Ryan and Kayce are professional, helpful, and responsive. I was in a big hurry when I went in to rent. When I asked if I could get in and out in less than an hour they responded "We can get you out of here in about 12 minutes." And they did. So - Is it the most amazing storage facility in the whole USA? - I have no idea. Nobody is going to ooh and aaah over a storage unit. Its an empty place to put your stuff. So it isnt exciting, but it definitely serves ones purposes. Prices are in line with other facilities in the area for a climate controlled unit. Worst criticisms - some corporate policies are a bit odd - for instance, they have to answer the phones with some silly "its a great day" phrase that makes it sound as if youve just called Mr. Rogers neighborhood. Its off-putting and a little surreal. Another policy that seems weird is that one cannot co-rent a unit with ones spouse/family member/partner/friend. Only one person is on the rental agreement. They give you enough keys for your family members, but only one may be on the lease. That means that if you want to borrow the free move-in truck, the leasee must be present. My husband couldnt run out and pick up the truck while I continued to pack boxes. I had to go with him (even though he was the one who was going to be driving the truck). On the day we borrowed the move-in truck, staff was unaware that the vehicle was having fairly significant steering problems - until we figured it out while driving (which was not optimal). To their credit, when we told of the issue, they immediately took the truck out of circulation and arranged for repairs. Also, on our first day moving stuff into the unit, the baited sticky trap at our closest door had a small dead black snake stuck to it. Sort of creepy. But when we told them about it, they removed that trap instantly. All things considered, much better to find its remains in the trap than be confronted with a small creature in your unit. We have never had an experience with a storage facility before, so no point of reference for comparison. By far, the best thing about the facility is the staff. They are smart, prepared, and beyond competent. Whatever corporate is paying them - it isnt enough.

I have been a customer at this location for over two years. I use this storage to store supplies that my company sends me, not personal use. I was estatic with the customer service I received from the on-site management team, Ann and Frank. They were always professional, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. I give this location 100 stars when Ann and Frank managed the business. The management team has changed and if I could give A lower rating than 1 star, I would. The new on-site management team is horrible. They are rude, unprofessional, and dont know the first thing about how to treat a customer. I wont go into the whole story, but let me say that they dont care about long term customers. Normally, I am an easy going person and do not complain. But after the way I was treated today and how they spoke to me, I can not let it go. I asked for the District Managers name and phone number to complain, but he refused to give it to me. He then proceeded to tell me that he does not have to give me the information and that he can run this location anyway he wants. I would warn anyone looking for a storage unit to stay away from this location, unless you prefer to be treated like dirt. I will not be using this business for storage anymore. I prefer to deal with a business who value their customers and treat them with professionalism and great customer service. Just in case that manager is reading this review, I did find a way to contact your superiors and I told them how you treated me today. Hopefully you will be instructed on how to treat your customers.

Usually dealing with storage can be a pain because most of the time it involves moving - and lets face it, nobody enjoys the hassle of moving! But I have nothing but love for Sue and Craig at this Security Public Storage location in Ashburn. They have made my life much easier with their assistance all the way, all the time: 1. Up/Down-sizing - Craigs a master at recommending a unit to switch to. I swear, he just took a long assessing look at what I had and what I needed to get stored and came up with the right suit to suit my evolving needs 2. Deal terms - Sue was amazingly helpful in recommending the best deal for my needs 3. Handling Excess storage items - Sue and Craig again were instrumental in helping my get rid of those items I no longer needed stored 4. Courtesy: They are both very nice and super-friendly 5. Knowledge: They are both very knowledgeable about their business 6. Facility: Very clean; relatively easy to get to off the highway; all storage units are on the ground floor; storage units are in tip-top shape all the time; plenty of dollys and carts available to schlep your stuff around; plenty of moving products/accessories available; and you can ship UPS out of this store I have recommended this storage facility to my friends and am very pleased to do the same to you if youre reading this review

When I was faced with a situation where I needed to use a storage facility, I searched for locations close to home and I decided on this one. At first my main decision points were price and location. What else could a person need in terms of a storage unit? I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem tucked away at the end of a dead-end-road in Ashburn. The managers, Sue and Craig, were impeccable with their level of service. They addressed everyone by name and established a rapport as if they have known you for a lifetime. The facility is very clean, has state-of-the-art security, and the icing on the cake is that they loan you a truck for move-in. It is not totally free, but the price is very nominal to cover additional insurance. Sue very diligently listened to my needs and made sure I had the right size unit. She also thoroughly explained all of the terms and conditions to ensure that I understood exactly what I was signing and exactly what the expectations are. I have no intention of keeping this unit beyond six months or so as a temporary storage before selling and moving. However, if I had a specific need for storage in the future, this will be my go-to place. I highly recommend this storage facility to others!

So far so good -- just have signed up for a new unit. Customer service was excellent (both Matthew and Chris). property is well maintained; unit is clean and presentable. Appreciate the " new lock" provided. like having a hand cart availble to move boxes, etc. June 2013 Second month going well. positve interactions with new site managers. have now made multiple runs to unit to fill up with items. access always easy. hallway clean. inside temp good. cart avaibable to assist. very satisfied July 2013 Spent a lot of time this weekend going back to the unit to pull out items already needed. Very helpful to have wide hallway to put boxes. etc, while rearranging -- and looking for the "right" box. Was happy to note the area was still clean and neat; and that the "climate control" feature was operational. still very satisfied. August 2013 Again was back in September needing to add a few boxes and pull some selected items out. Ease of access, good size hallways,and use of cart made this easier. Also I was there on 90 degree plus days -- the climate control made all this more comfortable. September 2013
