I live in Reston Va but work full time in CT. There is only one person that I will let cut my hair and that is Patrick at Hair Cuttery in Sterling VA at Dulles 28 Centre. Patrick is a shy guy but his detail to attention is spot on. I am glad to say that I will drive over 350 miles to let Patrick cut my hair. I have been going to Patrick for about 3 years and wish that he would be promoted in his art for he is a master skill. Patrick will not let you leave his chair without making sure that his work is completed at 110%. Patrick makes you fill comfortable and makes sure that you leave feeling better then you came in. Hair Cuttery at Dulles 28 Centre is a welcoming salon and they should be very happy to have Patrick on their team. Please give yourself the best experience every buy having Patrick cut your hair. It may sound vain to travel 350 miles to get a hair cut but it is worth it cause Patrick is a master in his field. Thanks Patrick for making my visits great.

I walked in and there were two barbers, both of whom were disinterested in the job. I sit down with the one available and she asks me what I want. Im a guy, a basic hair cut, inch off the top, parted to the left, buzzed on the sides and the back. SIMPLE. A basic trim. The girl I had responds, "What number?" I am perplexed by this seeing as there are many numbers in life, but after a brief discussion, I am told it is the number of the shears so that she can buzz an inch off the top. What?! She doesnt even know how much her shears took off. I told her I didnt know I had always just said one inch. She gave me lip service for it and asked her compatriot who informed her of the corresponding number. But then told me I should know my number. horrible customer service!

The sign says "No Wait"....very simple, there is no wait. You give them your name and you go sit in a swivel chair and get your haricut. You shouldnt have to sit next to two OTHER people who are WAITING for haircuts. I was on my lunch break and now Im starving because I didnt have time to eat lunch. Also, the hair dresser smelled like smoke. The haircut was good. If you see the sign that says No Wait, make sure to confirm it with them before being made to WAIT. Its really a simple concept. Hopefully someone listens.

I got my haircut about 6 months ago here. Terrible experience. My hair was very long but I had a few split ends, so I went for a good 3 inch trim. I went, asked them for what I wanted, and they chopped 10 inches. Need I also state my hair is also curly, so it was too short to even put in a ponytail. My hair is taking a long time to grow back, and when I told them that they cut way too much without my consent, they said "you needed a good haircut anyways" I give zero stars.

Cant give zero starts but this is what it deserves. This is by FAR the WORST hair cut I have ever witnessed in my whole life and I lived on 5 different continents. The lengths are uneven and the blow dry is like worse than if I did it with my feet!!! It is like a child cutting my hair. I have emailed them but no compensation can ever take back my disappointment!!!

This is my favorite place to go for my kids haircuts. Dont plan to walk-in unless you can wait a while -- you might hit it right or you might have to wait over an hour. Apparently it is no secret how great the staff here are, so your best bet is to make an appointment! Melanie and Patrick have been our go-to people for 6 years now. Highly recommend.

Wouldve loved it, but staff was a little absent from duties and more interested in phone than any humans, but hey, we live in a technological time. Patrick was just amazing as other reviews stated. Well worth any drive from wherever, Im from Fla, lets see how far is that???????

I found Melanie at the Hair Cuttery at Potomac Station 9 years ago and followed her to Dulles 28 Centre. She is the greatest. She perms, cuts and styles my hair the way I tell her. To assure that she is available, I always make an appointment with her. Give her a call!

Koni has been cutting my and my familys hair forever and gives me a great cut that lasts for months without shape-up. I am a pretty picky customer when it comes to my hair, so I bring in a photo and have what I like any and every time, for less than $20.

Poor Job, It was my worst haircut ever. The barber was very inexperienced from the way she did the cut. I left the shop bleeding from my neck .she is asian with a name H**g . I wouldnt come back to the same store again.
