - BEFORE - leaving your child in their care. I cant imagine any parent trusting these individuals if they did even basic research on their website prior to signing their kid up. I would be overly suspicious of any company that didnt understand the importance of their image in the public eye (website). As in, if you claim you are going to educate children and keep them safe, you should probably be educated yourself..or at least understand how bad you look when you dont take the time to spell check or read what you wrote on your own marketing attempts. It makes me wonder what else they dont pay close attention to. Seriously! I truly thought the website was a joke it was so bad! Am I the only one who noticed this? Conveniently, they have removed their website in the last hour or so. People that have nothing to hide and have made honest mistakes dont, well, hide. I hope these "teachers" will not be "teaching" anymore.

Worst daycare ever!!!! I have worked in daycares for 12 yrs. This being the first time I have ever had to be on the opposite side. Sure they had availability when I called last min to get my 7yr old and 2 yr old spots. I had heard in all the years working that this daycare was a good one and that the teachers were excellent so I thought I was picking the right daycare! when I registered my kids they did not inform me what my 2 yr old needed, sure I know but still they did not tell me. After a week my 2yr old did not have a cubby or a place to put his coat and when I did pick him up his coat was always stuffed in another childs cubby or another childs coat was placed over his on a hook.HELLO! thats how Lice is spread!!!! then he had NO art box and had no art or anything that they had done for the day i.e. shapes, colors or anything physical that showed that they are "teaching" him anything. When I asked why this hasnt been done I was reassured by the director that it would soon be done. Several days later it was not done and when I asked the "teacher" she said that they take them outside for most of they day because that is what they like. Then after 3 days there they had a pink eye out break and was not posted in the classroom or anyplace that would have been noticeable. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! what are you doing with my kid???? More than once I would drop him off and the morning teacher was way over ratios! seriously!!! Then my 7yr old told me that she was forced to watch tv several times a day! the last straw was when I went to pick up my kids and heard the teacher that she was going to smack a child across the face. Seriously this is not the daycare you want your children in!

I have NOT ever had my child in a daycare. But hearing about what happend to that little boy breaks my heart for the family and anyone else that has their children their. What I really dont get is if all the children were getting taken care of right. When the lady sat down to do stories, Why was there NO head count getting done? Whether a child is in the bathroom or hiding, its the responsiblity of the adult to make sure all kids are counted for or where the child is at. So I guess this lady didnt care where the little boy was? And why didnt she notice he was gone? I mean this is just saying to me they dont keep track of the kids at this day care, clearly they dont.. I mean the poor innocent child was under a bean bag and got sat on.. First of all the lady should have been looking for the boy before she sat her fat ass down on the bean bag..(sorry for swearing). But this is something that didnt need to happen if people were in control of the situation of their job and keeping track of all kids at all times.. Instead of sitting on the child.. Really makes me sick..

Fantastic! I absolutely love the WJCC! Weve had so many bad experiences with Child Care and finding these guys is an absolute god send! They are always on top of the children, and know who has been up to what whenever asked. They are very knowledgeable about each child under their care. Ive had my worries when other family has had to step in and pick up my child, but they are fantastic about making sure he is safe and going to the right person, and can even give a full report to other family members about what the day was like for my child. Ive never had an experience with diapers being too full, or clothes being stained or messy, and certainly never had a bad experience with the staff. Theyre absolutely wonderful and so attentive! Since starting going to WJCC my child has learned numbers, shapes, colors, the alphabet and so many childrens songs and games! It never ceases to amaze me the amount of new and fun things he learns and is able to do while at Day care! I would recommend this place to ANYONE who needs it! They are truly the best!

absolutely love love west jordan child care! . the staff is awesome and friendly! the teachers love and take care of my kids as of they were their own. never have had a real problem . they are always understanding with the financial side of things allowing you some time to make the full payment.my kids have been going there since august of 2013 and all the learning and growing my daughter has done amazes me! not to mention they helped potty train without there help i dont think it would have been so sucessfull so fast. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!

Working in a daycare myself as a two year old teacher Im absolutely sickened! 1 - there shouldnt be any bean bags in that young of class 2- they should only have 4 babies with one teacher 3 - how could you not feel him under it? 4- why wasnt she keeping count - I count my kids two to three times every 30 min Im constantly counting BECAUSE they are MY responsibility to make sure they dont get hurt or lost.... My heart goes out to this family he looks like a very sweet beautiful little boy. This is to heart wrenching and horrible.
