I visited Salon 730 for the first time this past weekend. I found the salon by a general web search for salons and began reading the few reviews that were available. I have to tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon. Easy to get to location in downtown Fredericksburg, nice salon, clean, very friendly receptionist, great feel to the atmosphere (professional, non competitive, non pushy, not product sales driven, no catty behavior, no gossipy/whispery/coded looks about other stylists or customers). Im telling you that I absolutely would recommend this salon, not to mention that for the quality of the cut and service I received, the costs are absolutely a great value. My stylist (which was random, meaning I asked for whomever was available) was Teddi Walker. Teddi was INCREDIBLE and gave me the best cut I have ever received, and I truly mean the best cut! She took the time to consult with me and actually listen as I attempted to explain through words and pictures what I was looking for in a haircut. Then she said that she could absolutely give me the haircut I was looking for, but she recommended a few variations to the cut I was looking for so that it would work with my style of hair (wavy and thick) and for the amount of maintenance/time it would take to work with the hairstyle at home. She was dead on in her recommendations! I had to choke back the smiles as I left the salon because I was so excited about the cut. Smiled all the way home, checked myself out in the mirror A LOT (LOL), check out other drivers to see if they were checking out the new doo because I was certain they must have been, I really felt that fabulous about it! Last night I wanted to see how the cut would look if I just let my hair air dry, so I hopped in the shower. Let my hair air dry with no product. Yeah it was still a great cut! Then I decided to take another shower in the morning so that I could attempt to recreate the blown dry at the salon look. While I did not get it exactly like the salon, I have to tell you.............yep the cut is still awesome! I was able to dry and style my hair own hair and it looked fabulous! The only complaint I have is that (unless I missed one around the other side of the building) the parking lot is small, 4-5 spaces I think. No big deal though because on the street parking was ample right outside the salon!

Every time I move, I dread having to find another hair stylist because usually I have to wade through three or four terrible ones to find someone decent. However, my first visit to Salon 730 hit a home run. Although I had to wait twenty minutes before my stylist was ready for me, it was completely worth it. Jennifer took plenty of time to look over my hair and talk about what I wanted before we headed over to the shampoo chair. I never felt rushed or ignored and at the end of my appointment my hair turned out exactly how I wanted. Many stylists in the past have decided that their ideas are better than mine and I walk out looking like a disaster. Once a stylist chopped ten inches off my hair when Id asked for a trim! I experienced nothing of the sort at Salon 730. Jennifer consistently asked me if my hair was looking okay as she went along. I felt like I had complete control. She also offered some great advice for improving volume for my usually flat, fine hair. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and kind to each other and everyone seemed to be either smiling or laughing. Great atmosphere, great people and great location. Please consider this salon. You wont be disappointed!

I am very particular about my hair- I like a shorter but stylish cut and have had a difficult time finding someone in Fredericksburg with the skills to give me a hair cut that works and always looks good. Until I found Salon 730 and Amie - I could not be more pleased. I have fine hair but a lot of it and Amie makes the most of my hair, the cut she gives me is so good I can style it myself with minimal effort and if needed, literally roll out of bed and shake it into place and go. In my opinion if your cut is good the effort to style and keep the style should be minimal. Amie listens to what I want and more importantly I trust her to cut it with just a small amount of input from me. She is incredibly talented and knows what she is doing. This Salons service is exceptional as well- they treat all of their Clients with respect and professionalism. When you go to a Salon you want to be treated as though your business matters to them. I would go anywhere Amie is but having her at this Salon is just the icing on the proverbial cake.

*Using my fiances account* - Marie Boltersdorf Absolutely wonderful group here. I recommend them to everyone I know that can get to fredericksburg for a hair cut. I have NEVER had a good experience with hair cuts until I came to salon 730... I was soooo nervous and made it clear to them that even when ive paid extreme amounts of money i always end up with a cut that looks bad and the stylists always cut more than I wanted, they were extemely sweet and reassuring and careful with me and my preferences to make sure I never had to be afraid of a hair salon again. The best part about them? They do not just make a half hearted attempt at whats in the photo you show them because guess what? youre hair more than likely isnt like that of the person in the photo. they work with your hair type and get you what you want and make it better! I love them and am willing to drive from woodbridge to go to them. Its been a long time since I am growing my hair out for the wedding but after the big day I plan to visit!

First of all I never do reviews- Two awful experiences here. Tried this place twice the first because I had just moved and these reviews. The second simply because I had a trip and my usual stylist at that point was unavailable . Both times just terrible. The first the stylist had no clue how to cut hair. Period. Layers are not a new , complex cut . The second time was a booking error on their part then the stylist had pure attitude and RUDE- the manager even emailed to apologize about everything (the only positive). Settled on just a cut- looked horrid. Ended up getting in after hours with my usual stylist somehow! She Couldnt believe I had just had my hair cut the day before . It is Not a relaxing environment , you feel very rushed and more like a time slot than anything. Over priced for such basic skills.

I just moved into town 2 weeks ago and was in desperate need of a hair cut. I had not had a hair cut in 2 years... Moved 3 times and new baby, no time...Lol!! Didnt know the area so I just "googled" hair salons in the area and came across Salon 730. Reviewed website and made a decision to make an appointment with Laurie. Went in and loved the enviroment! Very clean and people very nice. Laurie took me in and we discussed what I was looking for and she gave me her opinion. I wanted a major change... I think she cut off close to 11 - 12 inches and I LOVE IT! She did a great job! She really listened to me and took her time getting it right. Ive always said its scarier to go to a new salon than it is to go to a dentist...lol!! Ive already made a second appointment. Thank you so much!
