The most unprofessional gym Ive been to hands down. My girlfriend was very interested in getting into fitness and she was looking for a new gym she wanted to try this out. I figured Id go with her just to check it out for myself since my friends and I trying to find a new place to lift. First off they pressured my girlfriend throughout our tour and three times more when we were getting our "free passes." I made it clear to him that I was already signed up at another gym but had actually had this gym in mind since it seemed less crowded and was new. When we got to the counter my girlfriend was asked three times to sign up for their promo that was "ending today" (as usual) and she politely declined and said she wanted to try out the other classes and what the gym had to offer. He then said, "Why do you need three days?" She answered him explaining that she wanted to try out her Zumba class and maybe something else the next day. He stood there quietly and said, "Okay thats fine." As he was fidgeting with computer he turned and said, "I just dont get why you wont sign up today." I stepped in and explained to him that this was her first time seriously looking for a gym and she wanted to make sure this was the right choice. I was met with an attitude and he again said he didnt understand what three days compared to one would really do, and said he would only give us a one day pass. He said, and I QUOTE, "You not signing up today kinda *expletive* me over... Oh, excuse my language." Mind you that we were never rude to him or made any smart remarks while he was giving us a tour. Who in the world attempts to pitch to new customers and potential gym members using swear words? I will not deny that he had sparked my anger a bit and his manager had stepped in saying that he heard me swear at his employee, when in fact his employee had used three expletives while attempting to sign us up. Immediately I made a post on Facebook explaining my dreadful experience with this gym and a couple sets into benching I was met by the same people and was asked to leave for "defacing" their gym. AKA telling the truth. When I had asked what I wrote on Facebook that was a lie they said, "There are two sides to a story." Yeah the 2 potential customers or the two that are worried that my girlfriend and I are attempting to get 3 free days at their gym. As you can see from other reviews I am not the only one who has been treated and spoken to this way. These people are rude and unwelcoming. Honestly, what is 1-2 more days of someone testing out your gym going to affect your revenue compared to missing out on many potential customers due to your lack of respect and etiquette towards people. For anyone who is thinking of joining this gym, do yourself a favor and make sure that youre ready with your credit card and pen to sign that dotted line, or to them youre just a Free 3 day using guest that has 0 interest in their gym. If I could Id give your gym and your management 0 stars.

Let me say...Ive been a member for the past year and work out at the Falls Church location. But, since this one is near where I live, I decided to start working out at this location. By far...the most unprofessional staff Ive ever encountered--from the membership manager to the club manager. My daughter who is 16 and also a member tried using one of the 3 day passes by bringing in her friend and they refused to let her use the facility stating that she is a minor and needs her parent to sign her in. Even though the contract I signed clearly states that as long as the member who is an adult signs the waiver, any guest can be brought in, the membership manager continued to repeat himself like a broken record and refused to let my daughters friend work out. News flash Fairax club....this is not the way to get new members. I can assure you that this potential member will not be joining this club anytime soon. And, as far as Im concerned, I will continue to work out at the Falls Church location as their staff is BY FAR much more professional. To any potential members...save yourself time...either sign up at Xport down the street or if you absolutely sold on 24 hour, then sign up at the Tysons or Falls Church location.

At distance of 4.5 miles from my home in Fairfax city, during rush hour traffic at a 15 minutes and non-rush hour at less than 6 minutes drive is this new 24 hours fitness facility opened less than a few months back. This 24 hours gym has already whisked away thriving fitness business formerly dominated by just a few players. My few days of tryout had me sold already due to the 24 hours convenience, new equipment, cleanliness and efficient staff in the late hours of 10 PM. Several plans of payment fit everyone’s budget based on every individual needs from casual gym goer to burn few extra calories to serious body builders needing fitness trainers. It’s a serious gym for individuals with limited time and laser focus to their fitness goal, no sofas or TV lounges to hangout unlike other gyms. In addition to full set of weights, Wi-Fi integrated cardio machines, even fairy large basketball court and 3 lanes swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room for all at the price of $45 a month. Bargain listed on their website.

I was visiting from out of town and have been a 24 hour fitness member(in California) for years. Was highly disappointed with this place, Staff was incredibly rude. I was unaware that my member ship was not super sport like this club however when I came in the guy in front was very rude and at first would not explain why I wasnt allowed entry. After I finally understood the situation I wondered if I could just use a guest pass, or just pay for the one time I was there, however I was met with hostility and unprofessionalism from the staff member. The way they treat their loyal customers says a lot about them. There was hardly anyone in this gym which is usually nice however I think it says a lot about the crap quality this gym has to offer. By far THE WORST 24 HOUR FITNESS I HAVE BEEN TO and I have been to a lot. I will not be returning

24 Hour Fitness in Fairfax is great. The staff greets you as you enter. I met with Steve who was nice and gave me a good deal to sign up. He waived the first months fee and reduced my initiation fee which brought it to about $76. He gave me a 5 days trial and that if I wasnt satisfied I could cancel and get a full refund. Sadly, I had to cancel because Im in school full time and cannot afford the monthly fee. The monthly fee is $50. I called to cancel and was confirmed the refund. However, I highly recommend this gym if you have the budget because it is less crowded, has a large space, and the staff is friendly. My free health consultation with Armond went well too and he seems like a good trainer. Each personal session with a trainer costs $85.
