I wanted to write to the team and people who are part of Economy Muffler and Auto care, Ashland VA, a big kudos. They are a wonderful team starting from Cathy to everyone(sorry guys i dont know any of your names). The most important thing for me when i go to any auto repair store is whether i get the feeling of trust. Its something that one can only feel when you enter the premises, a feeling that yes, these guys can be trusted, a feeling that you will not get ripped off and shredded for the repair work. It was a strange twist of repair work which brought me to them as economy mufflers were referred by another small shop mechanic as good at repairing my exhaust which broke. I went to them apprehensive on how much i will be billed etc but i was pleasantly surprised that the total bill came up to almost 1/3 of the original estimate given by a more bigger and known mechanic shop. Leaving aside the cost, the workmanship was wonderful and the service prompt. I knew i could trust the team and went back few more times to get my car repaired for other issues. The team here never pushes you to get the repairs done which is important as usually other places i have been to do tend to push for stuff which is not required. I was given a list of options and given the choice to get it done now or later. The email communication is prompt and you get the idea that these guys are hardworking people doing their job and providing best customer care. They are not huge and are located in a nondescript corner. I dont know about how other peoples experiences are with them, for me personally i am happy and wish them luck.

Our family has been doing business with Economy for over 5 years now. We also have a business and all of those vehicles have been serviced by Economy as well. Economy is a business that is very professionally run yet treats you as if you were family. They are an honest company and are very reasonable in their repair charges. Though no one wants to put money in repairs that are unnecessary, you can always trust Economy to advise you correctly and perform quality work as well. If Economy cant fix it then they will steer you in the right direction. Economy will do the best work out there and will stand behind their work. A very happy customer :)

Warning to anyone considering have Economy Auto Care work on your car. I went to Economy Auto Care for an annual inspection of one of my vehicles. I proactively maintain my cars and tend to keep them for a long time. I was quite surprised when Economy gave me a long laundry list of deficiencies that needed to be repaired to pass inspection. They wanted ~$750 to do the repairs. I took my vehicle to another the shop the next day and my car passed needing only windshield wiper blades for a cost of $20. Beware of these guys!

We have been here many times and every time they are amazing!! They are NOT one of these "take your money" companies. They are honest and have integrity!!! They are not out for your money , they are out to do quality work along with giving you great prices!! We have taken not one but 2 cars here and will continue to in the future!! Its hard to find a genuine mechanic, but we have and I recommend them to everyone!

I was greeted by friendly staff (Cathy), was given an estimate very quickly, and my car was repaired in a timely manner. The customer waiting area was very comfortable and clean, and the staff answered all of my questions. I highly recommend economy auto care and plan to bring our vehicles back again!!!

A friend recommended Economy to me when I first moved to this area, seven years ago. It was good advice. They keep my fifteen-year-old car running like new. The staff is professional, poised, and polite. They can be trusted to make the best repairs at reasonable rates. I have recommended them to all my friends and neighbors. Staff was helpful with issues my vehicle was having and fixed it quickly and was reasonably priced. Have used them for the last couple years since a friend referred me to them. I Deffinently recommend their services. Only complaint is that they left my car in gear rather than using the ebrake so i nearly hopped the curb after starting my car lol.

We came there to have our car inspected because we ran over a rake on the freeway and it hit something underneath the car and our car was dripping. We came there and had car fixed in very little time. They were very polite and nice, they deserve the 5 stars.

Great friendly and fast service i had gotten my taillight bulb changed and the total didnt even exceed $20 so i was very happy about how cheap it was they had a nice waiting area to woth comfy sofas and tv will def be returning here in the future!
