I just moved to Midlothian from the city and changed my address to my new house on June 20th. I started to receive mail for 3 days and then all of a sudden it stopped. I had 3 different packages that were supposed to be delivered and hadnt been. I have the text updates and everyday they were scheduled to be delivered I was home ALL day in my livingroom with a huge front window to make sure I could see. I would be sitting there and would get a text that said they tried to deliver but it was undeliverable... Nobody drove by, nobody stopped, there was no package slip nothing and I rescheduled each package 3 times and still nothing. I tried going there and they said that the package was out for delivery and that they didnt have it there. I also told them about the missing mail all of a sudden and he said there was a hold placed by the previous owner, well thats great but she doesnt live there anymore. Still havent received my mail for 2 weeks and my package that was supposed to be delivered on June 20th is still missing. Oh and bonus I have called their main number everyday at several different times each day for two weeks and only get a busy signal so when I brought that up he said we are just super busy and I told him to check to make sure the phone is okay and he laughed.... so if anybody has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated....

A wonderful & professional post office in my experience of over 40 years receiving service, often of the above-the-call-of-duty variety. There are many friendly, helpful and efficient personnel working at this particular branch of USPS. However, yesterday, Sept. 18, 2017, the carrier failed to pick up OR deliver the mail to my address. Was my delivery missed in oversight or was it an intentional dereliction of duty? Who knows? So much for "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." An efficient postal service, like so many other qualities in our lives, seems to be becoming "of an era past " : no longer a priority , no longer valued, no longer respected, and soon to be allowed to be forgotten.

The worst lately. Yes we had snow this weekend, so they didnt deliver my 4 packages on Saturday. Tracking says exception that they left a note, they didnt, they didnt even try to get into the neighborhood. Todays Monday, our roads are pretty clear and everything is melted. They posted "Delivery exception Customer not available or business closed - Please contact local Post Office to pick up or reschedule delivery" which is BS we were here they didnt even try to deliver again with no reason. Tried to call and see why they didnt deliver and if they will tomorrow, but as usual the phone is off the hook. Of course this is in addition to them delivering our mail to the wrong address and mutilating stuff they cram into our box which is the norm.

Attempted to ship a gift to a friend in West Virginia, and paid extra for priority shipping only to have the package arrive at MY OWN doorstep. I took the package back to the post office where they tried to tell me it was fault and that a computer scans the written address. I have a family member that works at a different branch in Richmond and she explained that their explanation is a lie. The woman who originally entered the shipping information at the counter put my address in instead of the other address. By the way, my package was labeled "TO" and "FROM" in big letters. Apparently reading is not a requirement for this job...

I cant stand this post office. Every time I have a packaged delivered to me that has to be signed for it is the worst experience ever. I was at home all day today and was waiting on a package. The mail deliverer didnt even get their lazy butt out of the car to deliver my package but instead left me a note to come pick it up at the post office. I go to the post office to pick it up and was told that it is still on the truck with the lazy mail deliverer. Oh and that the post office is now closed so I have to wait until tomorrow for my package. The fact that this keeps happening is beyond unacceptable.

This is absolutely one of the worst establishments you could ever go to. I dropped a package off there over a month ago to go back to Verizon now Verizon is charging me $500 because they never received my package and they cannot track it which means the post office never sent it out. When I go to the post office to find my package they tell me since the lady didnt give me a receipt they cant look for it and slammed the window in my face. The people there are so rude and poorly trained its not even funny. I will be filing a police report.

I love the "HOLD MAIL" service the Post Office provides. Only problem is that nearly half the time, they deliver the mail on the first day it is supposed to be held, and it sets in my box all the time I am gone. People use the service for mail security. No one wants their mail to set in their box for days on end, unattended. I have complained several times and they always apologize and promise to fix it. Unfortunately, the staff keeps changing and the problem doesnt get fixed. BE CAREFUL, about using this service, it is unreliable!

Couldnt deliver my package because Im home and mail man didnt bother knocking so my package couldnt be left due to no safe place to leave it but other packages were left next door n nobody lives there. Also no slip left for me to write on for them to leave or for me to take to post office for pick up. This post service sucks. Fourth of July is tomorrow so I cant even get my package till the next day maybe!!! Do better its your job

I had two day shipping that was supposed to arrive by 8pm tonight. The driver didnt even attempt to bring it to my door. They said the office was closed... well of course its closed. Its 7:30pm on a weekend! I dont even think they stopped by to try and deliver it. Tomorrow is Sunday and I wont have the package I needed this weekend because someone didnt bother to knock at my door or even leave a note anywhere.

This post office has the worst staff with the worst attitudes and delivers the worst service both on site and on their routes. I have pages and pages of complaints from my neighbors and folks from surrounding neighborhoods about the service, deliveries or lack of, theft and horrible customer service. Letters have been written, phone calls made and absolutely no resolution from our wonderful government agency!!

They are very rude. Plus you tell them mail is being delivered to you at the wrong address they laugh about it like its no big deal .I am getting everyone packages and mail except my own. light bill mailed a bill back on 19th today is 28th still no bill .Also they claim they tried to deliver a package yesterday guess what the letter is still in my mailbox they were supposed to pick up.worst experience ever
