Went to this shop for 2 years without any problems. Just took my car in a couple weeks back for state safety inspection, they failed me for windshield wipers and told me I needed new tires (my tires only have 20,000 miles on them). When I asked why the wipers failed, since I hadnt noticed any problem with them ever, the guy helping said there were tares in both windshield blades. I had him show me what he was talking about. I actually went home and measured how big these "tares" were, they were 1-2 mm big maybe, not even noticeable. Along with that they gave me a list of things wrong with my car and their price to fix them. I took my car to another shop a couple weeks later and was passed on the safety inspection without any problems. I asked the other shop to look at the list of things I was given at Firestone and they didnt find anything. These guys will try to take advantage of anyone they can! Im still getting calls to come buy new tires at their shop. Unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere.

See my photo with the pink arrow? Firestone replaced the belts in my car incorrectly and as result my belt was scraping against my engine block, which also made a very loud screeching noise that everyone could hear from blocks away. So I take my car to another mechanic and they basically said "Firestone didnt install this correctly and your belt is literally shredding up, you need to go back to them and have them fix it". I ended up having to call out of work (I work as food delivery and my car was in no shape to do deliveries) and spending another day entirely at Firestone so they could fix their own mistake they created. They didnt even replace the incorrectly installed belts, so I basically paid $200 for belts that arent even in brand new condition anymore. Never EVER coming to Firestone again in my entire life, let this be a lesson to everyone else.

I replaced 4 Run Flats on my 2008 BMW 335i and got a lifetime alignment service. Received very timely service. Also got a 5% courtesy discount (which they didnt have to extend because I had more-or-less agreed to get the work done. I was able to watch everything the tech was doing and didnt observe anything that concerned me regarding the quality of the work. I ALWAYS take my car to the dealer, and was a little concerned about going to non-BMW approved place (yes even for something as routine as changing and aligning tires, BMW dealers and buffs will have you believe its best to stay with certified shops), but they did a good job and car drives just fine. I probably paid about $300-$400 bucks less than what I would have forked over to the dealer.

I was astounded when we went to have them go get our cars engine light checked and they told us that it was going to be approximately $3,000 to install a catalytic converter and replace an oxygen sensor. They said the catalytic converter was $1,800, but numerous checks with auto-part stores and online vendors had it topped out at $300. We didnt have them fix it obviously, and I will never again take our car in. We live close to it, but it is utterly not worth the expense of having to deal with their gouging insanity. Also, they are always late in their delivery. Every time we have taken the car in it has taken them at least double the amount of time to fix the car as they stated. Go elsewhere.

I thought my car had a leak, so I took it to the Firestone Tire & Service Centers for a check. They said that the brake fluid was leaking, so it was very dangerous to drive the car because its like I had no breaks! They asked for $500 to fix it. The guys explanation didnt seem rezonable, so I took the car to another mechanic which didnt find anythink leaking except water from the AC (which is normal). The second mechanic explicitly showed me that the break fluid container was full and said that the break fluid is oily, while my "leak" was just water. So these cheaters from Firestone wanted to charge me $500 for zero work done on my car! How could I recommend them to anyone?!

Brought my car in to get a flat fixed, ended up replacing two tires, then drove away and made it not 100 ft before my back tire rolled off the car and I came to a halt in the middle of Santa Monica Blvd. Turns out that the wheel hadnt been bolted in properly and apparently this was not caught by the staff or management before my car was handed over to me. They were amicable about resolving the issue and even sent me a package of free oil change coupons, but I dont know if I could honestly recommend this place to anyone else. I just picked up my car from the shop and realized that they had not returned my cars wrench (used to jack up the car when fixing flats, I think).

I am extremely upset. I took in my 2012 Ford Fiesta in last Sunday in a rush- my rear door latch unexpectedly stopped working. I took it to Firestone, as I had been a loyal customer for years. Not only did this location keep my car for an extra two days later than they promised, but they failed to mention that the part was under a recall notice, which they would have been notified about when they called the dealership to have the part shipped. What could have been fixed for free ended up costing me $300. I am extremely hurt, because I have routinely used Firestone. Please do not trust this branch of Firestone- they are obviously untrustworthy.

I just brought my car in to get a new set of tires. My wife had done the same a couple of months ago to a competitor nearby. In her case, there were constant attempts to upsell, badgering about buying this service and that service, and the job took the entire day. My experience at Firestone was exactly the opposite. No attempts to upsell other than the cursory "Are you interested in this service?", they actually took no for an answer. The tire change was done in a matter of hours at wasnt outlandishly expensive. I went in steeling myself to have another stressful experience and didnt have one at all. Ill happily use them again.

I went in to get an oil change and to have them check out the engine of my 1999 Honda Odyssey, since the Check Engine light had recently turned on. They applied an oil change coupon for the oil change, even though I did not have it printed. I simply asked them, Are there any coupons that I can use for the oil change, and they automatically gave me a discount. After doing a $99 diagnostic (to figure out why the Check Engine light was on), they gave me a call and told me what needed to be fixed. They fixed the car in the timeframe that they had previously told me and held the car for a day so that I could pick it up in the morning.

went there, because my ECU module is broken. They charge me 1563 to replace a new one. I ask them to give me a list of service provided by them and why it is 1573, they just say ECU is 750 and Ignition something something is 750 as well + taxes( which I know for sure a brand new ECU cost less than 350 for my car). I have no choice but to choose them if it wasnt my car registration is going to expire in 10 days and I need to pass my smog check. If you have a choice, dont go there and make sure you get a second opinion from other shops. These guys will rip you off and dont tell you why.
