(12/1/2016) I hope that Matt the UPS Driver has something really awesome happen for him because he truly deserves it. If I knew his last name I would write a letter to the company to let them know what a kind and compassionate young person they have representing the company. At almost 6pm last night I found out that a customer did not recieve an important shipment for an event they were having last night. I immediately got on the phone with someone from UPS who told me for some reason the package didnt deliver because of driver error. I explained to this nice man that the UPS terminal wasnt too far from my house and if he could tell me if it was there did he think I could get the boxes. He told the chances of me getting those boxes were about as likely as winning the lottery but I got in the car and headed over there anyhow. I pulled in to the lot at about 6:27 and all the trucks were empty of drivers who had already finished their day and left to go home. But then I saw this young man getting out of his truck with his backback ready to go home and I waved him down. I told him that I had these packages for Dominion Raceway that were supposed to be there today and for some reason they didnt make it. I told him they were needed for an open house that night at the track and I didnt want to let my customer down. Without hesitation he said hed help me and took the piece of paper I scribbled the tracking numbers on and said hed be back. A few minutes later he returned to tell me he though he knew which trailer they were in but it would be a few more minutes if I didnt mind waiting. Of course I was happy to wait even though in my rush to get to the terminal I left the house without a coat and I was wearing short sleeves! The chance that I might be able to get the boxes to the track in time was looking much brighter than I thought! Indeed after about 20 minutes this guy came out carrying 2 large boxes. He was so pleasant and I could not thank him enough. He never acted like it was a bother even though I feel certain hed rather have been on his way home 30 minutes prior. He even told me to have a good evening when I drove off. I am so thankful that it was this young man who was there when I drove up. Somenone else could have been there and not felt like troubling themselves with my situation. Because of his actions he helped me make sure my customer was happy and they had what they needed for the event. I just feel so blessed! If anyone knows a young guy named Matt that drives a big brown truck thank him again for me!

If I could give UPS zero stars I would. Thanks UPS, why exactly do companies pay you to deliver items if you dont deliver and require customers to come pick them up. Oh and the business practice of only attempting delivery of items that require an adult signature during the day when adults are at work, really awesome. Really glad I get to leave work early and drive an hour past my house to go to you to get the package you were paid to deliver. Thank you for inconveniencing me and forcing me to adhere to your schedule rather than adjusting to adhere to a paying customers schedule. If I can at all help it I will never use UPS again, even if I have to pay double to us FedEx or some other carrier. And just so people dont think Im bitter, which I am, Im this upset because delivery was attempted on Friday 4 August 2017 and a Sorry we missed you notice was left, but was marked please sign this and we can leave it during the next delivery attempt. No biggie, understand. Signed and left on the door when I left for work this morning, 7 August 2017. I instantly got upset as I was pulling up to the house to see a second notice on my door and no package. This time the sorry we missed you was marked someone 21 or older must be home to sign for this. So the incompetence of the first driver and the change of expectations is what is so irritating combined with my only solution is to drive 45 minutes to pick up a package that UPS has been paid to deliver. Oh and asking for a delivery attempt later in the day, say between 3 and 4 pm, forget about it. Thank for sucking UPS.

I had to request my package that requires signature be place on hold for pickup, since I was on business travel. Doing so, incurs a fee, which I will have to pay when I pick up the package. The posted hours on the website for this facility state that they are open on Saturdays - they are NOT (I went there). It also states that they are open from 8-8:30 pm, again, they are NOT open those hours. Very difficult to get to this facility before 6 pm when you work outside of Fthe immediate area. I have made 2 trips to this facility, and will now make another tomorrow. Shipping via UPS is no longer a friendly experience.

Sitting here on my sofa, looking out my glass screen door, I notice something coming flying by the door. It was my package from Amazon! The delivery man didnt even take the time to lay it on the porch, he threw it onto the porch and sped off, thank goodness he was only a dvd in the package and nothing fragile. Cant describe the driver I only saw the back as he was spending off. What service, this matter needs attention.

Had to wait for WEEKS to get my package because "the delivery guy" didnt think my address existed so he took it upon him/herself to reroute it to a random address in a whole other state!!! But somehow the same person is able to deliver a package for my husband the very next day. Really??? Garbage. If this happens during Christmas hell will look tame compared to what I raise!!!

Very disappointed with this place. They dont open till noon. There were others complaining about the service while I was in there . No customer parking in the front I saw an elderly man carry his packages a long way while employees park in the front

Who is at home at 1034 on a Tuesday? They have the most inconvenient delivery times and are not open on the weekends. Most people in the DMV area get home between 4-6pm.

Hours state that they are open on weekends. They are NOT. Wasted time driving all the way down there before work to find they are CLOSED on weekends. Hours need updated!
