UPDATE: I contacted Thumbtack in regard to this company. They were very alarmed at the quality of work and customer service displayed by Joseph Gonzales. He abandoned my job so they turned off his account and wouldnt turn it back on until he initiated communication with me to resolve the conflicts at my home. He had to rebuild the chimney twice. He did not know the building code for how high to make a chimney. The inspection failed across the board. He came out to fix it and it failed the re inspection. Since then he has abondaned the job again. Read the better business burea profile and look at my pictures. STAY AWAY! I hired this company to install a chimney and fireplace in my home after it was damaged in a hurricane. They said it would be a 1-2 day job and now it is going on 3 months. The contractors lack the most basic constructions skills. The are incompetent at using caulk, installing inferior trim, and exterior siding. Thy had to measure three separate time for a proper fit for a chase cover. The company lacks the initiative/knowledge to pull the most basic building permits which are required by law. DO NOT CONDUCT ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You will be disappointed. I would not let them work on my house no matter how good of a deal they quoted me.

Scheduled an appointment through Home Advisor with Around the Clock Chimney and Roofing on January 20 2016. I received a confirmation email of my appointment the day before and took off time from work to be home for the service. Sometime after the confirmation email, I received a voicemail stating that the company didnt "have anything open for January 20th." Unfortunately, because I work [like millions of other American home owners], I was not home to receive the after-the-fact message and didnt know my service was not going to take place the following day. Needless to say, I am quite aggravated that I took off time from my very demanding job for nothing. I will not be calling this company again.

You can conduct business with them if you choose. However, I would urge you to read their Better Business Bureau profile. My opinion of them is: Poor customer service. Joseph Gonzalez has one of the worst attitudes Ive seen. He likes to brag how long he has worked in the industry, but he apparently has not learned how to conduct business, as he is rude. Poor basic construction skills ( like installing siding). You have to stand over them to make sure they do work. Otherwise, Ive seen them take shortcuts, or mess stuff up. Poor attention to detail. No service after the sale. I think I would pay more to get better service. Do your research on this company, proceed at your own risk.

After poor customer service from the company with the nice jingle, I called Around the Clock. They responded quickly, set up my appointment, GREAT customer service. They came in and cleaned and inspected my chimney, made suggestions and gave me a quote for the fix. The repair was schedule before the left for January 10. I was called at the time of my appointment to explain they will still try to make it but were waiting for the snow to melt a bit off the roofs. I received a call later that afternoon that the tech was on his way, they set up and were finished quickly. I am extremely happy with this company and will use them and recommend them in the future. GREAT OVERALL EXPERIENCE!!

I love these guys!. I had 2 other companies come out and check my chimney. The recommendations from the other companies were all over the board. When Around the Clock came out, he showed me exactly what I needed to do and took pictures for me. All I wanted to do was have a fire in my new house. He gave me a few options, and a couple of days later, I was sitting in front of fire! I was extremely pleased with their customer service and would definitely recommend them.

Had a roof leak coming from my chimney. I called company to get a estimate. They came out next day for free estimate. I received qoute on chimney repair and roof repair. All was completed by the end of the week and has not leaked at all since repaired. I needed new cover and cap on chimney as well as roofing tiles. I would use this company again definitely!

Watch out for these folks and their excessive late fees after a job is completed. I used them for a repair and live outside of the area. They added 20% onto the balance due and charged my credit card without authorization. The work was completed Friday and payment was made Tuesday afternoon. 5% per day is criminal, poor form Around the Clock.
