왠만하면 리뷰 안올리는데- 정말 어이 없어 올립니다. 한국인들만 보세요. 처음 버지니아로 이사해서 뭣도 모르고 자동차검사를 받았는데 약 500불 정도 견적이 나왔습니다. 다른 곳에 가면 300불이면 해결될 일이라 다른 곳에 가서 교체했지요- 그런데 다시 가서 검사를 받아서 인스팩션을 마무리 할려고 했는데 처음에 없었던 다른 것을 또 추가로 교체하라고 200불 정도의 견적을 추가했습니다. - 아 이친구들이 자기네에서 교체해야 검사를 완료해주겠구나 해서 미국 온지도 얼마 되지 않아 그냥 200불 주고 완료했습니다. 또 타이어를 갈 일이 있어서 인터넷으로 굿이얼에서 한짝당 80불로 견적을 받고 다시 찾아갔는데 막상 거기서는 97불을 부르는 겁니다. 그리고 레이벌비가 160불이나 되고 다른 것들을 추가해서 보통 가격보다 1.5개가 되는 가격이 나왔습니다. 그러면서도 계속 144불 짜리 최고 좋은 것으로 갈면 오히려 이것보다 이익이라는 말만 합니다. 제 생애 처음으로 리뷰를 남깁니다. - 나름 미식가라 한국에서부터 미국까지 셀수 없는 맛집을 인터넷서치로 찾아다녔고 나름 만족한 곳도 있었지만 정말 실망한 곳도 있었지만 한 번 리뷰를 남기지 않았습니다. 그런데 이곳은 다른 사람이 가면 피해를 볼 것 같아서 처음으로 리뷰를 남깁니다. 오토바디에 메카닉들이 주로 있어야 하는데 왜 카운터에 매니저들이 항상 4-5명씩 나와 있는 걸까요? 그 사람들의 월급이 이런식으로 부풀리기 해서 나오는게 아닌가 의심이 됩니다. - 매니저들을 비하하는 것은 아니지만 제 말은 소비자들에게는 불필요한 돈을 청구하는게 아닌가 싶습니다.

While I am stunned at some of the reviews listed below, I have been a customer of this location since the day it opened and have never had a bad experience. I have 4 vehicles and rotate them all through here at regular intervals and the service has always been great and Ive never had any fluff charges or items found that werent warranted. In the beginning we also would get two opinions and estimates and always came back to this location for the work to be done. Do small things need to be fixed at inspection time? Of course, anyone who thinks that nothing ever needs fixing on a vehicle that has a shelf life is not living in reality which I would guess is the case with many of the people complaining about having things show up in the inspections. I have been given such great customer service over the years that I am now on a first name basis with many of the front office staff but if I had to stack rank them, Eric is the one that sits at the top of the ranking and I was thrilled when I saw he had also become the subject of all of their new print ads. He is wonderful, always takes the time to ask how I am doing, looks over the car, gives me a time frame and they ALWAYS follow up with calls and updates for when the car will be ready. The fact that some know me by name when I walk in and others at least by facial recognition gives this location the home town feel that I like and that also is a testament to the great working relationship the entire front office staff has. In this world of cyberspace and everyone being too busy to have human bonds, it is great to feel like I have this home town type of bond in a community as largely populated as Asbhurn. Eric and the entire front office group is recognized for their outstanding customer service!!!!

I have brought my vehicles to this shop for years and never really commented on the quality and excellent service that I have received. However, this time is different and I will comment...I had ordered new wheels for my truck and I called to confirm receipt of the wheels and was greeted very professionally and welcoming by Kilroy. I then took my truck in to have the wheels installed and spoke w/ Turk. Turk took my information and got me setup for an installation. They unfortunately do not have a touchless tire mounter and informed me w/ this up front and advised me of a local shop that could assist. So, rather than just changing the wheels/tires and possibly damaging the wheels they asked the appropriate questions and arranged service. Now, with the wheels and tires ready to go...Turk called to inform me that the lug nuts did not fit and sure enough, the company where I had bought the wheels from had shipped the wrong lug nuts. Turk, talked me through options and even suggested that he might be able to assist. But, I contacted the company from where I bought the wheels and they informed me that they could get the lug nuts out and to me before the weekend. Then the next day, I checked the tracking and wrong...they were scheduled for Monday...that meant my vehicle was going to be stuck at VA Tire and Auto over the weekend. I called Turk to let him know and he took it upon himself to follow-up again and spoke w/ his service manager Chris and the team at VA Tire and Auto...found some lug nuts for my truck. The team Turk, Ty, Justin, Chris and the folks in the back got my wheels and tires mounted and to me before the weekend. Thank you VA Tire and Auto for all the service w/ my recent visit and ALL the prior ones.

They use to be really good and I have been using their service over 5 years. What I found out in past two weeks and how they handled the situation is not really good. They gave me parts estimate over 900+ dollars and I found my parts little over 400 dollars. They told me that they will perform service with out warranty even for their service. I went to them last week to get service done and they sent back stating they are busy. I went back to them again yesterday and they told me that they are busy and told me they will finish it by today 5 PM. They call me after 2 and told me same story that they are busy and can finish work until tomorrow. I went back to the store to pick-up my car and requested Manger phone number to talk to him about my situation. They told me that it is against corporate policy to provide his number. I requested his direct office number and they told me that I have call the store to get to him. Bottom line they do not want me to get access to manager. Then I requested corporate number and they almost refused to give it to me. Then I confronted them it is public info and they should provide it. After some hesitation they told me where to find it. It appears they do not offer good service if they do not see profits. Their estimate with repair is over 1400 dollars and since I found my one parts they will only get around 460 dollars. I can not believe how different their behavior based on amount they get. I will take my business some where else. I dont like writing any bad reviews and I only did two times prior to this. But my frustration with their behavior forced me to write review. Naresh

They never want to honor the Good Year Nationwide Warranty program for complementary tire rotations; I have to do THEIR job for them and contact Good Year and hand off my cell phone to the service writer who is incompetent and does not want to do his job. Every time I go I am instructed something differently in terms of where to put my car even though its the same service each time. When I pointed out this discrepancy to the same service adviser who told me something differently the last time, he said what hes telling me on this date is "company policy." The advisers have also told me appointments are pointless as people who walk-in get priority over an appointment and if they park their car in the line ahead of me even though I have an appointment and should take priority, that person gets service first. They also put on a new tire covered under the warranty, but failed to balance them all so my car began to shake above 50 mph. I will NOT be returning to any of the locations for ANY reason. EDIT: I am now a loyal customer of Hogan and Sons, Sterling location, and I havent returned since to VA Tire and Auto since I originally posted this review over a year ago. If you want timely service and service advisors who dont try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary services or discriminate against and/or take advantage of you because youre a female, this is your place!
