I scheduled a 2hr appointment for an updo - I have very long, thick hair so I knew it would take longer than usual. When I arrived, I was met by my assigned stylist - Karley at the front desk. She told me we had to hurry and asked to see my pictures of the hairstyle I wanted. I had not been told to bring any pictures and I told her this and that I had also scheduled us for 2 hrs instead of the normal 1hr updo appt time. She told me that both of these were incorrect - I was only booked for 1 hr and if I did not bring any pictures she could not help me. I was requesting a chignon - a low bun at the nape of the neck with some other strands of hair curled around it - very common but very pretty and classic. She was dumbfounded - she had no idea what I was saying and told me she had never heard of it - ever! And I was told when I booked the appt that she was the salons best at updos! Needless to say, I was very scared! Please keep in mind, I am the daughter of a wonderful hairdresser with an exclusive salon in FL; however, living in VA does not help to get my hair done in a pinch :( She took me over to their computer to pull up some pictures of the hairstyle on the internet - she suffered through trying to spell it several times - which only looked very bad for her. Finally we found some pictures - a simple google image search would have done it for her - which I kept telling her to no avail. After the initial problems, when she started working on my hair, she complained to me that I should have also been told not to wash my hair before the appt and that now she would have to take extra time to dry it. Despite my attempts to explain, she continued to complain constantly that my hair was too long, too thick, would not cooperate with her, had too many layers that would not do what she wanted, blah, blah, blah. She did not try to make any small talk with me or engage me as a customer, she kept rolling her eyes over her shoulder to her other hairdressers and assistants. She told me several times that she was worried I would keep her next customer, who she said was her best friend, waiting and that this other woman was her last customer of the day because of all the work they had to do. I very clearly got the message that I was a huge inconvenience and I left feeling battered and beaten down. On top of this, for the pleasure of having my hair done by Karley, I was charged $95. Please stay away, find another establishment to give the pleasure of your business.

I recently travelled out from DC, while I was on a business trip, to Leesburg. The salon booked me for a late appointment to accommodate my work day. Due to traffic, weather and all that,I was running late. The owners greeted me with smiles, made me comfortable and Jessica, the owner, proceeded to give me the best professional haircut I believe I have ever had. I was very pleased when I got out of the chair, and that does not always happen. She took the time to ask what I wanted and gave her opinion what she thought might work best with my hair. I only wish this salon was also in DC. I will be back as often as I can arrange my business trips around my haircuts. Thank You for your kindness. Steve

After reading the reviews, I thought that I would have a good experience at this salon. I was some what disappointed after the experience. I had booked a full foil appointment and when I arrived, the stylist only had time for a half foil since it had been booked under a half and not a full, I felt rushed throughout the appointment. I brought along a picture which should have helped but Im sure that I left the salon with hair darker than when I came in, surprising since I was trying to get to a golden blonde color. The bill also seemed a bit high for the services I received. $130 for a half foil and a blow dry?! Dont waste your time at this salon.

This salon is one of those great group of professionals who absoluately understand hair and how it works on your. I highly recommend Sarah. She is an amazing styling professional. who listens carefully, provides valuable advice, and always makes sure I understand what shes doing. I was having some styling problems, and she solved all of them! She gave me a cut that I know how to make look as good as she did! Highly recommend this shop, and particularly, Sarah!

I have never seen a salon floor so clean.... and I used to work in one. This place has absolutely excellent customer service and the quality is amazing. I especially love Sarah Poteat who cuts my hair... fabulous!! Small shop, but wow you get some service
