Delivered our 2005 Nissan Armada truck to Free Miles Transmission on 2/15/16 for transmission repair. The manager Jim quoted it would be completed by end of week with cost estimate of no more than $3500. After 5 days, Jim contacted us and said he need additional 3 days to complete work and additional $300 required for extra work. Around 2/25/16, Jim called and stated the truck was fully repaired and ready for pickup. We paid $3800 in full and picked up the truck within an hour. Drove the truck home and next morning the truck repeated the same issues from when we gave them the truck. Immediately called Jim, who sent a tow truck to retrieve the truck. He stated the replacement part was faulty and he needed to contact Nissan and replace the same part. Again he stated 1 week to fix the issue. We called a week later and Jim stated he needed another week due to employee issues. We called a week later and Jim stated he needed 4 more days. We went to the shop on 3/17 and Jim was not there nor was the truck repaired. The truck was sitting in the parking lot untouched and not repaired. When we asked why it was not ready/repaired we were told by Ishmael he didnt know and Jim wasnt there to answer. We requested management immediately AND requested a full refund along with them returning the truck via the same tow to our home. Ishmael contacted another Manager named Mark Abraham who claimed he would contact us within an hour to resolve the issue. We never received any responses nor service...nor a refund. We drove to the office multiple times and finally caught Mark A. However he told us another untruthful story that he would compensate us for our inconvenience. After another week of back and forth and calling to reach Mark or Jim, finally Jim calls us and say our truck was ready for pickup. When asked for the compensation for our inconvenience as Mark promised, Jim claimed he was unable to reach Mark for clarification. We never received a response nor refund for the extremely unsatisfactory service. Horrible service...horrible experience. Save yourself from using this company. Not reputable at all.

Rip off shop! I am still dealing with their rip off till today on my SUV. I paid $2100 cash to rebuild my transmission but after being rebuilt i notice the suv sounded louder while accerating and seems the gear is stuck at 2nd shift. The suv started jerking after few weeks. I took it back and they said it was ok.I knew it doesnt drive like it should and did not sound right because i dont even think i need a rebuild in the first place. It was just a selenoid that needed to be changed but he took advantage of me since he towed my suv from Virginia beach to Newport news.I could remember that he tried to trick me too on my receipt when i return to pick up my suv after he called it was done.He reduced warrantee mileage on the receipt which happened to be lesser than the original miles on the dash when i took it in.If not that i took time to read the receipts, i wont have caught that fraudulent act.I told him and he pretended as if it was a mistake and instead of him re-writing a new receipt,he tried to scribble on the receipt,he was writing on the already written wrong mileage, adjusting it and receipt looks crooked and messy.. .He knew the job he did was not gonna last so in order for me not to have any claim, he tried to manipulate the mileage figures on receipt. This guy is a really dishonest man.I strongly believe he swap my transmission which was still very good and went to junk yard and install a cheap no warantee transmission in mine.My SUV doesnt sound same before i took it in.My suv doesnt have a loud sound while accelerating, infact before i took it to him it has a very smooth and almost no sound while driving.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! They say they have free towing (if you get your car fixed with them), free loaner car (for maybe a week) but then they will take forever to supposedly fix your car, they claim they have financing....bunch of bull. They had my car for over a year and i gave them nearly 2000$ because i was making payments...They left my car in pieces and kept my money. owner lied to me and said that he would get the engine for a price and give me a warranty...then changed his mind and told me that it would be almost 1000$ more than he had orgionally quoted me and there would be no warranty on the work. I tried to sue but he reopened the business under a new name....what most con artist do...so i am out of nearly 2000 and my car is worthless. BBB rating is a F!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE ALL AROUND. JUST LOOK AT THEIR LOT AND HOW MANY CARS ARE THERE AND STAY THERE....THEY ARE TAKING PEOPLES MONEY AND NOT KEEPING THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THESE CROOKS.

I was offered a Job at Freemiles Transmission in Newport News. I walked out after a week of seeing the most dishonest and blatant scam artist in the world. The lot is FULL of cars that are comebacks and they wont be fixed anytime soon. They never completely rebuild a transmission, only a few parts but always charge for a full rebuild. They have some financing but if you cant get financed and cant pay cash, say goodbye to your car. They always say they can finance you but is it NOT a Gaurentee. If you by a rebuilt motor, well its not rebuilt. Its a salvage yard Motor that they clean and Paint!, Same with Transmissions. If you look at the Positive reviews, They NEVER have a last name included. They are fake. All their advertisment is fake. If you have a car at freemiles simpley go down and see your car. It probably has not been touched if its back for warrenty work. I cant wait until a news channel or some kind of fraud group nails them.

Free miles is a shop that is full scheming and conniving liers out to get your money, I bought a car from them for $1500 and was told that the car had a rebuilt transmission but the car has no paper work to show for the service so basically its ruled out to be a lie second time I drove the vehicle the transmission started jerking and slipping which a rebuilt transmission will definitely not operate like this, the car was only worth 900 to 1000, so the people of Hampton roads I am speaking to you do not buy or have your car repaired here it is not worth it be smart and go some where else please not here. As for Mark and Jim do the entire Hampton Roads a favor, stop selling people your junk fake repaired service and cars and file for bankruptcy and go out of business, you give mechanics a bad name and are not worthy of the trade.

OK so I was not going to write a review but I think its necessary , first I recommend no woman deal with these men they talk slick to you to get you to let them work on your vehicle then they mess up other parts of your vehicle and wont fix it. So far my vehicle is still running but from them doing whatever they did on my truck they now my shifting is not working properly, they wont admit that came from them messing with my transmission either so the warranty they five you is crappie and the prices they show online is to sucker you in dont believe it youll end up between $2500 and $3500 bill. If your transmission is slipping get rid of the vehicle and definitely dont call these people .
