I dont know why the people below rated it 5 stars, but I will definitely give it a 0 if there were this choice..(are they friends of Premo or what?) Worst service ever. I have personally been there 4 times because they never call me back or send me quotes via any method, and I wasted 5 days on waiting for their so-called call-back service, or the call-you-to-come-back-by-yourself service. Anthony, the manager of the office, always tried to overrun the price on everything!! 400% more on wheel painting work than my friends shop, not to mention the rest of services it provide. Well, if you are rich or dont know how to spend your money, Premo would be the best choice for you :) I am curious how people would think of cost of a 4-wheel-painting work. He asked for $350 for one wheel while my friend said $350 is enough to do all four! As I assume that for a good shop good price = good service, so for Premo it is extreme price = good service? The most ridiculous thing is that in an attempt to push me to buy his mechanical service on changing exhaust system, Anthony claimed that it would give a boost of 70 hps on my car. So…..I asked my engineer friend graduated from U of Illinois (Champaign), and he suggested that at most there would be a boost of 20 hps on my 240 hp car if I change the airintake and exhaust system……not to mention the parts of my friend’s car were used to fix another car in Premo…… I will left the rest for you to think, is it good to choose Premo or no :)

Ive had my fair share of bad car repair experiences, but my experience at Premo Auto Body was the worst. They made my car worse than before I brought it in, and they charged me over $200 for damages they caused (according to the itemized receipt they provided upon my request... their normal receipts arent itemized). When I first brought my car to them, I asked for a quote to fix a malfunctioning speedometer, but they replaced my speed sensor without my authorization and charged me over $200 for it. I didnt want to make it a big deal, so I just paid the bill. But their repair didnt work. The speedometer problem seemed exactly the same as when I brought the car in. I asked for a refund, but they refused, saying they could fix it, and charged me $50 more for an additional part which made the speedometer even worse. (They refunded the $50, but Im still trying to get the $200 back.) Ive been dealing with this situation for nearly 2 months. Theyve kept my car in their shop for a total of about 10 days. I think Ive been there at least 10 times because they dont respond to calls or emails. Im filing a complaint with the BBB and VA attorney general. My car isnt safe to drive without a functioning speedometer, and, although theyre polite in person, they havent taken any accountability for the fact that they charged me to damage my car.

The original order was completed with only a minor delay. The work was ok, but there are some runs in the paint. They did not replace the detailing on the repaired parts, just left them lay on the front seat. Worse yet, they lost or failed to replace one of the trim panels. It has been 6 months and at least a dozen trips, 4 for scheduled appointments to have that piece replaced and I am still waiting. Anthony is either the most disorganized and poor manager around or an out and out liar. He has repeatedly scheduled a time to replace the part and when I get there he is not there and neither is the part. I have heard at least half a dozen excuses, but the part never gets there. I really dont think he has any intention of replacing something that was there when he started the job. Now for the last 3 weeks no one has answered the phone when I try to call. Either they are avoiding the number I am calling from or someone needs to pay attention to the office work. Messages have not been returned on at least 3 occasions, so I no longer bother. Very poor customer service. I very glad he is not the one restoring my 1950 vehicle.

This is my second time with Premo. A few years ago, someone hit my former car and his insurance agent gave me a couple auto shops to choose from. I visited both and found Anthony in charge at Premo friendly, knowledgeable, professional and personable. I did not have a good feeling about the other place so I went with Premo. A good decision - Premo got my car done on time and it was good as new. This second time, I tapped my current car backing up in the dark. Ouch! A big scratch on the rear bumper which was pushed forward to overlap what was in front. Darn. I went back to Premo, almost crying. Anthony looked all around and lied right down on the ground to check from below. On D-Day, they gave the bumper a brand new coat of paint and fit it back to my perfectionist’s satisfaction. They also dropped me off at work. When I realized I had left my lunch bag in my car at Premo, the driver delivered it to me. After 5 p.m. the driver picked me up back to Premo to get my car. They were more like friends trying to help. I am a happy repeat customer. Many thanks, Premo!

Excellent Service, courteous, polite, outstanding staff. Work was done professionally and completed in just 4 days (left auto there on Thursday late afternoon, and it was ready Monday afternoon, looking like new. Its a 2002 Toyota Camry with over 150,000 miles. I use it strictly for my sales territory which is in a 75 mile radius. I put between 35K to 40 K miles/yr on this vehicle, and I cannot afford to be without it. My income depends on its effective operation. The total cost were less than the Insurance quote, and I received some extra work and material at no charge. Hard to beat in this day and time. I will recommend Premo Auto Body to anyone who ask. The Owner, Anthony Mayo, is a professional in every respect, and treated me as one also. Thanks for their fine work. Respectfully, Robert B. "Bob" Brown

Took my 89 300 SE Mercedes to this shop after my insurance company totaled" the car and I bought it back for $250. Passenger side of the car had been hit in rear door and all around rear wheel. Premo Auto Body assured me they could make it right and they certainly did and did it very well. Everyone who saw the car damaged has been amazed at how fantastic it turned out. I am very happy with both the final results and the price. Even after buying the car back from the insurance company and paying Premo Auto Body, I made money. You cant beat that!!!! The car is now over 25 years old and l get compliments weekly. Thank you Premo Auto Body!

The only honest thing about Premo Auto Body is that I was given my money back. I was spoon fed lies for an entire week by Anthony. From metal work to sandblasting to problems with the base coat that had been corrected all the way to the finished product Anthony kept on with the lies. When I went to the shop a week later, I was shocked to see that nothing had been done and everything was exactly how I had dropped it off. I was appalled when even then the owner asked for more time before refunding my money. If you enjoy mind games this is the place to go.
