My boyfriend has been bringing his suits here for years. Recently, he brought in a white linen/blend suit that got covered in mud and grass (he and a friend were horse-playing and fell on the ground). He figured the suit was a loss and didnt try to home treat it or bring it in for at least a month. Barretts was able to completely clean it! Im sure it took some elbow grease and magic, but hes very happy they could fix it like new again. They were also helpful in letting him know there was some moth damage on a different suit. Ive definitely seen little moths in our house but never paid attention because I thought they had just snuck in with going and comings of people and our pets. We made sure to treat our closets/rooms for it now because the cleaners let us know. Their prices are comparable to most places around town, but the service and workmanship makes them better! They do have coupons on their website and facebook page so check those too!

They did a fantastic job! I had a dress that desperately needed some TLC due to my self tanner rubbing off on it. I tool the dress to another cleaner who was not able to handle the job. Not only did S Ray cleaners get out the tanner, but made the dress look new again! The communication was fantastic, once again, referencing the dress, they werent able to get all the tanner out by simply dry cleaning it, so they called me and asked if I would be comfortable with them trying another cleaning process to get the rest that was left over. Great staff and great service, this is now my go to dry cleaning place!

What a wonderful DRY CLEANERS to have in the area! I had a full length wool coat cleaned recently at their Virginia Beach location and it came back looking as new. And the counter person was very helpful and friendly-what more can you ask for? Excellent service and I prefer a private owned business like this over those "chain" type cleaners because in my opinion they take the time to listen to my concerns! A+ .

Ive been taking all my dry cleaning to S. Ray Barrett for the last 6 years. I dry clean a batch of clothes every other month, so Ive been going there frequently. Of all the times Ive been, Ive never had missing buttons, broken zippers, missing clothes, etc. Although they are a bit pricier than other cleaners, my clothes look great. Ive tried nearly all other cleaners, and the quality cannot be matched.

No job is too big or too small for S Ray Barretts. Their knowledge of the industry is second to none. The front counter employees always greet you with a smile and they take a personal interest in you. They know your dogs name and the last vacation you took. That coupled with the excellent job they do on my clothes, table runner, etc. will have me going back for all cleaning needs.
