This is the only gym I prefer besides the one by Amfit Way in midlothian. I go all the time, but it gets three stars because of the way their employees have treated me. There was, could still be a bald headed man who used to not let me in to work out. Then I dropped my retainer one time by the outskirts of the hot tub and Millie the so called aquatic director had the guts to tell me she saw it and didnt do anything with it. I understand its not in the job description to pick up lost articles but a little common courtesy goes a long way. I also think they need to get some kind of silencer or redo the pump which encircles the hot tub its loud to the point where it gets unbearable after some time

Well I loved this gym but found that because I was forced to cancel a previous contract due to needing to move away and I was supposed to pay some moving fee of a $100 four years ago my current contract is now terminated without any prior knowledge. I would have never known if I had not called to make a payment for my current membership. I was just at the gym on Saturday, and have been going regularly for the last month and a half and no one said anything. So I guess if you ever have to move they will not be happy with you. It wasnt even asked if I wanted to add the balance due to my new account so I could have a clear balance and keep coming to gym. I am so upset.

The Management at this location are very unprofessional which results in a clouded environment for member who are visiting to reach goals. I personal do not expect to hear negative feedback given to associates while Im being help. April should really brush up on professional conduct in the work place as well as her attire. Considering the environment she should be dressed in such a way to appeal to both WOMEN and men who attend this location. This is not the club. The best help ive received are from the people who no longer work at this location. I will be visiting other American Family locations before I decide if I would like to cancel my membership.

Ive been a member of AmFam for about 1 year now and i cant really complain. This location is always clean. Doesnt smell like a musty dirty gym, unlike some of the other locations that i have been to. The staff is polite, they dont always look that approachable as they tend to hang with the regulars, but if you have a question they will answer and help you as much as they can. Overall I enjoy coming to this gym, doesnt get as crowded as the others that are around. It is smaller, but i think thats what i like about it the most!

Used to love this gym. Was very military friendly and would find a way to help those of us who are active duty find a good gym to use when we were away from our duty station. The membership director I spoke with today pretty much told me I was wrong and that there was no deal ever offered to military (which I in fact utilized last year). So, she pretty much told me I lied and there was nothing she could do for me, and hung up. Wont be recommending this gym in the future.

It was very nice to see American Family Fitness move in to Virginia Center Commons mall after the Dillards closed here. Huge space, and they use the area very well. AFF has great starter plans that our daughter took advantage of when first joining, and she likes AFF very much (though she no longer lives in this area). Nice staff. Excellent plans. Great location.

Everyone is friendly and very helpful at this location. The gym is always clean with a pleasant odor. The work out machines are new and always in great working condition. I do not however like the 20.00 for a single day pass if you bring a friend.

Having reliable childcare is a huge perk! My little man always seems content, and happy after his time spent with the Kidzone staff. Also, having readily available cardio equipment (without a wait) is always something I can count on.

I love this American Family Fitness. Its never too crowded to get a good workout in. The classes that they teach are not overbooked either. The staff has always been very friendly and professional. Very clean facility.

My experience thus far has been great. I work a job that stays open late and this has been the best place that is open that late/early to come and workout. The facilities are huge and offer a lot more than other gyms.
