I had a small move and these movers were very slow. I was told a minimum of 10 days to deliver, initially scheduled for 13 days later, but after multiple delays, did not actually receive delivery until 29 days later. When doing payment by credit card, they wanted me to write down all my credit card information, including the CVV (yikes). They demanded this was the only way to have a signed receipt, but I was later emailed a digital receipt to sign, proving that was not the case. My belongings did arrive seemingly (still in storage) intact. Nothing was obviously broken, but at least one box was somewhat crushed (a heavy-duty box, mind you). I think the contents are probably fine, though - I pad liberally when I pack. After further interactions, I gave them an additional star. Parts of my bed had gotten misplaced during the move and I didnt notice at delivery - I thought they were bundled with other parts. When I discovered the problem, I called Max and they identified that they had found them and upon realizing they were mine, shipped them to me. I appreciated the additional effort in helping to make my move successful.

This was the worst moving company! My furniture arrived wet. The trailer was leaking that delivered my furniture to Texas. Tried to file a claim through the insurance company that MAX Moving has and never received any compensation. I had a beautiful desk approx.$400 value that was completely destroyed. Wrote it on the bills of lading... Took pictures.... The driver acknowledged the damage and still 4 months later not even so much as a response from Max moving.... They are rude unprofessional and everything changes once they have possession of your furniture.... Many unforseen details in their contact also that should be pointed out before signing.... Nevertheless this was a horrible experience dealing with these folks!

I picked this moving company because it give me the lowest price. However, I cheap company always give you cheap service. Never use this one!
