This Maaco is the real deal. The owner/manager Hisham and his front office staff, especially Joe, value your business, even if you are going with one of their budget paint jobs, and make sure you are well taken care of. The front office is clean and the shop looks to be well run from what I could tell when I had my Jeep painted there in April 2013. The great thing about Maaco is it offers a wide range of paint jobs for various budgets. I went with their basecoat + integrated clearcoat (Base + IC) and couldnt be happier with how it turned out. The location is a little hard to find, but the location itself is actually pretty central if you are in the Chantilly/Herndon/Manassas area, located right across the street from the Dulles Expo Center. Joe was extremely helpful first, as I obtained a quote, then waited several months, then obtained another quote, as I decided whether to proceed with painting my old Jeep. No pressure sales approach and totally helpful attitude throughout. Then, as I tried to decide on picking a color, Joe and Hisham were both helpful and offered a free "spray out" to me to allow me to pick between the two paint options I couldnt choose between from looking at a small color swatch. They didnt have to do this, but offered it free even though I was going with a budget paint job to help me out. If you are looking to paint your vehicle, I would highly recommend checking out Maaco in Chantilly. You hear people on the internet saying "oh, I would stay away from Maaco - I have only heard bad things". Perhaps that is because of a bad experience, or just generally the negative stereotype Maaco gets for being an affordable auto paint shop (by the way, they do offer high end paint services if you are interested). Either way, I found that those comments couldnt be farther from the truth. Maaco Chantilly is a stand up shop that does good work. I definitely will consider taking future vehicles there and will recommend the shop to anyone who is looking to have their vehicle painted in the area.

I recently had some work body work/full paint job on my 1985 Ford F250 at Maaco in Chantilly and from beginning to end everything was superb. Great work, customer service and satisfaction begin with the manager running the shop, Sam. Sam and I spent over an hour walking around my truck, recommending the type of service that could make my truck look the way I wanted it within my budget. I was very pleased with the service and care provided by Sam. The day of drop off I had no way to get to work, he volunteered to drop me off about 15 mins away from his shop, knowing all the work he had to do he still took the time to make my experience even better. Communication while the work was being done was fantastic. Sam sent progress photos of my truck and updated me with any updates he could provide. The results were beyond what I imagined, the final price was same as the estimate, and they exceeded my expectations. I have other old projects that I will bring in to Sam and his team to work on. I highly recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work Sam and team!

After my sons car got hit, the body shop recommended by my insurance company was going to paint the repaired portion of the car a color that didnt match the after-market paint job on the car. Further, they wanted WAY too much money to repaint the entire car. Not liking either of these options, I started researching MAACO. Most of the reviews were not that impressive except the reviews for the MAACO in Chantilly, VA so I decided to give them a call. I ended up taking the car there and worked with Sam and also Joe, who were absolutely PHENOMENAL! They responded to every phone call and email very quickly and were pleasant and very professional every step of the way. They made excellent recommendations for making the car look really great and we got way more than we ever expected PLUS I had a few dollars left over from the insurance money! Great experience...After looking for months to find a place to repaint my 1973 Mustang Convertible at a reasonable price, Maaco of Chantilly was a great choice. Not only a reasonable price, but Sam, Joe, James and the Maaco team made it a great experience. They answered questions, communicated well and often, kept me informed and welcomed my 3-4 times per week visit to check on their progress. This was not a run of the miill fender bender repair job, and these guys went the extra mile to take good care of me and my car. The results were great, the final price was same as the estimate, and they met my high expectations. I would definitely do business with these guys again, and highly recommend them to others. In an industry with lots of options and variable levels of quality, it was nice to find a shop like theirs who takes pride in their work and has great customer service to boot. Well done.

I recently had a fender-bender while driving my 2002 Taurus.... I only carry liability insurance on my car, and the other guys insurance determined it was not their clients fault ( I swear it was!). Their adjuster had left me with an $1800 estimate for repairs before denying my claim, and I was pretty bummed. My boss suggested MAACO which turned out to be a terrific experience. SAM understood that I did not want to go "all out" on my 12 year-old car, and gave me a reasonable option for $750. The car looks fantastic, it came in at exactly the estimated cost, and in the exact time they said it would be ready. This is a top-notch shop, clean and professionally run, and they will even hook you up with a rental if needed. Great experience!

Back in December, 2014 I went to the shop for an estimate for making my newly purchased old Civic look better. Joe was very helpful and provided me with great options. A month later after some work on my own, I went back to live my little beloved car in Joes hands. Once I returned it looked like great. Mind you this car was built in 1996 and had been battered by an elderly woman driving and parking in DC for years, but it only had 89,xxx miles. So I wanted to give it some (new) life and the crew at this Maaco did just that. Joe let me know that the people wanted to buy it the little time it sat waiting for me to pickup. Its unfortunate, but more commonly true, that finding great service at a reasonable price with great customer service is hard to find these days. Fortunately for Maaco Chantilly, this fact makes them stand tall among the rest. Joe, Sam, and the rest of their crew are great to work with, and except for the paint fumes, like a breathe of fresh air. They couldnt have made the process of working with them any easier. They are courteous, understanding, work with you on pricing, deliver a great product and service, on time, clean, and even arranged a rental car. Thanks, guys, for a great experience at your shop.
