I had left my laptop for a free estimate based on the other outstanding reviews. My experience was not nearly as good. They called me a day later with a $125 estimate; however, he didnt know what the issue was. I politely declined, as a good friend of mine out of state is a computer technician. The owner was rude and arrogant when I went to pick up the computer. When my friend received it, he let me know the computer was missing its internal memory card and mouse transceiver. The Lapfix technicians left out parts of my laptop when they reassembled my laptop to return it to me. I wont trust them in the future for any estimates or repairs. 8-19-15: I would like to amend my previous review, as the owner was nice enough to call and discuss grievance with me. It turns out the above was just a misunderstanding. My missing parts were just a mistake. Im sure the shop was busy at the time. If I were to have the need in the future, I would give it another try based on the owners integrity.

So they had my laptop for like a month and some change. They diagnosed the problem and told me they would need to order a part to fix it and I said sure ok...they took 75 dollars off due to the length of time they had it. I go in and pick it up when I was able to and noticed the adapter cord to my laptop looked unfamiliar. IT WASNT MINE!! The guy tried to argue me down and said it was what I gave them. It was a generic charger he was giving me.....my laptop came with the original charger. I dont know wether to be upset because he gave me a generic cord or let it go because he gave me 75 dollars off. Then he tells me that I should get the original charger rather than the generic....GO FIGURE!!

I am so glad I found Lapfix! After searching several places across DC and Virginia that wanted to charge high fees just to diagnose the laptop problem, I found this place which came highly recommended by another reputable computer repair service. Apparently, that computer repair service sends all laptop issues to LapFix since they specialize in fixing laptops. I was so happy to hear that LapFix had experience with my particular laptop model, and fixed it without any issues. High quality, friendly, professional, and efficient service. I highly recommend LapFIx and will come back for any future laptop repairs I might need in the future.

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, I would NEVER send any work of any kind to LAPFIX again or otherwise utilize any services of its apparent owner MR. KARIM HUSSEN under any circumstances. The Police were involved upon my picking up my laptop. This was truly the worst experience of my life dealing with any Vendor anywhere at anytime. IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, if nightmares sound like something you wish to experience for yourself - then proceed as you will to give them your business. IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, I would NOT RECOMMEND Lapfix or the aforementioned individuals services to anyone, anywhere, at any time.

They were able to quickly diagnose and fix what was wrong with the Laptop, which was pretty amazing since the manufacture was clueless on what was wrong. Considering it was less than a year old, we were very unhappy with the purchase. We took it here and they immediately knew what was wrong with it and fixed it for under $100. We were shocked.... the most pleasant of ways. Weve had the laptop fixed now for a couple of months and have had no issues.

The best computer repair shop that you will get in DC area. Cheaper than any other vendors, reliable and they take good care of your problems.I had my computer repaired for a windows re-installation and data back up after the system somehow became corrupt and would just not boot into windows. The owner is friendly and I am certain that you will be satisfied with the type of job that will be done.

After HP support wasted a lot of my time and was not able to fix my computer I took it to Lapfix and they diagnosed the problem within 24 hrs., as promised, and fixed the problem with minimum cost. They were very prompt, honest, courteous and professional. They dont ask for any fees upfront and they do not charge you if they dont fix the problem. I highly recommend them.
