Evidently Base Camp Realty doesnt train their agents on BUSINESS ETHICS. Based upon our experience, if Base Camp Realty and/or Mike OReilly is the agent representing a property you are interested in, dont bother having your agent write an offer!! Shame on them for their actions._____ Agent Mike OReilly will not return calls or emails to your agent (while he drops the MLS price significantly in order to work your offer against another buyer) ... then mysteriously the property has been sold._____ If BaseCamp is the representing agency on a house you have interest in, make an offer on a different house or you will waste your valuable time. See our experience for yourself below:_____ _____Submitted offer on Thursday _____Received immediate notice from Mike OReilly that "Multiple offers had been received so submit our BEST OFFER". WOW!! Property on market for 6 weeks and magically multiple contracts were received the same Thursday as ours. [[ Ethics Anyone?? ]] _____Didnt believe the the agent so we held strong with our offer _____Immediately received a counter offer from selling agent, Mike OReilly, for $6000 additional _____We offered $1500.00 additional to work together to find a selling price that worked for both parties, but NEVER RECEIVED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR FURTHER NEGOTIATE _____(This proves Mike OReilly was lying to us about multiple offers): The next business day the MLS price on the house was dropped $10,000.00 and Base Camp Realtors were witnessed parading new clients through the property. All this to create a bidding war based upon our intital offer. _____IF WE KNEW THIS WOULD BE THE CUT-THROAT RESPONSE by Base Camp Realty.... WE WOULD HAVE NEVER MADE AN OFFER. _____Despite our communication requests: NEVER HEARD FROM Mike OReilly AGAIN UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER TO TELL US THE PROPERTY SOLD!!! Mike OREillys exact words to our agent regarding his Non-Communication, MLS Price drop of $10,000 and parading his agents in with potential buyers and create a bidding war: "Well your client DID HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SUBMIT THEIR HIGHEST OFFER". How arrogant is that?!?! ____A house purchase is a stressful and emotional experience for a family, why would any agent behave in this matter? Im very dissapointed in Base Camp Realty and Mike OReilly. Their unethical tactics are a distasteful example of the greed in todays world. Shame on them for their behavior.

From beginning to end BaseCamp Realty out preformed EVERY expectation I had. John OReilly and Darla Hall are by far some of the best in the area. They were able to negotiate a very fair price and favorable terms that allowed me to purchase an amazing home well below market value. The home was a foreclosure and in need of several repairs prior to closing. John and Darla were on top of the contractors that made the repairs daily and insured my interests were protected. John and Darla were able to get me from first viewing to closing (Keys in hand) in under 8 weeks. I am extremely pleased with my experience and have already referred friends AND family to them. We just started the buying process with Base Camp and so far are very pleased, especially since we are looking in an area that is long distance from them. We loved the office, the board room had a huge monitor, and our agent Nate used it so that we were set up with all of our criteria in under an hour. Much better than a bunch of adults huddled around a laptop. He has already set up multiple listings to visit, in under a week! I really appreciated the attention the head guy John OReilly gave us as well. If you have ever dealt with a non motivated real estate agent you can understand how positively refreshing this treatment is.
