I recently had an issue with my HP Pavilion laptop computer and could not open any of the files in my document’s this was very upsetting to me because these files are something I use almost every day. My initial thought was to try and fix it myself by going online and searching websites for a resolution after some time looking and not finding any help for my issue I started looking online for Computer Repair shops and found a very Professional Website online for Reliant Computer Services located in Lakeland FL for all types of computers/tablets, phone repairs and Diagnostic service. I called the phone number listed Chris Hudson answered the phone with a professional courteous voice. I began telling him my problem he immediately understood what might be causing this issue and said it would be best to have them take a look at it in the shop. He said I would be welcome to bring it in that afternoon. That is service that is hard to come by these days and too often business are not customer service oriented. Unfortunately I could not make it on that Friday so I called back on Saturday and spoke with Jenna who was very helpful and explained that Chris would be back on Monday and if I wanted I could bring it in and have it in the shop for Monday morning. When I arrived at their facility everything in the shop was spotless and organized. I was greeted immediately by Chris and Jenna as I proceeded to tell them my issue as we were turning on the computer for Chris to have a look at the problem he very quickly got to work resolving the core issue. In no time Chris figured out the problem and fixed all the files, as we were talking he also checked other systems to see if everything was running correctly and came across other issues that needed to be addressed. Everything he explained to me was in detail so I understood exactly what he was doing every step of the way. Chris repaired my computer like it was new again running as fast as ever with all files intact. It was a pleasure being at their shop I cannot express how AWESOME my experience was they are such a great organization. I will definitely be going back for any issues with any electronics in the future, I will be a returning customer of theirs forever. I highly recommend anyone with Computer issues to take their electronics to Reliant Computer Services . Thank you so much Chris for giving me more than just a resolution to my computer issue....

He repaired my phone two weeks ago and I had called him and told him that my screen was not flush and made a clicking noise he told me that they all do that so I trusted him cause he should know better than me and another week went by and my camera quit working so I did a hard reset and when I touched the top of screen it cracked half way down. I called him again and he was very argumentative from the start. I told him Im not trying to argue with you but I called you the first week and u said that they were all like that so thats why I didnt bring it back. He told me to come up there only to tell me he didnt think he should have to fix it. Luckily his dad was sitting there and said well can you help her out and he finally said well I will give you a new screen for what I get it for at cost $60. When I first talked to him he said those screens were $80 at cost. I felt very much like he was calling me a liar when I am a honest woman who just got screwed over. I went somewhere else and paid $115 and got it fixed right I rather pay $115 and not have it clicking and breaking than $60 for an unreliable product! Oh and by the way Chris they said my camera was disconnected not a software problem like you said! I know they werent lying cause I watched them reconnect it and now it works. They also said the shield wasnt on and it was missing parts which they replaced and I also watched them put in. They werent just trying to make anyone look bad either cause I stood there the whole time and watched everything they did. When they asked me who repaired I said reliant and he said oh yeah Chris ppl come in here all the time one lady was crying he was so mean to her! Wow and I thought u were nice the first time I met you. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated I always try to be nice but people should know you obviously dont care about your customers. Dont know where you got it from your dad seems really nice!

My first experience with Reliant was very positive, they fixed my laptops keyboard quickly and cost effectively. My second experience (a year later) however was absolutely terrible. If you have a smartphone, do not go to reliant, they clearly dont have the same know-how that they have with computers. I brought my smartphone in for a repair after dropping it and the screen stopped working. I spent the next three weeks having to call them every single time for updates. They kept telling me they would update me, and never did. They ordered the wrong LCD display several times (my phone was bought in Europe, it took them 1 to 1.5 weeks to figure that out). Then after 2 to 2.5 weeks, they received the right part and apparently figured out that it wasnt the LCD display after all. Supposedly the "board", although when i brought home I had absolutely no issue operating using Vysor - a mirror service to operate your phone via your laptop. So, they (and by that I mean Chris) obviously spent 3 weeks with my phone without ever figuring out what was wrong with it. As a grand gesture I got a "free back-up" where he threw part of my data files onto a "great" free flash drive. I did the same backup (complete this time) in 15 min once home using Vysor. Pretty frustrating knowing that I waited 3 weeks with no updates unless I called, to end up buying a new phone. On top of it all, Chris still did not refund (although he told me three times he would) so we had to file a dispute with our Credit Card. I first handed them my phone June 27th, it is now August 9th.... Stay away, go somewhere where they know how a smartphone works or at least care about customer service. Seriously disappointed, I should have driven 2 extra minutes to ubreakifix as I had planned. Chris, when you answer this and try to twist my story, dont and go issue my refund instead.

Terrible service. First off I called the place and I wasnt even sure if I was calling a business or someones phone... I get there with my laptop and told him what was wrong and hes like okay let me test the hard drive. He test it and hes like it works. Then hes like I gotta reinstall windows. I leave to go to class and call him and hes like oh yeah your hard drive is bad. its going to cost you $100 for a 500 gb hard drive. Someone that knows a little about computers knows thats outrageous. I build my own computer and I know how to do everything he did to my computer. He told my it was some complicated stuff over the phone when he was fixing my computer and hes going to need a few more days. 4 days go by and Im wondering if hes done because he said he would call me when hes done. He never called and was like oh yeah its done. I asked what was wrong and he said i tried to install windows 10 and it wouldnt let me so I installed windows 8... I was charged over $250 for a new hard drive and I had a 750 gb originally... now Im at 500 (sold for about $40-50 online) and charged $180 to reinstall windows... All you do is hook it up to a usb and wait for it to install. Takes 1 hour MAX. No reason at all why I was over charged for the terrible service. Will never go back here. If he would have told me what was wrong at the start then I would have said thank you and bought a new hard drive cheaper and fixed everything my self. Thanks for ripping me off.
