TRASH! I have never seen such a bad company. I cant find anything good to say about my experience. I rate them a "0". They damaged 4 pair of my jeans and 3 pair of my brothers jeans. 4 Polos shirts were still dirty and 1 had stains that werent there when I dropped them off. My jeans are so faded that they can not be fixed. Just ridiculous. The manager on duty was completely unprofessional. They have no sense of professionalism. So I had to make efforts to contact the owner. they refunded my money...$16. Which isnt much compared to the damage they caused. I got in touch with the owner and he was so unprofessional himself...its no wonder his business is the same. Just ridiculous. Im a business owner myself and I have 8 google reviews and a 4.7 star rating on google and its for a reason. Because I carry myself and my company to be highly respected. The owner said that he would re-wash my jeans for me...LOL! Thats the reason my jeans are messed up now. HELLO!!! I took them there to be dry cleaned...I can wash them myself. He said that in the back of the jeans it says not to dry clean. My response to that: Are you serious man? Well every other dry cleaners in the Hampton Roads must ignore that for a reason. He must have just got trained. Definitely is not a master of the dry cleaning industry. He probably has never even read any of these reviews and probably doesnt even care what people have to say. Probably just laughing all the way to the bank. Im debating whether I should pass this to my lawyer...it will cost me about $200 to replace the damaged jeans. The polos can be cleaned at my normal cleaners...Albano. I guess you get what you pay for. Total cost was $16 to clean all the clothes at Zips. Would have cost about $40 at Albano Cleaners. I would have rather paid $40 to get my clothes done right. Now I gotta waste my time and money to go get some new jeans. Yeah I think I may see what my lawyer has to say about it. Peace and God bless to all of you and put a prayer in for this poor business owner. Lord knows he has his hands full of complaints. I dont know how he deals with it. I would never run my companies like this.

My experience was unprofessional and unacceptable. I went to pick up garments for my mother and apparently left 1 piece on the pickup rack. My mother called to see if they had the garment and was advised by Ms Keisha, the supervisor that "it is the customer responsibility to make sure they have all of their clothes. First of all that is very unprofessional and unacceptable coming from management and representing the Zips brand. I asked if 3 employees of the company picked up this garment and there was research done along with looking at some tape, would it have been protocol for a manager to give a call to a customer who use this service quite often? I was advised it would have been against the employees job and they can not do that. WOW! Being in managment myself, this is something that I would not have said to any customer whether it is the first time or 50th time visiting your business. I totally understand policy and procedure and it sounds like that was followed; however, when working with the general public customer service is very important whether we feel like the customer is right or wrong, and I did not get this from this establishement. From reading other reviews, this is not the first time there has been a complaint or concern about the people who is left in charge and represents the owners and the brand. People make mistakes since this was a honest error, I really think it should have been handled more better. I hope this email reaches the corporate office and I hope after my mother pick up her clothes she does not go to this company again if this is how she will be treated.

I called today to ask some basic questions before I went to drop off my husbands military uniforms, only to speak to a very unprofessional and rude employee. I was so very polite, only to get treated disrepectfully over the phone. This woman was very short and rude to me and I can only imagine how she she speaks to impolite customers. I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times because she was talking so fast and short that I could not understand a word she said. She sounded busy and she probably was being that I called at 12:33 on my lunch break. Needless to say, because of your rude, short, and unprofessional employee, I took my business else where. After looking at the reviews of this place, it didnt come to me as a suprise. I went to payless cleaners in virginia beach, calling them first as well. They were more than helpful, polite, professional, and happy to assist me with my BASIC questions and concerns. I will never spend my money at this place or recommend it to anyone. (I drove an extra 25 mins and paid 14 $ + 20% tip more to take my clothing else where.) If I had any advice for the owners, I would hire employees who arent so rude and actually enjoy giving moderate customer service because this lady obviously doesnt care about your business or customer satisfaction.

They advertise low price but the scary part is that if youre clothes are lost & more than $60 dollars youre out of luck according to the Zips franchise owner , this location sold about 2 weeks or so , I guess the previous owner Maurice got paid and is passing the buck to the new owner, in the past he always made good on lost item. The new owner will lose my loyalty and those that I know that come here that will be a lot more in just my dollars Ive spend here since its opening and future earnings from me and others I know, my shirt was $275 and less than a few weeks delivered to me ,I urge Zips corporate and the new owner from Stafford Va to look more closely at this practice which is in no way the customers fault, I waited for Maurice to look into this , I inquired with Tracy at the location about a week ago when I noticed the picture of Maurice and his wife was taken down and was told it was sold, I did get a email back and thought as before he would do the right thing instead his email says that all liability was passed to the new owner, well who ever you are , this seller cost you future business.

Great work, great price, same day service, nice staff, but pick up and drop off are getting really REALLY bad. So bad that weve started going elsewhere Most of the time. Lately the wait is never less than 15 minutes, ever, even with just one or two people in line, some problem with someones pick up drop off holds things up, employees mulling around and wait and wait before finally manning an additional cash register. No urgency and really ironic considering the name and the product are based on fast service. People in line joked that it takes longer waiting in line than it does to actually dry clean your clothes. Impossible anymore to do morning pick ups or drop offs before work, and excruciating to try it after work. So unfortunate since otherwise we love this place, the people, and the dry cleaning and laundering work they do. Zips management, please read this message, and think about it, great businesses needlessly go down in flames by missing the obvious, hope you dont let that happen here, and hope to have a reason to come back full force and spread the word.
