Exceptional after hours technical support via phone with David, the on duty tech, regarding our burst home hot water heater (HWH). A follow-up phone call came from Dwyer Dispatch at 0725 the following morning to have a technician come by our house to assess the situation and provide repair/replace options. Najib came to the house at 0800 and was supremely professional and courteous. He made recommendations based on the layout of our basement against a tankless HWH, despite me asking for this option. He patiently explained his reasoning and confidently convinced me that another tanked HWH was the right call. Aside from being fairly expensive, the work was done professionally and was complete, start to finish, in less than 4 hours. Najib did superior installation work, and then cleaned the area down to the last spec of dirt. This is our second very positive experience with Dwyer Plumbing, our first being a HVAC replacement in 2012. I would highly recommend Dwyer Plumbing to anyone in need of honest, friendly and professional plumbing/HVAC services.

They had intalled my HVAC unit and done a good/acceptable job two years ago. I called them to service the unit recently, they had plenty of appointment times open. The technician was on time and friendly, and went through his checklist, talking with me about what I could do for maintenance and what he recommended they come back for in the future. When he left though there was an extra $60 charge for a "vacuum flush" of my system. I had thought this was part of the basic service, but apparently it was not, AND the technician didnt inform me that doing it would be an added charge. They should have explicitly asked about performing and charging for any service beyond what I was expecting. Also it was just literally the technician hooking up a vacuum to the input and output lines, and took him 5-10 mins max, and he charged $60. Kinda ridiculous. I likely wont go with Dwyer in the future--Home Depot actually has a decent deal on HVAC maintenance, and they service all units

I recently used Dwyer Plumbing to service a failed AC system. They were responsive and did the job, but when it came to the bill I couldnt get a straight answer on how they came up with the number. First it was hourly, then a flat fee of $1500 (to replace the circuit board and blower motor -- under warranty), then finally $1100. Even after talking to the service manager twice and the owner once, I couldnt get an answer about hourly rates (if the bill was based on per-hour charges) or average repair times (if the bill was based on fee-per-service), and I was told by both the service manager and by the owner that either method of billing was used! When I sent a letter asking for clarification on their billing practices, they threatened to send it to collections. Dwyer Plumbing seems to be just making up numbers, hiding their true service costs, and hoping consumers wont look too closely at the bill.

Dwyer is a first-rate company. I had the Fall/Winter inspection of my system and all checked out. The tech was excellent and arrived on time and did his work within a reasonable and expected amount of time. Several days later I turned on my heat for the first time this winter. I thought it made a noise that was louder than I remembered. When I called Dwyer a week and a half later, they dispatched a different tech to me, who arrived on time and was terrific as well. He explained how the system works, inspected it, and sent me additional info about my system by text. Both techs were excellent. I paid for one service, but Dwyer made sure I was happy by sending the second tech at no cost. I am impressed and appreciative.

When I called the person who took my call was very nice and pleasant. However the guy who came to my house to see my problem was not pleasant and did not even put anything to cover his shoes. Not nice! Also did not even check the pipeline. He just said need to pay 230 dollars to sneak the pipe line that was clogged. Paying $65.95 was a rip of for him just to show up in my house. Not only that he was telling me that I have to pay $232.00 to fox the problem. I understand I have to pay if I decide to go with the service. He should at least go and look at the problem. I would not recommend this company to any one.

Excellent service, yet again. This time in the midst of 19 days of record breaking heat my AC was dead! Called at 9am- told service would arrive between 2-5pm and call half an hour before arrival. Called at 4, here by 4:30, evaluated problem (a wire burned out from electrical surge during thunderstorm) fixed wire, checked all, electronic payment to my online account and was gone by 5:15. My email receipt was another plus- no paper to file! Frank has been the repairman on several of my calls and he couldnt be more pleasant, polite, neat and knowledgeable. What a pleasure to have Dwyer as my HVAC Contractor.

Ive used Dwyer Plumbing for many years. Ive always been impressed with their customer service women and their technicians in their quality of work, their knowledge and most importantly Ive been impressed with how eager they are to work with the homeowner to do the very best job and at the same time save them an expense, if possible, where ever possible. They are very dependable, arriving when scheduled and if running late, you will receive a call notifying you of such. I highly recommend them every time someone asks me for a good plumber. I hope they never go out of business!

Top notch professionals that have seen me through a lot of issues with the jury-rigged hot water heater I inherited when I bought my condo. They finally replaced it with the "right" kind last month and did a great job-- some extra work was needed but the total was within 10% of the estimate. They are also happy to work in condos, unlike some other local outfits. Not cheap, especially if you have an emergency after 5pm, but the important thing is they are responsive and know what theyre doing.

Ive used Dwyer for several jobs over the last few months--replacing gas pipes, new furnace, new hot water heater, moving ducts, installing sink & toilet, etc.--and am always pleased with the service. The Dwyer team is responsive, is flexible in scheduling, provides accurate estimates, and does quality work. Everyone Ive interacted with--from office staff to on-site technicians--are genuinely nice people. As long as Im in Northern Virginia, Ill use Dwyer.

We needed HVAC work and DWYER came recommended by a real estate agent of whom we think highly. Dwyer must have wanted to make a good first impression because they clearly sent their MOST experienced technician who did a wonderful job. We have a hybrid system and the heat pump was working fine but the gas furnace would not kick in like it was supposed to. The technician made it work! We were so impressed we signed up for the maintenance plan.

My first impression when making the appointment was a good one. I called them because I had a flier in the mail with a discount and needed our shower faucet fixed. She offered another discount telling me they will use whichever one saved me more money. I appreciated that. Our plumber was Luis and he was great. He fixed our faucet in a 2 hour window and was very pleasant. I would definitely call them again for another plumbing issue without fail.
