Not only is this particular dry cleaner service particularly expensive, and particularly time consuming (why does it take 7 days to return a shirt?), but they have ruined no less than three of my white dress shirts, and that number could rise to six or seven depending upon how picky and cheap I will be in replacing what I have. The collars of these shirts have a faded yellow strip, right where the fold would be for your tie. This isnt a matter of me using 17 year old shirts. Some are old--though not 17 years old--while others are practically new and have been worn no more than twice. Whatever they are doing to the shirts is ruining them. Unfortunately, I didnt realize what had happened until after moving out of the area, as I did not work for two months while changing jobs and relocating. Otherwise, I would have went in there and lodged a more formal complaint, for all the good it would have done.
