What a horrible experience. I signed up for this gym through Globalfit. I had all of my paperwork so I went in Friday morning to get my card and get things started. Upon arrival the owner was training someone and she walked over to me and I let her know why I was there. She said I should come back Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday and that I shouldve made an appointment. She also said that its stated in the paperwork that I should make an appointment to sign up/get my card. I looked over the paperwork afterwards and that was not true. Globalfit also stated that wasnt true. She said call and make an appointment or leave a voicemail or whatever. Then she said its not like you were going to come tomorrow. She said that because we are due to get snow tomorrow, but actually I was going to work out that evening thats what I was hoping for. She spoke to me in a very condescending manner. Like she could care less if she had my membership or not. I initially was so excited to start this new journey and she just wiped that away within a two minute time period. When I left I sat in my car for at least 30 minutes because I could not believe that I just experienced that. I just felt like my spirit was broken. Finally, after much thought, I called Globalfit and I cancelled my membership. I just hope that everyone doesnt get the same treatment as I did.

Let me start out by saying I travel A LOT for work. I work in hospitality management so Im always somewhere new and love Anytime. Ive gone to lots of Anytime gyms all over the US. I can safely say Ive NEVER been treated as horribly as I did here. This time I was traveling with a friend who is not a member. I scanned my fob key and we didnt take two steps in the door when what I assume to be the owner jumps off the treadmill and rudely says to scan the second fob key. Well shes my guest so we intended on signing her in! I explained this to her and she said "thats not how we do things around here. She needed to come through the guest door". We had barely walked in the door and the owner was accusing us and making assumptions that we were not going to get a guest pass (which is only $7, give me a break). Let alone, I dont even live in the state. How am I to know that she walked through the wrong door? When we were filling out the paperwork she had a HORRIBLE attitude and was extremely snooty. I highly recommend Anytime Fitness, but DO NOT sign up at this one!!! If I could give this gym less than one star I would.

As a personal trainer having conducted over 62,000 sessions it is my professional opinion that Anytime Fitness Glen Allen VA is #1 in their creativeness loyalty to their member/ clients and overall integrity to lead the members of their community into happier healthier and longer lives...you have not experienced a fitness facility until you experience THIS Anytime Fitness!

Been a member for three years, and I cant think of a single gripe about this location. I dont think Ive had to wait on a piece of equipment ever, and Im going right after work in the 5:30 to 7:30pm window. If keeping your head down and knocking out a workout is your thing, then this might be your place.

The women that run this gym are exceptional and very cognoscente of the operation of a gym. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and their equipment is in excellent condition as well as extremely clean. You could not go wrong by choosing this facility.

Most rude and incompetent staff in a fitness facility Ive ever met. They need to work on their manners and communication skill. I will talk down this business anytime I talk to someone about it. Disgusted.

Very clean and a very diverse amounts of machines. I tend to go early in the morning and always have everything I need. It is obvious that the owners care about their members.

Had problems with pass keycard working. Facility seems nice enough IF you can manage to get inside. Ridiculously hard to get in touch with staff. Would not recommend.

The gym itself is nice, its just that the owner Lauren is a bigot and has no issues discriminating against anyone who might be a little different.
