I recently got married and had my hair and make-up done at the salon. Amanda did my hair and two other women worked on my mother and maid-of-honor. I couldnt have been more pleased with everyones hair. Amanda took her time, checked in with me to see how I was liking it, and made sure to let my maid-of-honor know how to do the veil and headpiece. I did not feel rushed at all at the salon and felt like it was my day. They were all very friendly, helpful, and complimentary. The make-up was also a great and my mother and I had lunch right after they did our make-up. The stylists at the salon even did touch-ups to our lips after we ate. Overall, I would rate my experience with them as excellent. They really do make you feel special!

Though I love Aveda products and the staff at this salon was very kind, the length of my hair was cut unevenly. Perhaps that particular stylist (I forget his name) just wasnt having a good day, and I think the other stylists were better, but still... My next haircut was at Six East, which has a nicer environment inside and is cheaper because it is a non-tipping institution. The stylist there parted my hair in the same exact place as the Neutre stylist and noticed the choppy length without me mentioning it. Again, its a decent place and Im sure my review would be more positive had my hair been cut by one of the other stylists mentioned in more positive reviews.

Ive been coming to Neutre since it opeend and while it was called Strands. The location is convenient, right downtown Frederick so you can make a day of it. Go shopping, have lunch, get your hair done and even a massage/ mani/pedi at her spa. I tyipically see Adeline who is a wonderful person, great heart and really cares about people. She also does a great highlight and cut. I always get compliments after I go there. Shes also very quick. Also, I feel pampered there when Im served my coffee on a platter with fresh cream. :) Ive also had Amanda work on my hair, she too is very good and friendly and does great updos!

As somebody with curly hair its always been difficult for me to find a stylist that will just listen to what I want. So Im so very happy to have found Amanda. Shes always listened to my needs and my hair is finally getting back to where I want it after years of overdone styles elsewhere. Shes a true professional in everyway and has a kind, positive spirit : ) The salon is beautiful, quiet and clean, the staff is considerate and of course Aveda products cannot be matched. NOTE: Remember to bring cash for tip since you cant get cash back when you checkout. I always forget and have to come back

I love Neutre. Not only does the staff make you feel like part of the family, but everyone is a professional who does excellent work. I always walk out looking and feeling like a million bucks. Amanda has been doing my hair for years, but she never bats and eye whenever I want to try something new. She did a great job on my hair for my wedding too. I would never consider going anywhere else but Neutre - and they give back to the community whenever they can. Its a great salon run by even greater people.

I have been going to Neutre for over 5 years and to Adeline for probably over 15 years. I cant image going anywhere else and believe hair care is essential as you have to wear your hair every day. I never hesitate to refer anyone as I know they will get an exceptional style from a professional salon that makes you feel like you are part of their work family. I got my wedding hair trial done by Amanda and the entire experience was wonderful! Amanda is very talented, and did exactly the hairstyle I wanted. She, and the entire staff, were extremely friendly, warm, welcoming, and professional. The entire place was superbly clean with an amazing selection of Aveda products on display. Im definitely looking forwarding to returning in Nov with my bridesmaids!

I first started going to Adeline about 10 years ago, just after my family moved to Frederick. She knows hair! I have had several strangers stop and ask me where I get my hair cut, and recently someone even asked to photograph the back of my head. She said she wanted to show her stylist my cut so that she could get it, too - and I told her she should just go to Adeline. :)

I have been a client of Adelines for many years. I still see Adeline every time I now come from North Carolina! Adeline does fabulous cut, color and hi lites for me. I always receive compliments for it! The shop is attractive; the staff are always kind and attentive. And of course I love Aveda products. Now if they were just in NC!

Neutre is an amazing salon. It gives the whole Aveda experience! Carrie does a fantastic job with cuts and colours, and always makes sure that every piece of your hair looks perfect before you walk out the door. Every person in the salon is friendly. The music on Saturdays is awesome too!
