I went to get a few things done on my car.. custom paint, new wheels,new sound system... and heres the list of things gone wrong with my car. I paid $4900 for this plus a few other custom jobs on a 2007 Hyundai tiburon se. Body/paint: Spotty paint Hood and roof not painted Tint not fixed New scratch on door side of mirror Sound: $1400 sound system? Nope. Purchased full component set, only got stereo head, subs and amp. Ordered JBL amp and subs, got some $80 amp and $50 subs All were used, but paid full price. Service: Car was driven almost 300 miles Dropped car off with full tank, picked it up with a quarter tank and an empty dunkin donuts coffee cup. Was told jobs would combined take one week, but took two Things I purchased were NOT written on the ticket. When I asked Anthony to write everything down, he told me "this is just your copy, Ill write up another copy for the shop with everything you ordered." That didnt happen, and now I have no proof that I ordered those things. Im not giving a rating, but you can build your own opinion on these things. Also, military, DONT GO HERE.

Concerning "blacklist" issue. East Coast requested a meeting with the Navy to address this rumor. The statements circulating were found to be unfounded, and perhaps Mr. Teague does not understand that this is a libelous statement to put out on public media! We were offering financing through NEX cards because of substantially lower interest rates, however, we no longer offer this due to the crazy rumors. We have helped many sailors not only to address mechanical needs, but we have helped personally. We have loaned our personal vehicles to sailors and visiting family members, provided furniture to struggling sailors and wives, and re-homed many pets for those who could not keep. We provide labor discounts to sailors, and have done many mechanical and paint jobs for sailors at a loss. This is not to mention the many sailors that we allowed to pick up vehicles with a balance pending only to never hear from them again. Please check your facts before smearing our name, we do work hard for our customers.

Would give this place zero stars. Customer service suck. They messed up my car. Every time I get my car back from them it's another problem with it. I'm suing them. WARNING!! Please be aware of this scamming business very unprofessional and the mechanics are not experienced at all. This place installed a starter on my car and blew my altenator which caused me too go to triple a and pay 700$ for a new altenator because this place installed my starter wrong and had the wires all screwed up. WARNING DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

One of the worst shops I have ever been to. You are better off going to your primary dealership because in the end these scandalous people will have you paying much more than the initial quote. And most of the time they say they have to order a part because they dont have it in stock, and the ETA for that part will be "hopefully today or tomorrow" and itll end up being 3 days. Also, location wise it is in one of the ugliest and most unsafe neighborhoods in Norfolk. Pray you dont get your car boosted, vandalized, etc.

They get one Star for turning on the lights n the morning and opening the doors .Joe Trapani is a rip off 99% off the time if you are a ODU student your good . If you are active duty Military Watch Out they will gladly tell you were the closest ATM is or How you can afford 50$ a pay check they are civilians we get paid every two weeks 50$ a pay check for us is realy 100$ or more every pay check which is 200$ or more a month.Then on top of that the work sucks you know what they say about sunshine on a dogs @$$

Worst place I ever been to. I brought my car there to have my engine rebuilt. While my car was there someone broke into it within the second week of it being there. I did not receive a phone call telling me anything about it. 6 month later my window is still broken and my car is still not fixed or returned to me. None of the good reviews are real. They were written by employees of East Coast. They are liars who keeps telling people they car will be done on numerous dates which never happens.

Had some suspension work done on a 00 Lincoln Navigator. I don;t like using mechanics - I prefer to do the work on my own, but I did not have the time. They were tremendous! I will use them again even if I do have the time to do the work myself. Good prices for the work done, responsive to calls asking about status, quick turnaround, and very responsive to my detailed questions. Saved the parts they replaced w/o me asking so I could see the work done.

My radiator blew after the extreme heatwave we suffered while on my way to work. Because the garage opens at 630 am, I had my car towed here. I got my radiator replaced and tested in a matter of hours and picked it up the same day. There were no lies, no exaggerated fees or days in the garage. Great service and I even got a military discount on labor! Extremely pleased and will use again.

this shop blows ... thier nothin but a bunch of liars they told my buddy the would put an engine in his truck ..theyve had it for 3 months and everytime he called them they said they were doin something on it..... and now they said the cant do work on it and they havent even touched it for the whole 3 months it was there

NEVER GO HERE! Ripped off, Stolen parts that i paid for ($300+) and they begged me not to report it to my insurance company, which i did. They also shut their doors and changed their name conveniently after i did so. A BUNCH OF THIEVES! NEVER GO HERE!

Took my car in for an engine rebuild, was told 2-3 months MAX and $3,800-$4,000. It took 6 1/2 months, and $5,000. Constantly have to call to keep them from forgetting my car needs to be worked on-many times never answered the phone/returned my calls.

These guys are thieves!!!! Did a great job installing my system, but stole a $125 pair of sunglasses and a cd out of my car. I guess giving them over $1000 worth of business wasnt enough....
