I have worked with Dominion Service Company for close to 10 years. I highly recommend them for both commercial and residential service! My job entails selecting the best quality and value for the nonprofit organizations with which I work. Previously, as the Controller of a major arts organization with multiple, huge HVAC units in a 100 year old building, I first engaged DSCR for service. They were incredibly reliable, lightning-fast (once, on a weekend when we had a show with 600 patrons in July, and a broken AC unit!), cooperative and supportive of our budget constraints, and creative and skilled in dealing with our unique architectural challenges. When I moved to Richmond Ballet as CFO, I soon needed new HVAC services. Once, again, Chase Tunnell and the DSCR team have provided top quality service. I use DSCRs residential services for my home, now, too! I recommend them every chance I get. DSCR is committed to our community in supporting local businesses and nonprofits, and involving their team in community events. Its rare that I gush over a vendor, but these folks truly deserve it--and, are truly more like valued team members than simply a "vendor". Thanks, Dominion Service Company! Keep up the great work!

My heat went out and I initially called Robert B. Payne but they were not able to come out until the next afternoon so I ended up calling Dominion Services and they were at my house within an hour after I called. Very professional and very good at what they do. My relay switch had gone out and even though he didnt have the part on hand he bypassed the relay to keep the fan running until he could get the part the next day to fix it. He recommended replacing the unit and gave a fantastic and more then fair price but due to money constraints we were unable to do it at the time but will definetly replace in the summer. Very professional, very nice, very helpful, and very knowledgable is how I would describe Terrone. I will never go back to Robert B. Payne after haveing Dominion Services come out...they are a quality outfit that cares about the customer!!! Thanks so much! Sincerely, Danielle Sutton

Dominion service company Came out said they could not just sell me the filter grill and I said OK. He gave me a 280$ price for a grill that took 5 min to install that cost maybe 50$ and charged me for 2 hours labor. When contacted them why they charge over 100$ per hour, and he wasnt even there for 2 hours. When they were here for 10 min they said they charge only by hour. Then Why 2 hours. They said we came out there the first time to see what the problem was and they left went to get a grill and came back and installed it. So they said they came out 2 times when It should have only been max 1 hour of work. Company is scamming everyone. On a Previous job they also tried charging me for 2 hours of labor, I bought part for same price they sell it for and installed it in under 5 min. If you want to use this company make sure you pay them per hour job.

We have used Dominion Service Company for many years and have had a new heat pump installed and a mini split unit installed as well as several repairs to our units. They always send qualified, polite, and efficient technicians to our house. Yesterday, we awoke to no heat downstairs and its very, very cold with a huge snow storm predicted this weekend. They had the technician here before noon, we had heat within an hour. Sadly, our very ancient heat pump is not going to last much longer and we decided to replace it. By 1:30, their estimator was here, had taken the information he needed and within 24 hours we had an estimate. I cant recommend this company enough!

We were familiar with Dominion Service Company for their Richmond business; however, when they opened an office in Virginia Beach, we were thrilled! Chico is our service technician and he is so knowledgeable and kind. He only made recommendations for services/repairs that were absolutely necessary and the prices are extremely affordable. We bought the Club Agreement which includes 3 Tune-ups within a 1 year period and it was less than the rate for a standard HVAC company to come out for 1 visit! If you live in Hampton Roads/Richmond, go with Dominion Service Company...they are wonderful!

Got a call from my renters at 9 am saying the AC in the house wasnt working. Put in a call to DSCR shortly after and by 10:30 am they had someone on the way. I was grateful how quickly they responded because temps were going to be in the 90s that day. The tech was very professional, quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained to me what was going on. Thankfully it wasnt a major issue and he had it fixed quickly. No pressure to fix or replace anything above and beyond the problem. He was in and out within 45 minutes and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely use again.

Over the years we have used a fair amount of heating and cooling companies. I certainly wish I discovered Dominion a lot sooner. It would have saved me a lot of money! Finally, a company who does what they say they are going to do - when they said they would do it. They were on time, professional, and really explained (in terms I could understand) the problem plus possible solutions. And the best part....My new system has truly lowered my electric bill. So far I am saving $80-$120 a month compared to last year. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dominion!!!

I wanted to have some electrical work done to prepare me in case of a power outage. I had heard of Dominion and after a talking to local reference I contacted them. "Bill" was assigned my job and was an absolute professional. He not only did the work I requested but gave me an education on electricity. He went above and beyond by explaining to me how to properly add and manage a load on a portable generaor. I will definitely call DSC for any future electrical work.

Dominion has been a good company to work with. I have used them multiple times in the past 10 years out of which I have had 2 years service contracts. The service contracts paid for itself with two free system tunes and a couple of service calls I had to make while on plan. I did have one issue with the pricing of a coil and refrigerant replacement but it was worked out quickly by the service technician. Dominion has trust worthy service techs.

We have been using DSCR at work for about 4 years for repairs and quarterly maintenance on our 16 rooftop units. If we have an issue, they are usually able to come out the same day. Most work is scheduled with the same tech, who is familiar with our equipment and its history, and whose opinion Ive come to really trust.

DSCR is Highly Recommended for installing, repairing, and maintaining any Heating or Air Conditioning system. Over the years they have proven to be consistently quick to respond and quick to fix any problems for less money than what other HVAC contractors charge.
