This company was the worse agency ever, I spoke to Dan and he lied saying he has not recieve my emails. After 2 full weeks this man lies and said he has not recieve my emails of resume which he himself ask me to email it to him, I kept on calling and out of frustration from not talking to anybody professional I couldnt help but tell the frontdesk (goodluck callimg on noon because this FD also do not care of what your calling for) my experience so she can give me other people in the office instead yet she transfered me to Dan, after speaking to him he said he is not going to work with me because I was nasty, wow, another lie dan and his biggot reaction once more was confirm. Thinking I could get somewhere and spoke to Kelly Crowe Omg, made another huge mistake this woman would not care a bit over what I would say and like im bothering her when all I want was to get me a temp job??? She was very nasty on words and short so I told Kelly to delete me on her system and stop emailing me job oppotunities she claimed; it was a blast email sent to thousand of people so when you respond she wont really care. Lesson learn stay away from this nasty people. The only reason why I called this agency was I moved back to VA and I was better off looking on my own!!!

After reading the reviews on google about NVT 1.5 years ago, I was afraid to start working here, but either they have changed or I am very optimistic because it has been a great place to work! As a staffing agency they have to come off strong i.e. give you a warning , because if you are late they are being represented as a company by you. One very late employee can mean lead to a canceled contract with the property management company and thousands of dollars down the drain. In addition a temp is covering someone who called out from the company, so if a temp calls out there is absolutely no coverage because the temp was the last resort. If you simply get to work on time/early and be polite and resourceful and only pick up a shift if you are sure you can work that day, then you will be fine. I have had a great experience with the staff-all of them, they really work hard at what they do and they are strict, but kind. Brian, Jeannie and all staff Thank you for all you do.

NVT staffing has their picks and chooses on whom they want to give permanent work to! I had worked for them from 2012-2013 on a consistent basis, I NEVER called out of my assignment until I was a year with the company and Kelly did not like it! I could not believe it after one year of commitment they gave me a warning for calling to say I was running late only once! In addition I was offer three times by three different companies to work for them permanently and they did not want to accept the offer for me! Of course NVT has to approve when a company want to basically buy an employee. I was very frustrated I felt like they wanted to keep me as a temp, so I had decided to leave the company after a year and a half, I stuck in their but they have specific people who they want for specific things and I did not like that at all!!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about NVT Staffing and Daniel Hunt!!! I was placed at a wonderful company very shortly after completing the vetting process. Little did I know that my very first assignment would materialize in an offer for full-time employment after only four months as a temporary employee! NVT and Dan left no stone unturned in helping me to get better assignments (and increased wages) while temping within this company, and they did their utmost to help me get the offer I desired. NVT made my transition from a temp to a new hire as smooth as possible. I refer all stellar candidates whom I come across to NVT without hesitation because I know they will be in excellent hands - plenty of opportunities, great companies, and great staffing agents to give you that personal touch! Ask for Dan Hunt!

NVT Staffing is run by very savvy entrepreneurs but it cuts too many corners in its working practices. These include making employees pay for their own uniform, trying to charge employees for training certifications (when it should be covering the cost of training), and forcing temps to chase the client for their pay instead of hiring a credit controller. NVT also has a system where temps compete with each other for shifts which creates anxiety and stress for the temp employees. Why does it need to do all this when it has a dominant position in providing temp workers for buildings in the DMV? One word: Greed. If you choose to deal with these people, I hope this review helps you to understand what its like to work for them.

The only good thing about this place is that they have jobs available everyday and you dont have to commit to just one place. For instance, if you are a student taking classes Mon-Thurs you dont have to work any days YOU dont want to or are not able to. The downside is...everything else. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful to their employees, and it seems they are not able to handle sudden change or they are unwilling to adjust. They are not very sympathetic to employees personal life and expect everything outside of work to fall into place and never affect their job. Life happens. Again, VERY unprofessional bunch. Try another agency, job seekers and companies a like.

NVT Staffing recently helped me find a job. I worked with Kathryn and my entire experience was extremely positive. Kathryn gave me lots of options on potential jobs and when there was one I felt was a good fit she quickly set everything up including phone interviews and in person interviews. She was always quick to respond to any questions and feedback I had. She always listened to what I had to say and fought for me to get the best benefits and salary. After a great process I eventually found a job that was a mutual good fit and she worked out all the details for me. I will recommend NVT Staffing to any of my friends and family looking for a job.

I started getting a little discouraged as I was still not placed after almost a month of registering with NVT. However, I just started a position that I am loving so far! It is at a corporate headquarters and I couldnt be happier. The hiring manager at the site is awesome. She already told me that my position will go full time if Im interested and they are big on advancement/promoting from within. I have had a very rough past year and NVT has provided me with a life changing opportunity. This is the stepping stone I needed to achieve my goals. I am very grateful!

Candidates Beware!!! I thought we were on track to hiring one of their temp to perm candidates. However, tonight I received a very unprofessional email from the Branch Manager, Paul. His email started by asking me if I sent them on a "Wild Goose Chase" because we had not made a decision in a week. He went on to say we are not serious and telling us how precious his time is and that he does not work for free. Oh and by the way mentioned building a relationship, NO that will not happen now! He has eliminated all his candidate from being considered
