Absolutely awful service. They ruined my bridesmaid dress while cleaning it and didnt even tell me about it when I picked it up. I took it in to be washed and pressed, and it didnt have any specific spots or stains. When I got home after picking it up and realized that my yellow dress had several red stains on it, I went back and they offered to re-clean it without arguing with me (as if they were well aware that this was their fault). When I went to pick it up for the second time and saw that the stains were still there, the owner told me that it was a "crap dress" and was stained when I first brought it in. I had a picture of the dress from before I took it to them to prove that it wasnt stained originally, but he refused to look at it and continued to assert that it was my fault. I asked for compensation for my ruined dress and he refused, as my dress was "crappy" and he didnt stain it (he did). I do not recommend trusting them with your clothing, and definitely do not recommend them based on the inappropriate way they treated me. They were rude, unhelpful, and ultimately, they ruined my dress. There are better places to go in Lancaster. Give them your business instead.

I agree with Sarah and RI Koller. A white cashmere sweater came back looking grey and smelling of cleaning fluid. I landed up washing it myself to get the smell out and brighten the white. -- Later I made the mistake of going there again, this time with a dress and jacket that I was going to wear to a special occasion. They were new, but I felt they needed freshening and pressing. Bad mistake to take them to Kissel Cleaners. Again they were returned smelling badly of cleaning fluid. I researched this and found it was due to the cleaning fluid not being changed frequently enough, so that it can make your items look dull and grey and impose a lingering smell. -- I will not go to Kissel Cleaners again.

Overall I have had a good experience here. The location is convenient. Yes, the customer service could be stepped up. I have not had any issues with them ruining clothes over the past few years as the others state here.

Ruined a bunch of the clothes we took there, and when my wife took them back, the owners solution was to get into her face and scream at her. They shrink clothes and punch holes in clothes, then claim its your fault.

I agree with the previous post, that was my experience too. The owner accused me of trying to scam him by bringing damaged garments to his shop, now I take my business elsewhere.

They were very rude. Wrote the wrong thing on my ticket, and refused to change it so, I ended up paying for more than I had to. Never will be going back again!
