Ive been bringing my car and my wifes truck to Greg at Paradise Garage for 5 or 6 years for oil changes, inspections and general work and have always had a good experience. They’re older vehicles but Greg keeps them running for us! Paradise know their stuff, they dont overcharge, and they dont try to press any phony repairs on you that arent necessary. I recently had a major transmission issue in my WRX and they did good work and charged me a very reasonable price. Additionally, Greg went to great lengths to ensure that I got what I paid for even when the first used transmission he found wasn’t up to par. When I look for a mechanic, I don’t want the guy who feels like he has to call me after an inspection before putting in a brake light, I want a mechanic working on my car who takes pride in the quality of his work and is going to treat me right when it really matters.

Ive recomended this place to some friends that live in the Fan after my first experience, which was excellent. Theirs have also been excellent. My wifes van needed some bulbs and an inspection and had a check engine light. Called yesterday..."sure, drop it in the morning"...wife drops it in the morning. Done in about a couple hours. The bill was suprising low...friendly all the way through. When do you ever bring a car in a shop that needs some minor repairs (bulbs) and some unknowns (inspection stuff and a check engine light) and come out in a couple hours paying way less than you thought it would cost??? I am so used to coming out of a car repair situation thinking "I wonder if I really needed that done" or "I wonder if they actually did that" or "jeezus christopher why does that cost sooo much????"....Paradise is a pleasant change from the auto repair norm.

I took my car in for a state inspection and they charged me $10 in labor to replace a brake light without asking me first. I paid for it and let them know I wasnt happy but it was a bad move on their part because I was checking them out to see if they would be my new mechanic. If anyone has ever replaced a bulb then you know it takes about 90 seconds. I know that doesnt seem like a big deal but I think it is a bad sign and not a good start to a relationship (car owner+mechanic). They were almost friendly for mechanics and fairly prompt but I get the feeling like they are the type of place that will cheat you. I dont trust them and now I very much doubt the positive reviews out there. They might be from customers who have not realized theyve been ripped off.

My car wouldnt start out of nowhere and although I had to pay $65 for a 1 mile tow from separate company, once I got to Paradise Garage they were very helpful. Greg (who I believe is the owner) was very helpful and seemed genuine. They didnt charge me to get my car back running, and even offered me to come back and borrow their equipment should my car give out again so that I can get it over to the garage. They also offered to lend me a battery for the weekend while they charged mine if I wanted. I am new to the area, but Paradise just got themselves a new customer for life. Also, if you need a tow there they can get you one for a discount he told me.

There were several things I really liked about my first ever visit to Paradise Garage. 1.) I was able to get a next day appointment to change to my front/back brake pads and front rotors on my 04 Accord. 2.) The cost was very reasonable and was the best price I could find when calling around. 3.) The service was done in the amount of time they said it would be. 4.) There were no up-charges, they charged what they said they would charge and didnt sell me on anything else. 5.) Finally, the most important part, I noticed a big difference in my car immediately, the smooth and quiet stopping power of my car has never felt better.

I love Paradise Garage. I went here for an oil change and an inspection. First of all, my oil change was nice and cheap - $20. Soon after my inspection, my car was broken into and someone stole my inspection sticker (weird, I know). I called Paradise and asked if they would give me a new sticker. They asked me to bring it in, and gave me a new sticker, no charge. Really great work and fantastic prices. I called recently because I had a flat tire and even though they dont do tire work, they called me back and gave me the number to an awesome used tire shop - Vonderlehr. Highly recommend! They will not swindle you.

I would highly recommend Paradise Garage to anybody. Ive taken different cars there (Suzuki, Miata), and they have always been able to fix any issues cheaper than any other shop I have priced the repairs out at. On top of that, they are very capable and very trustworthy. It seems like everyone these days are trying to up-sell you on crap that you dont need or isnt broken, so Greg and the guys who work there are like a breath of fresh air. They are knowledgeable about all kinds of makes and models, heck Ive even seen them working on an old porsche, so you know they have to be good.

I was trying to get my car inspected and was having a hard time finding a place who could do it in a timely fashion. I finally took it to Paradise Garage who got it done within 3 hours (everywhere else said they could maybe get it done by 6 PM or first thing the next day). My car needed a new tire to pass inspection but as it turns out they dont do tires. So they sent me off to get the nail removed from my tire and to get a new tire without charging me anything or taking my inspection sticker away. When I brought it back they simply put the sticker on it and sent me on my way.

I would absolutly recommend this garage! After taking my car to a chain store for an oil change and they recommeded over $400 of work, I was encouraged to check out Paradise Auto. Not only did Greg explain to me what I needed and what I didnt need, he also triple checked my car to make sure that I didnt need anything else. When I went to pick up my car, my ride had a problem with his car, Greg came out tested it put in a call and started working on it right away. Most trustful mechanic I have ever found and I will no longer go to a chain place again!

I love this place, I cant say enough about it. Its been difficult to find a good, honest garage to take my car to that isnt ridiculously expensive and this place is all of those things. Ive been coming here for two years, they never over charge me, never ask me to fix something that isnt wrong with my car, and are always friendly and the turnaround is good. They also get a ton of business because of this, which is proof that being dependable and honest and caring about your customers instead of preying on them is an excellent business practice.
