User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars by Dave 10/06/2011 First Choice? I doubt it...Worst Choice Body Shop would be a much more appropriate name for these losers! This is the worst repair experience of my entire life. First, I should have known better, since this place is a toal dump! First Choice took 28 days to repair a dented hood on my brand new BMW 335d that cost $57,000 just 2 months ago. A lady put her car in reverse instead of drive to pull away at a drive through, and backed right into my new car. I contacted Worst Choice a week in advance and made arrangements for Worst Choice to order a new hood, grill, and bumber in advance of dropping the car off based on their indication it would take them less time to complete the repairs. Less time than what I am now wondering? If you can even believe it is possible, the repair took them 4 full weeks! That is right, 28 days to repair a dented hood, scratched grill, and scratched bumber. So now when I go to pick it up I expect it should really look nice, right? It looked terrible! There were swirl marks and scratches all over the hood, and all over the fender, and the fender was never even damaged prior to bringing it to Worst Choice Auto Body. Thats right, they damaged the fender! During the time First Choice had my car a scratch appeared on my front fender. When I went to get my car the first time I see this scratch that was never there before (the car was only 1 month old and was still perfect), and of course they immediately deny they were responsible. Of course I have pictures to show the fender was perfect, but I need it repaired now so the ladys insurance company agrees for them to repair the fender too. When I pick the car up 2 weeks after finding the scratch (4 weeks total time for repair), now the entire hood and fender look like you hired a 12 year old to buff your car with a sander! Swirls and scratches are everywhere all over my new BMW! Of course I ask them to look at it, and they say it is normal! They say expecting not to see swirl marks and scartches all over the hood and fender are expecting too much! On a brand new $57,000 BMW! Ray tells me no one can ever duplicate the factory finish, and swirl marks are normal. These are not just hazy swirl marks mind you, these are fine rotary scratches, all over the the hood and fender. And the paint job on the fender looks almost like it was done with a can of spray paint! There are smudges and imperfections in several places, it is just a hack job from start to finish. I guess they expected I should have just taken the car with the scratch in the fender and been happy, because the car looked far, far worse after they repaired the scratched fender! I have never seen such a poor quality paint finish in my entire life, and it seems as if the damage was possibly intentional and spiteful. In truth my car looked far better with a dent in the hood, and I regert the day I took it to Worst Choice Body Shop. I have a Saphire Black metalic loaded BMW twin turbo 335d with M Sport, Navigation, premium, comfort access, Harmon Kardon, etc., and I love everything about this car. But after this experience with First Choice Im not sure if I even want to keep the car as it just makes me sick to even think about the horrible experience I had at Worst Choice Body Shop. I would never again trust First Choice Body Shop in Arlington VA. I have seen much better quality workmanship from Maaco, and in truth no body shop could not have possibly done a worse job on the paint finish of my car than First Choice Body Shop in Arlington, VA. Save your money, and save your time. Go to Pep Boys and buys some bondo and a can of spray paint. Your results will be just as good as those of Worst Choice Body Shop, and it wont take a month and cost a small fortune!

How could anyone say anything bad about this place? My car was involved in a hit and run and when i called distressed the man i spoke to walked me through the *entire* claims process before he even knew if he would have my business or not. So weeks later i get a call to make a date to drop off my car. The employees left detailed voice mails, and always returned your calls right away. my bumper was replaced in 7 hours. i dropped it off in the morning and picked it up after work....are you serious? what other auto shop can say they can do that? None i have ever been to. Also, stepping into their shop is like stepping back in time. Its pretty cool to feel the retro vibe of their little office. They offer you some tv to watch if you have to wait. I just have never felt such hospitality from an auto shop ever. Thank you First Choice. Hopefully no body hits me again but if they do, i am coming back to yall.

Found this hunting down their telephone number, since Im about to go out of my way to take my BMW 330 Ci there a fourth time (I seem to be a target for bad DC drivers). One of those times included massive damage from a tree that fell on my car during the derecho--lots and lots of difficult, small dents. I feel like these guys are on my side when it comes to dealing with the insurance issues, and the repairs have been top notch. Highly recommended.

Hi have taken my car to First Choice twice now and both times were very good experiences. They are very professional and have a clear system for providing estimates. You definitely do not feel like you are being taken advantage of like you do at some other body shops. All around a good, reliable place for auto repairs on German cars.
