When I was shopping for a storage unit, I stopped into Security Public Storage and was greeted by a very friendly woman who happily took me in a golf cart to look at my various options. They have both indoor and outdoor accessible units in various sizes. I decided to rent a certain unit that was accessible from the outside. She immediately went to work sweeping it out (there were just some leaves in it) and got it really clean for me. I offered to help but she wouldnt let me. I was impressed with the service along with the "no-sell" attitude. I also loved the location - very convenient for me, and not congested or stifling. Every time Ive been to the front office, the person I deal with is friendly, efficient, and professional. They all really do make sure you are happy. Once, I forgot to have my bill paid by the first and on the fourth, in a panic, I called them - they assured me that my unit was untouched and took care of my payment over the phone. They also told me I could have come in over the next few days to take care of it. Another aspect I appreciate is that the place is gated and you need to use a pre-chosen individualized code for access. Each unit is alarmed as well. I felt confident that my belongings would remain safe - and of course, they were (are). Very nice place, highly recommended.

When I moved to Frederick 4 months ago, I needed a place to store all of my things while waiting for our house to be built. We visited several storage units which, although nice, didnt seem to match the rental price they were asking. That is until we found Security Public Storage. Their rental rates are amazing and storage units are so clean. And I dont think yo uwill find a safer more secure place to store yoru belongings (gated entrance, access codes, security cameras monitored at front office). The best part about SPS is the staff. They are just so friendly and will bend over backwards for you. After already having one storage unit with them, I found myself in an emergency situation where I was going to need a smaller unit to store a couch we had just bought and I was in a hurry to return the truck we were using so I just called them up, explained the situation, and they already had all the paperwork ready and waiting for me to just sign. I really appreciated that. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Once inside the unit it was very clean and I had use of the storage companys hand cart which came in handy. They have both indoor and outdoor accessible units in various sizes. I highly recommend this storage facility and would use them again. I rented a unit for 2 months & just checked out today. The grounds were secure and the managers live close by, so access to help, if needed, is very convenient. Access to the facility off of Rt 40 was also very convenient. The managers, Ric & Layla Sitnek were clear, concise and business-like; I felt confident to leave my things in their care. Its difficult for me to compare costs to other facilities - size of unit, location of unit, type of unit & then what was available at the various local facilities made this complicated. My recommendation is to check out several before you commit. Luckily I did, and settled on Security Public Storage at 17 Western Drive.

They are crooks! After I moved most of my stuff out one weekend, I came back the next weekend to get the tarps and blankets Id left behind. Only to find they had locked me out (my gate code no longer worked despite me being paid up until the end of the month), and they had removed my tarps/blankets and added their own lock so I couldnt get in. The weekend staff couldnt have cared less about this. I called and emailed the owners and never heard back. Oh, also, many of these reviews are unreliable, because SPS gives discounts for reviews. Take the positive reviews with a grain of salt!

IM IMPRESED WITH THIS STORAGE IN EVERYTHING: LOCATION, PRICE,SECURITY,CLEANLINESS AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. THE STAFF(MANAGERS) OF THE FREDERICK LOCATION ARE THE BEST. I REMEMBERED I HONESTLY FORGOT TO FILL UP THE GAS TANK OF THEIR RENTAL TRUCK WHEN I MOVED IN AND THEY CALLED ME THE NEXT MORNING IN A FRIENDLY MANNER AND GAVE ME THE CHANCE TO GO AND ADD THE GAS NEEDED AT THE NEAREST GAS STATION. THAT WAS SO NICE OF THEM.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE AND I WILL ALWAYS WILL USE IT WHEN NEEDED. IM STILL RENTING AN UNIT HERE AND I FEEL MY STUFF IS VERY SECURE HERE.

My company requested that I locate an off-site public storage vendor that had easy access from various locations and that would not break-the-bank. I searched several public storage vendor locations, and this one was by far the best of those in the Frederick MD area. Most of the nicer public storage vendors have service fees added in the fine print of their contracts...Not this one! We have been here over 2 years and we are extremely happy. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Friendly are just a FEW of the adjectives that describe this location!

My family has had two storage units for almost 7 months with Security Public Storage. One is a climate controlled unit and the other is a non-climate controlled unit. Ric and Layla, the on-site managers, are always very friendly and efficient. The facilities are immaculate and well taken care of. There has been no sign of pests. The location is convenient to major highways near the western end of Frederick city. I would highly recommend Security Public Storage to anyone looking to store their familys belongings. The staff is very friendly and was very conscientious that I got every discount and promotion available to me. They offered to take me to the storage unit to ensure that I would find it easily. The units are very clean, bug free, and even though we rented a unit that was not climate controlled, the unit never gets too hot or too cold. I have used this storage company at the same location before and was so pleased that I used it for my current needs. I highly recommend this site for your storage needs.

Clean, secure, friendly, accommodating assures a very positive experience at Fredericks Security Public Storage. Strategically located on the west side just outside the bustle of Frederick, it provides almost immediate access to I-70 westbound for departing movers and I-70 eastbound for those arriving. Storing and retrieving our household goods three times over a six month period, Ric and Layla met our needs with ease making the otherwise exasperating experience endurable. Highly recommended.
