Im not happy with the $1300 unit I had purchased from them. Ive experienced many problems, including: The Sceptre LED screen will get scrambled occasionally and I will have to reboot the system to get it working correctly -- Ive had the mouse replaced three times in 14 months -- Ive replaced the keyboard once already, as well -- The CD-Rom is now clicking and freezing up the entire unit requiring a reboot. The CD-Rom is now useless -- I was told this was a gaming unit but it cannot even keep up with Sims3 (not to mention the CD-Rom is now useless, so games are not an option) or even Facebooks Happy Pets -- The fan does not properly cool the unit and for best usage I have to keep the side panel off -- And when I wrote them to complain, a month after my 1-year warranty has expired, I do not get a response (its been over 10 days now). I was once told, by a salesperson, that I was caring for the unit wrong. I responded to that salesperson that if I was caring for my unit wrong, then explain how my Dell unit has been working for over 7 years with only a quarter of the problems I have with this unit? I care for the Dell exactly as I care for this $1300 unit purchased in February of 2011. This is a unit they have built and it is the last ANYTHING I ever purchase from them. A computer professional, in another town (not competing with Computer Pros), has expressed that I was ripped off, after looking over the unit and seeing my issues. And although this is merely one opinion from someone unbiased, Im inclined to agree with them. Im still waiting fro a reply from Computer Pros but more than willing to go another route to satisfy my computer issues.

Took my desktop unit here to resolve an issue regarding freezing. I had three drives on this PC. Two SSD (250GB and 750GB) and one HDD (2TB). Told them I had tried installing it onto each drive without success. Eventually they fixed the issue and told me they had replaced some cables. They installed Windows onto the 750GB SSD and hooked up the HDD. I never worried that my smaller SSD was not showing up because it was just extra and figured Id take care of that later. Time went by and I popped open my case for some maintenance and discovered that the 250GB SSD was actually no longer there. The SATA cables were just hanging there and the 2.5" to 3.5" mount with my 250GB SSD was gone. Tried contacting them to resolve the issue, but they were unwilling to help. Other than one of my components going missing, they seem knowledgeable and the prices are fair.

After putting together a new computer, I realized the RAM from my old one wouldnt work in my new build. Anxious to get my machine up and running the same day, I searched online and found what I needed for $60, but didnt want to pay the overnight shipping to get it by the next day (Friday). So I went to Best Buy, and they didnt carry it in the store (and they barely knew what I was talking about). I decided on the way back to work to try Computer Pros. I gave them a call and they got me exactly what I needed for the same price as what I could find online (and it was right there in-stock!). Great service and the guys there who knew exactly what I needed (because they dont sell microwaves there too, they know their computers). Great experiece, they saved the day, and now Im off to play on my new computer!

I recommend computer pros because they gave me what i wanted for a good price. i couldnt afford the high performance computers they have on stock. So the gm said well we can build me a computer in my price range. That gave me a well put together computer at my price range that i wanted to spend. And when he went 40 dollars over budget he gave me a 40 dollar discount. Which made me happy for choosing computer pros. i will be back there very soon. Thanks guys!

I cant recommend this people since they refuse to back up their work. I had them replace a battery in my Samsung tablet. The battery they ordered has never charged, but the repairman was rude and refused to check it out. Despite this, I called them to make a home visit to set up a smart tv. Same thing, $85 anhour a total of $127 and it wont work. When I called I was told Id have to pay again. Nope, shame on me for getting screwed twice.

I wanted to get a new computer so I talked to a guy named Shawn and he helped me find a computer that fit my needs and was able to transfer all my info from my old computer to my new computer and it came with a year warranty in store which I just loved. I had a great experiece with computer pros. Thanks to everyone in the store for all your help. S.Dameron

We have been working with Rich and his staff for many years, possibly starting relying on Computer Pros shortly after they opened in Bristol, VA. We have found Computer Pros to be highly qualified, honest and helpful. They have saved us a great deal of money with our computer repairs and purchases. Good group of highly trained computer techs, a real pleasure to work with these guys.

Computer Pros has saved my bacon more than once when my PC got infected with a virus. They cleaned the PC and saved my files and documents so I didnt lose any data. Surprisingly, this cost me under $50.

very overpriced place, they think that they are the only people in town fixing computers.
