I have waited 3 weeks to write this review. Before I hired this company I read all of the reviews, and felt good about what I had read. Unfortunately, my experience with them was very, very disappointing. We had lost everything in a house fire last year, and the home we purchased 6 months later needed some updating. This was the first time we had ever had an upgrade done , and were so excited. The major part of our agreement with them was for a bathroom makeover. New tile floor, tub, light fixtures, vanity etc. The job was not completed for four months. From the wrong vanity size being ordered, (They ordered, and salesman said I gave wrong measurement) to another vanity I chose and waited for delivery of. After a month, I called the salesman, who said he thought I had ordered it. I hadnt ordered anything, why or how would I have ordered it. He ordered it that day and we finally got it delivered. The last day in the bathroom, I had to leave early for a funeral, so I did not see the end result. When I arrived home and ran up to the bathroom to see it all completed, I actually cried. Not from happiness. There were so many things not completed. I wish I could post the pictures, but I spoke with the company. They sent someone else out to fix the problems. The walls looked like they hadnt been sanded, the tile floor in the closet had holes in the corners. Still not completely happy, the sent the man out again. He fixed the other wall, fixed some of the calking and repainted the walls. I had handed him the wrong paint, and he didnt realize it until he finished painting. He called the company, and they said since I was the one to give it to him it was my fault and I would have to pay for it to be painted again. I spoke to the owner of the company and was told I needed to take some responsibility. I said if it had been done right the 1st or 2nd time, this never would have happened. I am still so sad this happened. I have since repainted myself. There were other issues with a door we were having replaced. Waited a month for it, called and was told it had been delivered to Pink Rose, but there was no name on it, and they didnt know who it was for. I would never use this company again. I am very sorry it didnt work out, since this is my one and only experience with an update. I spent alot of money and did not feel we got the best.

Apparently...people within the company dont communicate with each other. After a technician came over and gave us an estimate...a totally different technician show up to do the work. He was unaware of the requested changes discussed earlier with his boss. The technician did a nice job with the change in plans on the fly. But for some reason he installed the dual primary light/fan switches to the room sideways rather than cutting a small hole in the drywall and installing the switches in the proper orientation. I contacted the company and was told somebody would be out to remedy the situation. Then the owner called and said they wouldnt. Apparently it was my fault for assuming that the wall switches would be installed in the normal up/down position, but then again Im just a homeowner. I guess he expected me to watch the technician work and point out issues as he went along. Then owner then made some odd remarks about Wegmans not taking back rotten lettuce and apparently to the owner the customer is NOT always right. So use these guys at your own risk. Now the owner once again sites my expectation of a normally placed lightswitch as a fault of mine....if his excellent installation guy (and he really was GREAT) had bothered to ask me how I wanted the switches placed....a company admitted communication failure... I would have told him to replace and get a new switch box. But he didnt ask...Let me say again...the tech was top notch and I cant say more about his technical skills...but his knowledge of the customer service end was lacking....not HIS fault....Joe...

What I just sent to PRHS via email: "Just wanted to you let you into we are so glad we had you out today (specifically Matt Cicatelli). Matt did a fantastic job; he did it neatly and efficiently - and he over-delivered in the time department, too! Not that its necessary, but it was also nice that he was very at ease with our pets (its obvious hes an animal lover), which is something many people care about these days. Wed request him again in a heartbeat - would you please make sure he knows how much we appreciated his work and his kindness? I was also pleased with the information I received during the scheduling, especially since we had not used you before. The email confirmation and reminder were nice to get, and I like the smaller blocks of appointment times you offer. I will be happy to recommend you to friends and neighbors (and yes, people ask us for our opinion all the time, and we are also always proactive when it comes to recommendations) and we will definitely be calling on you again in the future. As a matter of fact, I already messaged two neighbors about how well the outcome of todays service went. Thanks so much for providing an excellent service at a fair price with nice people - "nice" goes a long way with us!"

I requested an estimate on a kitchen/dining floor demolition project. Ron came out and Im so glad he did. What I thought was needed--the removal of 4 levels of flooring material back to the original sub floor--became something much more manageable after talking with Ron. He suggested that we remove only the first two layers ourselves (linoleum and stapled-down particle board) and put new floor over the remaining smooth linoleum layer. Thats exactly what we are doing! Ron lost a job by offering a logical, cost-effective solutions, but he gained a potential future customer. Of the five other kitchen renovation contractors we had visit our home and estimates of $1,800+ to do floor demolition, Pink Rose was the only one to make this logical, no-cost (other than our sweat equity) suggestion. Thank you for your honesty.

Thank you Pink Rose!! I am doing the happy dance in my head......I have asbestos (mineral cement) siding on my house that no one wants to touch - anyone whos come out to look at what I needed to have repaired/replaced recommends that they (of course) would re-side it in vinyl. I had 3 panels that were chipped/broken around a window, down to the studs. Pink Rose sent Andy A, who said no problem, they could replace them (I already had the replacement pieces). Pink Rose (Andy again) came out today and replaced them - prepped, replaced, cleaned up & gone - within an hour!!! Absolutely professional. He understood my concern with winter fast approaching and the studs being exposed to more inclement weather. As a homeowner, I am working on that honey-do list and I will definitely be contacting Pink Rose again.

I had an issue with my above ground pool deck sagging, and I couldnt find a pool service or repair person to even come look at it. I contacted Pink Rose, who immediately scheduled an appointment to review the deck and provide an estimate, and then did a great job on a subsequent appointment jacking up the deck and ensuring it was level. They arrived exactly on time both appointments. The work was done completely to my satisfaction, and the final bill (which equaled the estimate), was very reasonable, especially considering they had to bring their own materials. It looks like I have a new pool! I definitely be using them for future repairs, and they proved to me they can handle anything!
