On July 16th 2011, the technical repair man named Terry came to my home upon my request to work on my TV. He stated that he would have to take my TV into the shop to find out the problem and he would call me back once he identified the problem and run my credit card for the initial fee of $85.00 for coming out. He called me to run my credit card but I did not receive any additional calls about my TV problem. I called the company on July 29 2011 to find out the status of my TV. The receptionist had no idea of what my repair status was and stated she would call me back. I waited for her call but she never called me back. I called the following day which was a Saturday and no one answered and I left a message to return my call but, my call was never returned. I ended up going to the repair office on August 10th 2011 to get a face to face since my phone calls were not being returned. The office was messy and dirty, they had all the TV’s sitting on the floor propped up against each other with little to no protection between the TV’s. I asked the lady working there what the status was with my TV. She did not know and she called the repair technical to ask what the status was on my TV. He told her he had ordered a part and was waiting to receive the part in-order to repair my TV. They never bother to call me and tell me this information nor tell me how much it would be to fix my television. I asked her how much all this would cost and she quoted the price (which was reasonable) and told me it would be three week before the TV would be repaired. On September 2nd I called to find out the status of my TV repair and the receptionist again had no idea of what the status was and said she would call me back and never returned my phone call. After a few hours I called the office back and the receptionist then told me that the part they ordered did not fix my TV and asked me if I wanted to come and get my TV. Excuse me. Your repair guy came and got my TV so he should return it as well. Anyway she said she was going to set up a time to have my TV returned but again she never called me back to identify a time or day. On September 10th 2011 the repairman shows up to my house un-announced in his personal vehicle with my TV in his backseat, unprotected. My TV was dirty, with fingerprints and smudges all over it. It was bowing in the front and had scratches on it that were not there when I gave my TV to them for repair. The company had my TV for almost two months and I received it back in worst condition then when I gave it to them for repair. This place is located right outside a military installation and service members and civilians are giving their hard earned cashed over only to have their property not repaired and further damaged.

I was looking for TV repair places close by, and came across H&I via Google. Despite the review by Stormyeyes112, I decided to call them. Dropped off my Samsung 52" LCD to repair a power supply problem. (By the way, the shop was not in the condition as described by Stormyeyes112). I asked how long it would take, and Terry estimated that, if it were only a power supply issue, then it would be a one day turnaround. I called back the next day, and spoke with Dee. She quickly found the status of my TV. Capacitors and an IC were replaced, and I had my TV back two days later! I would absolutely use H&I again. Terry is a very competent technician and his rates are excellent ($250 to fix a $1500 TV = WIN).
