When my son went in, after driving our Suburban cross country, he asked for an oil change, using conventional oil for our 2001 Suburban. I had called ahead to find out the price since he was brand new to the area. They put in Synthetic oil which in the older engines burns faster and tends to leak (lots on line about this issue). As we drove back across the country the check oil engine level light came on....which for a change of oil after ONLY 1500 miles was quite strange. Had to spend 7.50/qt at a truck stop to be able to drive the next 2000 miles.....Bought 6 quarts....filled four of them.... I called and talked with Willy the manager as I was doing this.......he told me he would not trust anyone other than another Meineke. Not my guy that has been handling this car for 15 years....not anyone but his sister shop..yeah...right...in the middle of the US on NON-REGISTERING oil....so I would stay away from them at this shop. So tomorrow I get to go visit a local Meinke shop....to prove that they did something wrong there at the Williamsburg Shop

While vacationing in Williamsburg from upstate New York our van starting making a noise in the engine which we believed to be the water pump failing. I in inquired with a local garage and they stated that if it was indeed the water pump they would charge me $700 and it would take three days to complete, mind you I was leaving for New York the following day. After searching the internet for alternative auto servicing i came across the meineke location. This location not worked me into their schedule they had me in and out in less than three hours. As it turns out the noise wasn’t the water pump after all but a loose cover that was rattling. I have to say that the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure the safety of myself and my family on our return trip to New York by going over our van from front to back to ensure that there were no other issues. I would highly recommend this location and its staff to anyone who is in need of automobile services in the Williamsburg area.

I went to get my inspection done first when they open early in the morning. The guy said will call you back when its done, four hours later he called me saying that I will have to get the fog light "that we barely use" fixed in order to get it approved for inspection sticker and its going to cost you $49.81 for the light bulb.$15 for labor. $65.00 What a rip off!! I said no!! I will get it fix my self, I went to advance auto bought the bulb for $9.87 installed it my self and I went back to get the sticker. The guy now is so busy that he want me to wait till the end of the day because there is cars in line. Forgetting that I was already being served there! What kinda logic is that to make someone wait 2-3-4 hr for just to look and see that the fog light is on ??? (((Very poor customer service))) they will rip you off if your not watching what they till you ! $50 for a light bulb!!! I didnt know he had to walk to Japan to get it for me ! What a joke.

So I dropped my car off here for an oil change at 2:25. Had my sister pick me up because I didnt want to wait with the baby. Around 3:45 I call to check if theyre done because they close at 5. Guy tells me they are pulling my car in in 15 mins and that it wouldnt be much longer. So when I dont hear anything by 4:45 I have my sister take me back up there because once again they close at 5 and they have had my car for over two hours at this point for an oil change. Why is my car sitting in the same spot I parked it in when I get there????? Like were yall planning on telling me at any point that you just werent going to do my car or was I just supposed to wait another 2 hours? Who runs a business like that? I could have easily taken my car somewhere else instead of yall wasting my time. All I got was a half ass sorry when I requested my keys back. Will never go here again and will drag this shop through the mud to anyone that will listen. Triffling.

Very fast and efficient.the oil plug had been put on too tight by another auto shop and I initially went by the dealer ship and they couldnt or wouldnt remove the plug.They also told me the oil pan could crack and it would cost about 800 dollars to fix.I took my car to Meineke and in about 30 minutes they removed the plug,put in a new one,changed the oil and filter and it only cost 30 dollars.Friendly staff also.Great work!!!I highly recommend these guys.

Showed up there on a Friday afternoon, needing a state vehicle safety inspection. It seemed like every other mechanic in Williamsburg was ready to call it a day, and head out on their weekend. The staff at this Meineke was willing to squeeze me in late in the day, which was a huge help. Their customer service was spectacular. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle there again.

Ive taken my Jeep Wrangler here twice in the past month for different reasons…EXCELLENT service. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with every step of the process. All too often I feel taken advantage of at car places, but not here. This Meineke has earned the right to become the ONLY place Ill take my Jeep. Highly recommended.

Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. Camping in the area when brakes started to grind. Scheduled an appointment on-line for the next morning. Got there at 730 Saturday morning, ended up needing front rotors and pads, was out the door by 10AM. Thought the price was reasonable, dont understand the negative reviews I saw.

The worst place for young pretty girls to go for anything. The salesman not mechanics just want your money. They tried to reject my daughter for a 1 inch tear in one wiper blade. But it will only be about $40.00 for us to replace them... Went to advance Auto $8.00 later. That will be THE last time they get my business!

Great customer service, they always work me in whenever they can and are even able to do basic service to my ancient Jaguar XJ, which no other shop in Williamsburg will do on short notice. Friendly staff, and there always good about price to boot.

Got an alignment done 2 weeks later my 2 front tires where trash. I go back and they say they cannot reimburse me. So I go to good year and good year showed me all the mistakes meineke did. Goodyear has the right equipment. Stay away from meineke

Awesome service very fast. I do recommend Eric he installed an custom exhaust for me and showed me everything and the dos and donts. There very friendly in there and would recommend for anyone to go in. Thanks for the awesome service

Our ABS light was coming on & off, Eric spent time diagnosing the issue and assuring us that without the light staying on the brakes were safe & he didnt want to charge us for parts we didnt need. No charge for his time!
