Kim did my hair on Thursday 7/7/16 she dyed it wrong a big patch of color is missing on the side AND to make things worse my hair is cut uneven!!!! When told that she did my hair wrong earlier today before I went to work she chuckled a bit and looked confused as though she didnt know, and also if all of this isnt bad enough she didnt seem to care! After going back to see Kim Tuesday 7/12/16 to get my color fixed she finally realized the error of her mistake and attempted to recut my hair even! I will say after seeing the error Kim did seem apologetic and did offer multiple times to make corrections, but after the first experience I denied the offer. She did fix my color though. Ill just say be mindful of the style you get and if possible steer clear of haircuts.

Dont go to VONETTA!!!!!!! if you want a haircut. I presented her with a picture of the haircut I wanted, it was more of a baby doll cut, when I walked out I look like a man, she shaved the back of my head and the sides. Leaving me with an inch of hair on the top! I was devastated! I cry every time I try to style it or look at it. There is literally nothing I could do to make it look better. I'm 22 with a 65 grandma cut and the look she gave me was nothing like what I showed her. She sucks!! I will never even look in her direction again. Now VASHTI she's the best. I will never go 2 anyone but her from now on. Please don't let VONETTA stop you from going to the salon, everyone else is just lovely!

Ive been a client at Silk Hair Studio for 6+years and my experiences have always been amazing. From my first encounter with my stylist, Renada, I have felt comfortable in her chair. In the past, Ive had many stylists who felt a trim required inches to be "cut" off. Needless to say, after many phone calls inquiring about the shop and their many services, Renada has helped me trust again by being patient and knowledgeable . Luckily for me, if I want to switch my styles up, there are stylists that specialize in additional services. Thank you Silk Hair Studio for many years of beautification to myself and many others!!! Stylist (kim) seriously had her friend who was still in starbucks uniform watching my roots lighten while she left the building. I dont know why but im sure it had something to do with the numerous personal phone calls she was on while doing my hair... Glad she came back in time because i heard ms. Starbucks telling a different stylist "she told me to watch for the line of.. Something". Demarcation...... So long story short dont go here unless youre ok with starbucks employees with no hair experience doing your hair. Ratchet and unprofessional.

I havent cut my hair in seven years, and after one bad experience at another salon I couldnt trust any salon. But my first time visiting this salon, I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Renada and her cutting and styling my hair. She did a beautiful job and I feel so much better. Id like to thank the young lady who washed and blew out my hair as well. She did a scalp sensitivity check (Which some salons dont care to do fully) and the blow dryer didnt burn my scalp. Thank you! I will be coming again.

I had a consultation and appointment for a sew-in with Vonetta and she was absolutely amazing. She did the sew-in within 2 and a half hours and she gave me the exact style I asked for and it matched the photo perfectly, and the best part about it is that it totally looked like my natural hair, which I love, everyone in the salon was nice and welcoming. Im definitely scheduling another appointment.

It was my first time going to silk & i had a great experience. Renada did my hair and Chrissy did my little sisters hair. They did not disappoint! Love love love Vashti...she can do some damn hair...i recommend her but dont want to cause then she may not have no appt for me..lol...but no shes AWESOME w/her weaving skills...if u can here ab appt w/anyone it should b her and Jasmine wash your hair...ughhh omg u just dont know! She do exactly what you ask unlike that new chick they got washing hair...

I went to Vonetta...NEVER AGAIN! She doesnt know how to do a sew in..She was rude as hell and she had the audacity to blame me on my hair not looking right! Whoever gave this girl a license to do hair needs to be FIRED!!! Other than that the other employees seemed very professional If I do go back I will not be making an appointment with Ms.Vonetta!!

Ive only ever gone to Kim to get my hair done, but my hair always comes out great. Shes great when it comes to coloring my hair and it seems like she can do any color I ask (purple, red, brown, blue, black.) I love it here and any time I want my hair colored, Kim is who I go to.

I went there yesterday to get a sew in. In instead of her telling me she did not know how to do a lace front closure she tried it anyway and cut my closure too short and she didnt sew it down all the way so when I comb my hair the lace front comes up..
