Please read before using them! I decided to overlook the poor reviews for this company and give them a chance, praying my experience would be smooth. I moved from Illinois to Texas and Majestic was the worst and most stressful part of my move. The loaded our belongings into a rented Enterprise truck and told us everything would be transferred onto a bigger truck and driven down to Texas. This was done on Friday Aug 4. The movers said we were severely underqhoued and there was no way the items would fit in the amount of space we were quoted. We had to pay almost $600 additional for the move. They told us the drive would take 3-4 days at most. By Tuesday, we were calling their customer service numerous times to check the ETA of our things and no one would tell us where it was. On Wednesday I received a call from a dispatcher named Eddiewho said we would receive everything in the next couple of days and that everything was loaded into the bigger semi on Tuesday. I was schooled and pissed. He apologize and seemed unaware that everything was picked up on Friday and had no idea why it took so long. He said he could take off $50 but anything more I would need to call customer service about. I called them the next morning, completely unhelpful and said there must have been a miscommunication and that I had to file a claim in order to have any further funds reimbursed. The movers got it my home on Friday August 11. We were asked upon delivery if we had 1 flight of stairs to love things into or 2. We advised him 1. The driver got there and counted 7 steps and said that was all we were quoted for and began delivering our things to the bottom of the steps and we had to take it up the rest. Unbelievable. Everything in the truck was smashed up against each other, 15 different families items were on an 18 wheel semi truck. If you select this company, pleas know you will be disappointed. If you dont mind then go for it but theyre in the business of screwing people over. So sad.

Would definitely not use again. Customer services is horrible. I have attempted to contact a representative several times within a 2 to 3 week time frame regarding particulars of my upcoming move, that I scheduled thru this company, and I have left several messages requesting a return call. When finally able to speak with a live person (customer service representative), she was unable to answer simple questions such as, how many items were confirmed to move within the rate that was quoted, and how long does it take delivery of items once picked up. According to the rep, she did not have access to my contract thus could not answer any questions regarding the move. She then forwarded me to "customer service", in which I was redirected to a standard office voice mail. Several calls later, different days later, the same. Today I called and requested a manager, and was told she was on a phone call and would return my call immediately once she completed the call...end of day and many hours later, no return call. This is a big deal as most moving companies take a week or more to deliver items following pick-up. I simply wanted to know this information so that I could decide if I needed to move the pick-up date to a week prior to delivery; esp. since its a long distance delivery. Simple question, right? This is how you loose customers. If I am not important enough for you to return my calls within a 3 week window, then your company is not sufficient enough to meet my moving needs.Customer service training should be a must :)

Came to the wrong address (totally inexplicably--they messed up my address with someone else, it wasnt a small spelling error or something). Came at the wrong time (3 hours late). Argued over pricing and new quote ended up being twice what they told me initially. Argued over how much to pay. 3 separate and inconsistent invoices produced. Finally moved my stuff. ALSO MOVED STUFF I HAD SET ASIDE and didnt want moved. Decided NOT to move things I had clearly told them i wanted moved and were in boxes or furniture. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Also heard that its hard to get them to deliver the goods if you are using storage. Not looking forward.

This is the most terrible company I have ever seen. We are at 99 days since they picked up our belongings, 69 business days and we have no idea where are things are and all they ever tell you if you can even get through is they will check with dispatch and call you back and they have not called us back one, ever! They have lots of shell company names. Be sure to go to the physical address, the addresses on the internet are fake. Ive talked with people who have paid and all of their things are missing too and they cant get any help either.

Ovando and his team arrived on time and from the minute they arrived I knew I was dealing with professionals. All of the team were courteous, professional and efficient. In just over 2 hours they packed and loaded everything into the truck. What an outstanding job! I can (and will) recommend Majestic Moving & Storage to anyone else needing to move. I was very pleased with my moving experience with Majestic Moving & Storage. I had two men that went right at the job at hand. They were professional and moved my possessions with a great deal of care. My move was not easy due to steps up to the apartment and then steps up to the unit. I really appreciate the job these guys did.
