I paid "Honest" Auto car about $60.00 to perform a cooling system pressure test and estimate for radiator repair and received the car back the same day. Immediately subsequent to picking the car up, I heard a terrible racket under the hood. Upon investigating I found a small piece of metal Id used to try to jury-rig a radiator leak seal had been left loose in the engine compartment and had fallen into one of the two cooling fans. Then i noticed my combined radiator cap//thermostat was lying on top of the valve cover. I went back and was received unsympathetically. The next day, while working under the hood, I observed that the front grille of the car adjacent to the radiator had been left unscrewed, the screws nowhere in sight. So a few minutes ago I went back to Honest Auto Care and spoke with the manager, explaining that in addition to the combined radiator cap/thermostat having been left on top of the valve cover and the metal piece Id used to try to jury-rig a repair having been left somewhere in the engine compartment and then having fallen into one of the two radiator fans, Id subsequently discovered that theyd left the front grille near the radiator unscrewed. In the course of the discussion, Paul, the manager, falsely claimed Id said the car would be picked up the next day, which was simply a self-serving lie. He said that I have his sympathy" but that in reference to either screwing the grille back on or issuing a refund, he informed me sternly that "Sir, were done on you, please leave" and threatened to call the police if I return. I did mention that Im very active on social media, and his response what that some liability may be involved if I post negative remarks; I responded that perhaps I should look into what liability is available to a paying customer whose car was left disassembled. He told me to please leave or hed call the police. So Im out $60 for nothing but frustration and insult.

As a woman it has happened a few times where an arrogant service writer has tried to use what he believes is his superior knowledge of car repair and maintenance to dupe the obviously lost in a mans world woman standing before him. Usually with a few sentences he figures out that l know what Im talking about and backs off. This time was different. Not only did the owner try to mislead me about shocks and struts saying they were exactly the same thing but just with different names, he has the audacity to take me to the inspection listing for safety inspections and try to point out his superior knowledge again telling me that shocks and struts are exactly the same thing but were just named differently by the two inventors. Well Mr. Honest 1 Auto Care owner, you picked the wrong woman to mess with. Your deceptive practices will be reported to the authorities by the end of the day. If you want honest, good service, go to Gills near Dulles Walmart. I wasnt in the neighborhood of Gills so l thought l would just grab a quick inspection. That will never happen again.

I recently took my car to Honest-1 Auto Care for some A/C repairs. I had tried to make an appointment with my dealership. I left a voicemail message(08/15/16, and I still havent heard from them! So, I decided to give Ashburn Auto Repair a try, and I am glad I did! Whenever I visit the dealership, I am always hit with you going to need this or that! I didnt get any of that at Honest-1. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly. My A/C was blowing slightly cool air. They checked my vehicle out and found coolant leaking! They told me exactly what I needed to do. They fixed my vehicle to my satisfaction! The waiting room is immaculate! They also have a TV, and refreshments. I told them about another issue that I was having and they gave me a quote which was about a $100.00, less than I paid for the same repair at the dealership! I dont have anything negative to say about Honest-1. They will be my first choice from now on. I told my daughters about the service and they will be going there in the future!

.. lol I understand the portion where my car tires can fail the state inspection but when you decided to add my fog lamps to the rejection list.. this is when I question your garage capabilities of doing a state inspection accordingly... Oh did I mention that my car passed state inspections 3 years prior which I happen to use 3 different garages. I went to all 3 garages questioning why did you pass my car in the inspection - Apparently they felt threaten and upset and want to question this garages.. so this why Im giving this rating for this garage based on their abilities to inspect a car properly and understanding whats passing or not passing. So ... If you want your vehicle to fail state inspection for nothing.. then I would go here.. btw I already taken my vehicle else were - getting my tires replaced and my fog lamps remained as is"

YOU BETTER CALL.... Paul! I needed a nail in my tire fixed and fixed kind of fast. I called around and they either didnt work on rental cars or they had a 2 hour wait. I called Honest 1s and spoke with Paul and he was very nice over the phone and answered all my questions and they were able to get me in as soon as I drove up. The waiting area has a kids area in it (even though my son isnt with me, this is a great thing to have if you do have the little munckins with you). It even has its own TV for the kids. The waiting area is very clean and inviting and the customer service was top notch. I didnt need much done, but it is nice to have something so close and so willing to help me out.

Every step was seamless, starting with the initial estimate all the way to paying for the service. All of the staff members were professional, and I felt genuinely confident that my best interests were being considered. I will definitely return, and this location will be my first recommendation to anyone who asks for a tip on a local repair shop. Service: I initially called for an estimate on an oil pan replacement which another shop had insisted on. Honest-1 assessed the leak and re-threaded the plug at a significantly reduced cost.

I went for state inspection and they told me that fog light assembly need to be replaced and failed the inspection. They gave the estimation about $440 ($315 parts and $125 labor) for the fog light assembly replacement. I got my car and took to some other auto shop and the issue was only with fog light bulb (not fog light assembly) and they just replaced it for $25 and took the car back to honest-1 for the inspection and they passed it. I will never go again here again. Please think twice before going here for any inspection.

Before going to honest 1 I have been to 4 different mechanics for check engine code po455 . No one was able to locate the leak and they charge me for nothing and the problem was there , a friend of mine recommended me honest1 and first thing they did was to find the leak and fix it . And the best part is that they take responsible of the work they do . Mr.Arun and his team are very transparent and honest about the work they do . You can expect high quality work from Mr.Arun and his team .
