Be careful if you are a stranded motorist! These people were persistent about wanting me to do unnecessary repairs to my car and charged me twice what the labor should have cost. I negotiated them down to almost half the cost of the initial quote but they still charged me twice the cost for labor. The job only took 2 hours to do, but they let me sit in the waiting room for almost 4 hours and had very few customers come in during that time...likely because people in the area already know they are crooks. Dont believe the previous reviews...the Mark listed below is probably the guy that works in the office and lies to you. If I lived in the area, I would never take my car back to these people.

I tried twice to work this place but each time they charged high repair prices that were unnecessay. They adjusted the first bill because they charged $500 more than they quoted me which was still too high. My bill their after the adjustment was still $1500 for a steering gear box and pump.They mark up their parts 35% and charge you for the core then they keep your core part. Then my second rip off was they charged me a dianostic charge when I already told them what was wrong and nothing got fixed on my vehicle. $106 dollars for nothing. Also their labor rates are as high as a dealer. I hope this warns you enough to stay away from this unethical business.

I had my 2004 Ford Focus towed to West Service Center when it would not start up when I was leaving class from ODU late one night. I asked the driver to have them call me in the morning after they found the problem. They called with a few options on how to fix my starter and battery. After talking to my Dad to make sure he agreed, I told them to fix it and they finished it in no time. Thanks guys for your hard work! I will be sure to bring my car there if I have any other problems in the future.

I dont typically write reviews but Sean from West Service Center was so courteous, knowledgeable and efficient that I just had to! He arrived quickly and immediately went to work. His demeanor was so positive and upbeat that I forgot about how disgruntled I was about the flat. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and from now on they will be the ONLY towing company I use.

Having had my vehicles repaired at several shops in the area over the years I have never encountered a repair facility like West Service Center. Great service on Fourth of July! We locked the keys in our car on the way to fireworks. West was our car insurance companys provider, and Lee came right over to Virginia Beach and got the door open in just a few minutes. Lee was incredibly nice, and that was the most pleasant experience weve ever had locking our keys in the car.

My tractor and trailer was towed back to their shop recently and repaired. Due to waiting on a part from dealer I was detained. But the folks at west made greatness out of a bad situation. Towed my truck with no problem and repaired it too. Good job!!!!

Got a jump from their driver, Lee, who was very knowledgeable and polite. Quick job, and he told me all about what could have caused it, and how I could keep it from happening again, without making me feel stupid for letting it happen in the first place

So nice and didnt try to rip me off. I only wish they would have turned the "service engine soon" light of in my motorhome after servicing the engine.

If you need a tow, call someone else. Had an hour wait, but will attribute that to weather. Driver of the tow truck was extremely rude.
